$1 billion? What kind of genius loses $6 billion?

The NY Times, which has become an integral part of the Hillary Clinton campaign, was the recipient of a leaked copy of Donald Trump’s 1995 tax return and used it to hammer Trump in another one of its political hit pieces:

Donald J. Trump declared a $916 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns, a tax deduction so substantial it could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes for up to 18 years, records obtained by The New York Times show.

The 1995 tax records, never before disclosed, reveal the extraordinary tax benefits that Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, derived from the financial wreckage he left behind in the early 1990s through mismanagement of three Atlantic City casinos, his ill-fated foray into the airline business and his ill-timed purchase of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.

Tax experts hired by The Times to analyze Mr. Trump’s 1995 records said that tax rules especially advantageous to wealthy filers would have allowed Mr. Trump to use his $916 million loss to cancel out an equivalent amount of taxable income over an 18-year period.

Not surprisingly, the Times claimed it did not receive the part of the return which would have included any charitable donations.

This effort was meant to tee up the ball for hillary clinton and she wasted no time pulling out the driver:

Hillary Clinton ripped Donald Trump over the report in The New York Times that he may have turned a nearly $1 billion loss into 18 years of not owing taxes, saying he was “taking from America with both hands, leaving the rest of us with the bill.”

The tax story was the centerpiece of Clinton’s argument on the economy, which came in the swing state of Ohio — which the Democratic presidential nominee had not visited since Labor Day.
“While millions of American families, including mine and yours, were working hard, paying our fair share, it seems he was contributing nothing to our nation,” she said during the rally in Toledo.

“He’s been dissing America in this whole campaign. He talks us down, makes disparaging comments about our country, calls our military a disaster. It’s not, but it might have been if everyone else had failed to pay taxes to support our great men and women in uniform.”

I’ve said it a million times- you can’t spell either “democrat” or “liberal” without the letters h y p o c r i t e.

The Clinton’s utilized the law in exactly same manner as did Trump to reduce their tax liability in 2015:

And Hillary following up, adding Trump “apparently got to avoid paying taxes for nearly two decades—while tens of millions of working families paid theirs.”

However, a look back at Hillary Clinton’s tax returns from 2015 (here), proudly displayed by the campaign proving she has nothing to hide – shows something awkward on page 17…

In fact, so did the NY Times:

Finally, as we noted previously, the NYT itself is also perfectly happy to take advantage of the US tax to minimize the amount of money it pays to the government: in 2014 the company got a tax refund of $3.6 million despite having a $29.9 million pretax profit, an effective negative tax rate for 2014, which it explained was favorably affected by approximately $21.1 million for the reversal of reserves for uncertain tax positions due to the lapse of applicable statutes of limitations.

Of course, there was a time when Trump escaping all that debt was a positive accomplishment:

“Though there are still four years to go in the 90’s, business and government leaders in New York honored Donald J. Trump yesterday for pulling off what they called ‘the comeback of the decade,’” the paper said at the time. “Mr. Trump, the developer who came to epitomize opulent wealth during the 80’s before tumbling into deep financial trouble, has managed to erase much of his debt and is moving ahead with major projects at a time other developers are idling.”

The Times even called Trump the “Comeback King.” My how times change. The very same Comeback King is today disparaged by the NY Slimes for the same events.

Thing is, if losing one billion is bad, then losing six billion has to be far worse, and lose $6 billion of US tax dollars is what hillary clinton did:

In a mind-boggling example of how the government blows—or perhaps steals—our tax dollars, billions vanished from the U.S. State Department mostly while Hillary Clinton ran it, according to a new alert issued by the agency’s inspector general.

Could the former Secretary of State be using the cash to fund an upcoming presidential campaign? In all, $6 billion are missing and it’s highly unlikely any of the money will ever be recovered. The cash was supposed to be used to pay contractors but it just disappeared and documents that could help track the dough cannot be located. How convenient! The paper trail, which federal law says must be maintained in the case of government contracts, has been destroyed or was never created to begin with.

How could this possibly happen? Like a lot of government agencies, outside contracts are a free-for-all at the State Department with virtually no oversight. Hundreds of millions of dollars are doled out annually for a variety of services and no one bothers to follow up on the deals. This “exposes the department to significant financial risk,” according to the State Department Inspector General, which issued a special management alert this month outlining the lost $6 billion. The watchdog further writes that “it creates conditions conducive to fraud, as corrupt individuals may attempt to conceal evidence of illicit behavior by omitting key documents from the contract file.”

Among the examples listed in the memo is a recent investigation of the closeout process for contracts involving the U.S. mission in Iraq. Investigators could not locate 33 of the 115 contract files totaling approximately $2.1 billion. Even of the files they found, more than half contained insufficient documents required by federal law. In one billion-dollar deal involving the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement in Afghanistan, the actual contract was determined to be “incomplete.”

In one alarming case a contract file conveniently omitted that a $52 million deal was awarded to a company owned by the spouse of another State Department contractor employee performing as a specialist. In other cited cases a contracting officer actually falsified government technical review information in a $100 million deal and a contracting officer’s representative allowed nearly $800,000 to be paid on a deal with no official documents to support the payment. It’s the free-flow of public funds under extremely suspicious circumstances.

At the very least the State Department is violating its own policy, according to the inspector general, which divulges that it’s found “repeated examples of poor contract file administration over the years.” The watchdog confirms that “it is the Department’s policy that all contracts, regardless of dollar value, be properly documented so as to provide complete record of: pre-solicitation activities; the solicitation, evaluation, and award process; and [sic] the administration of the contract through closeout.”

This unbelievable report documenting the mysterious disappearance of $6 billion from the coffers of a major government agency brings to mind a similar and equally enraging story reported by Judicial Watch a few years ago. The Pentagon somehow lost $6.6 billion sent to Iraq for post-invasion “reconstruction.”

If you are bothered by what Trump did, your problem is with the law, not with Trump. He did nothing illegal. The same people who will find Trump’s actions offensive are the same who will us every deduction possible on their tax returns. That makes them (especially Hillary) in principle absolutely no different from Trump.
And speaking of tax dodges, the Clinton’s took $2 deductions on Bill’s used underwear:

Clinton, on the other hand, has valued his underwear as high as $2 a pair. And a pair of long underwear, per Clinton on his 1988 return, is worth $15.

A typically extensive document — which apparently Clinton wrote out in his own hand for the tax return filed for 1986, when he was serving his third term as governor of Arkansas — is titled “Salvation Army 12/27” and lists items numbered 1 through 17, for which Clinton took a deduction of $555.

Hillary topped off her insults with this beauty:

“At the time of the worst financial crisis in Ohio in 2009, he would have let you twist and fall,”

Firstly, Trump was in business and not in the business of welfare. Secondly, I know of four guys in Benghazi who were left to twist and fall by Hillary:

The bottom line on this is much the same as it is for everything else. Taking advantage of the tax laws is perfectly fine for Hillary Clinton and the NY Times but not for Trump.

What’s happening here is a horrible commentary on society today and I will explore that in the next post.

that 6 billion went missing when Bush was POTUS
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2003101/Missing-6-6billion-sent-George-W-Bush-aid-Iraq-stolen.html
SADZ doctor just can’t stop blaming Clinton
Thanks for the softball

Hilldabeast has a cow when the Donald loses $1 Billion in business which isn’t that much really, yet she loses $6 Billion of TAXPAYER dollars and likely can’t remember a thing about it!! She is disgusting beyond compare, unless maybe Slick himself!!

@Common Sense:

We are told mrs clinton is the most qualified candidate ever to seek the office of president.

On one hand I can name those who were immensely more qualified than mrs clinton.

On what basis are we to measure her qualifications?

Honesty
Intelligence
Business acumen
Foreign policy
Legislative career
Legal experience

@July 4th American: Well said, I might add integrity as well.

DrJohn, the simplistic and incorrect babble Clinton spews on this Trump tax loss is evidence that she doesn’t understand the taxation system, and neither does her applauding audience.

Trump’s comeback from the abyss was actually a major achievement above Clinton’s ability to comprehend.

During one speech Trump gave during the primaries, he said he absolutely loved pouring over contracts’ fine print for ways to maximize his dealings with the other side.
He once signed a preliminary deal for a used property then used the ”walk-through” as a way to get the price reduced substantially.
It is about time we have an Executive in office who will do such work.
And, he’ll do it for $1 per year……the legal minimum he can do it for.
And he’s also promised to forego taking vacations.
Although he is willing to travel for the sake of the country.

Compare and contrast:
Obama is in charge of the VA.
Over the last 7+ years it has only gotten worse in its treatment of sick veterans.
No one has been fired for that.
Hillary would only be (by her own admission) Obama part three.

Under Trump, however, this will be rectified.
No more false glowing reviews of VA workers who sit on their asses all day and do nothing.
Sick or injured Veterans will have the right to go outside the VA for quick care.

@DrJohn:

Equally as unfortunate is the media as a willing accomplice. Their role constitutionally engrossed was to warn the public of such malfeasance, etc.

The media and the democrat party, I repeat myself, are pushing the same idealogical agenda.

The educational system has not educated the youth to think critically. They are told group think is the norm.

@Common Sense:

Hilldabeast has a cow when the Donald loses $1 Billion in business which isn’t that much really, yet she loses $6 Billion of TAXPAYER dollars and likely can’t remember a thing about it!!

$6 billion WAS NOT lost. The Inspector General NEVER SAID $6 billion was lost.

In fact, Inspector General Steve Linick—the IG in question—wrote a public letter that was published in the Washington Post clearly stating that his report and conclusions were being misrepresented.

What the IG report actually stated was that inadequate documentation and record keeping had been done in the State Department with regard to contracts that involved $6 billion. The money didn’t go missing. It was paid to contractors for services and goods.

Do you even care that you’re being lied to constantly?

A succession of IG audits, investigations and inspections, the report said, found “repeated examples of poor contract file administration.” Among the examples it cited was a recent audit of the “closeout process for contracts supporting the U.S. mission in Iraq.” When auditors asked for a sample of 115 contract files, officials were unable to provide 33 of them, totaling $2.1 billion. Of the remaining 82, the report said, 48 contained insufficient documents required by federal law.

Even a little organization like an HOA must provide sufficient documentation for EVERY PENNY spent by the group!
Hillary was a PISS-POOR administrator as Sec State.
She’d be as bad, if not worse as Pres.
As long as the paperwork is a mess there’s no telling how the money was spent.

@Greg: Greggie, so there is no telling doesn’t let hilldabeast of the hook now does it!! Still waiting for your proof that Romney cheated on his taxes. Still waiting for you to admit Obola lied about his health care plan!!

The NY Times, which has become an integral part of the Hillary Clinton campaign

DrJohn, it wasn’t always thus. Times have changed things somewhat.

In a commentary titled “Blizzard of Lies,” New York Times columnist William Safire describes Hillary Clinton as “a congenital liar.”

The lies got bigger since those days in Arkansas, as crimes got worse.

Hil-liary could have her entire family murdered on live television, and her cult followers would ask for more.

@john: Do you even have a clue? Do you not know the difference between the DoD and the State Department?

Hillary finds it equitable to blame Trump for losing his own investment in a contentious business environment when she herself just “misplaced” $6 billion of taxpayer money without any explanation at all. Most likely, she stole it.

@Nanny G:

Compare and contrast:
Obama is in charge of the VA.
Over the last 7+ years it has only gotten worse in its treatment of sick veterans.
No one has been fired for that.
Hillary would only be (by her own admission) Obama part three.

Well, to be fair, that is not entirely true. While VA managers have been allowed to retire with full benefits, many of the whistleblowers have been fired.

Trump spends money like it’s his; Obama and Hillary spend money like it’s mine.

@Greg: Yeah, it’s not lost… it’s just that no one has any idea whatsoever where it went. But, it’s not lost. No doubt Hillary got her share of it, having to be reimbursed for the $200,000 worth of swag she and Bubba had to return to the White House. With interest.

@Nanny G:
Well said.

And, now we can see from tonight’s VP debate that Pence just mopped the floor with KKKaine while the only thing KKKaine proved he could do is be even more shrill and hyperventilating than Clinton. Too funny!!

Wow! Seriously, I didn’t think it was possible but KKKaine just proved he’s just as damaging for the Clinton campaign, if not more so, as old crooked liar Hillary herself! LOL!!!

The dems will be soiling themselves for the next two weeks as everyone does a postmortem on the shrill, blustering, non sequituring idiocy that KKKaine spewed out tonight!! LMAO!!!!!!! 😆

Hear that sound libs? It’s the sound of water rushing as your two shrill turds are now swirling the drain. You just got flushed by VICE PRESIDENT MIKE PENCE!!!

BWAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

@Nanny G, #11:

Yeah, it’s not lost… it’s just that no one has any idea whatsoever where it went.

Do you imagine the State Department operates 294 physical embassies, consulates, and diplomatic missions across the world, many in areas having serious security issues, without spending any money? The annual budget is around $66 billion. The number of contracts involved for goods and services is enormous. They lacked paperwork to precisely account for around 10 percent. What’s lost is paperwork, not money—as the Inspector General himself pointed out when right-wing propaganda outlets began misrepresenting his findings.

I suppose people have to unable to recognize lies to begin with, not recognize that Trump lies every other time he opens his mouth. He lies so glibly that people don’t even notice the lies frequently contradict each other. They’ve become immune to contradictions.

Here’s a somewhat different spin on accounting, involving corporate tax dodging in the Cayman Islands. U.S. multinational corporations claimed they earned a total of $46 billion in the Cayman’s during the year studied, and it’s safe from taxes so long as the money remains there. The amusing thing about the story is that the entire economy of the Cayman Islands added up to only $2.7 billion for the year.

The point being that it’s totally absurd to claim that elected officials can’t be trusted, while businessmen can be relied upon to bring honesty to the system. This is a goofy meme that often bears little or no resemblance to reality.

Corporate Profits Take Permanent Vacation In Caymans And Bermuda

@Greg:

What’s lost is paperwork, not money

If you don’t have the traceability for the money, how do you KNOW where the money is? $6 billion… 10% of the entire State budget… is lost, unaccounted for, until you can FIND that paperwork.

I suppose this is just another “mistake” of Hillary’s… one in a long, long series of devastating “mistakes” that actually constitutes her “experience”.

The point being that it’s totally absurd to claim that elected officials can’t be trusted, while businessmen can be relied upon to bring honesty to the system.

Hmm…

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/report-five-clinton-shell-companies-established-in-delaware/article/2588147

While Hillary has NOTHING in her resume’ to demonstrate a capability to perform the functions of President (though following up the most failed President in history would make her LOOK capable), she does have a long and well-documented history of failures, lies, corruption and incompetence. That’s your candidate, Greg.

@Greg: Well Greg, I have to account for every $ of the several $million I handle with contractors every year. I also have to make sure that the classified information I handle is secured and only distributed to others with a proper clearance and as needed. You can make excuses for HRC all you want, but they are empty excuses. Hundreds of thousands of government employees are held accountable for the funds they manage and for the classified information they handle. You want to give a pass to HRC because she forgets? She puts the blame on others because she hired inadequate employees? Your description of HRC does not sound like someone who is presidential material.

@Randy: Well I agree 100%. Hilldabeast’s only real defense to all of this is ignorance.

@Greg: Changing the subject Greggie, are you saying the job is far to complex for hilldabeast to manage so ignorance is her excuse?? I agree with you on that one. Are you saying Corporations take full advantage of all avenues of to profit as their share holders insist?? BTW even libturds like you have or likely had 401k’s tied to the stock market of these corporations.

Noting that the New York Slimes has become just a east coast version of Pranda like most all liberal leftists news media scum suckers

To Kaine’s point last night, I think I prefer the “you’re fired” President. $6 billion unaccounted for is a drop in the bucket in our government. There are a LOT of federal employees that NEED to be fired.

@Randy, #20:

Sure. And my checkbook is always balanced to the last penny. But then the Department of State represents a somewhat more complex level of fiscal activity, contractually speaking. There’s an avalanche of contracts involved every year for all manner of goods and services, all over the world.

There’s a difference between imperfect record keeping and missing money. Imperfect records don’t automatically demonstrate theft or misappropriation. They demonstrate imperfect record keeping. The Inspector General stated that imperfect records put money at potential risk—which is true—and advised the DoS to improve its record-keeping.

Do you believe the DoS was held to higher standards of accountability on the watch of Obama’s predecessor? It would be interesting to hear someone attempting to make such a case.

@Greg: Greggie should the DOS be held to s standard less than any global business in the world?? Ignorance and poor record keeping is NO excuse!! If you think the DOS business is more complex than other global companies your sorely mistaken and the resources the DOS has specifically to manage their business is likely more than privately held global businesses.

@Greg: Who cares what a paid troll says. You’re derailing rational discussion to peddle propaganda…paid propaganda.

No one that posts here (save john) is more easily refuted in their childish claims than you. It’s what happens when you get paid to lie. Everyone knows you’re lying.

Best Trump supporter ever, you are.

@Greg: You consider a penny the same as $6 billion dollars? That SOUNDS like a liberal; it’s always someone else’s money and if we run short, we’ll just take more or print it.

TOTAL lack of responsibility, but it is not limited to the State Department. HHS, VA, IRS, DoJ, DoD all lack the determination to be a guardian of the taxpayer’s money. It all comes too easily and they never see the source AND no one is EVER held responsible (in a liberal regime, as long as they are good soldiers) for mismanagement.

Imperfect records don’t automatically demonstrate theft or misappropriation.

It opens the door wide for theft, just like with welfare, Obamacare, Medicare and Medicaid. If no one is watching the till, no one is ever held accountable, and the thieves KNOW this, stealing $6 billion is an easy task.

@Common Sense, #26:

The entire point of the Inspector General is to review departmental procedures and report problems so that they can be corrected. That’s how the feedback process works. It wasn’t Hillary Clinton’s job as Secretary of State to do contract audits. Nor was she the one who set the contract process up.

Who performs a similar function in the private sector, to make certain the public isn’t being deliberately ripped off to boost profits and line corporate pockets? Have you been following the news about Wells Fargo? If you want to see crooks and liars, take a close look at the private sector. Of course, any time the government tries to exercise regulatory powers over the areas most subject to scams and abuse to the benefit of the public, the private sector howls in anger. Because, you know, it’s the corrupt government that is to blame for everything.

Public sector ripoffs are generally perpetrated by the private sector. Who do you think gets payment for government-contracted work? The money goes to private sector interests, not to public employees.

Here’s one of your private contractors. I’d be more inclined to trust a public employee any day of the week.

@<a href="http://www.floppingaces.net/2016/10/04/1-billion-what-kind-of-genius-loses-@Greg: Yep watched Wells Fargo get grilled by Congress. One difference here Greggie, the American Taxpayer can’t go elsewhere with their money now can they?? Also our government just prints more money and goes further in debt!! Can you do that when you screw up your check book?? Come on Greggie, your still saying ignorance is the defense here?? Still waiting for proof by the way!!

@john: The 6 really big one stolen ok we know what happened to that,just try to trace the 6B that maybe wasn’t stolen, but maybe it was, Look into Haiti donations funneled to her cronies, but who cares about those sniveling not rich people, they cant even sue them. Bill and Hillary screwed the Haitians, Hillary in charge of UN funds poof. I wish they would make a political commercial or documentary on how all that money was used to help Haiti, the electric grid the new drinking water system the housing hospitals schools oh I bet you and Greg have all that info please post it.

You’re so suspicious of the Clintons, whose financial activities are largely a matter of public record, yet you want to elect to the presidency a fast-talking, emotionally volatile con man, who doesn’t know squat about geopolitics, who switches positions whenever convenient, and who won’t make any part of his highly questionable international financial entanglements public. There’s simply no sense in this.

@Greg: The suspicions are justified. They are corrupt liars who have gotten rich peddling US influence.

@Greg:

The Obama Debt Tracker: nine trillion bucks of national debt under Obama in less than eight years

@Greg: And you want a party that’s been caught engineering their own nomination, working with the Media to sculpt information, and use complicit Media, the DOJ, and FBI to insist on a nominee that no one in their right mind would vote for.

Besides, who cares what a paid troll says. You’re not a moral person, and easily dismissed.

Thanks for supporting Trump. Your masters might not be forgiving, however.

I have tried to put together many aspects of what occurred at the time this money went missing. If you consider that the money may have gone to ISIS for funding and weapons, then it unites what happened in Libya and the need for massive cover up. I would explain the off site server and the inability to get information from the state department. It would explain the sham investigation by the FBI.

@Bill… Deplorable Me, #33:

The suspicions are justified. They are corrupt liars who have gotten rich peddling US influence.

Endless repetition of an accusation is not evidence of guilt. It’s only evidence that you have enemies.

All aspects of the Clintons lives have been examined under a microscope by hostile investigators for decades. Those investigations—conducted under multiple administrations—haven’t resulted in any charges, let alone convictions. What are they? Untouchable criminal masterminds, straight out of a comic book?

The accusations are a result of the fact that the Clintons are the political right’s longest-standing enemies, and that the right has come to rely almost exclusively on lies and accusations as a means of consolidating and manipulating their support base. Witness Donald Trump, who would have no campaign left if all the lies, anger, and negativity were removed. The guy would deflate like a punctured balloon.

@Greg: The FBI and her sworn testimony before Congress disagrees with you. So do I.

Right. For example, the GOP has disagreed with their own investigative committees’ prior conclusions on Benghazi 6 separate times. The 7th and most recent investigation, they avoided this problem by not adding any summary, findings, or conclusions to their 800-page investigative report. $7 million taxpayer dollars spent on that one, and what the taxpayers got for their money was “We’ll let people read the report and decide for themselves.”

They should all be run out of Washington on a rail. If the taxpayers have been paying close attention, a good number of them will be.

Meanwhile, back in reality where real leaders deal with real issues, President Obama has declared a state of emergency in Florida even before the hurricane hits the coast. This could be very bad. Reality may actually crowd out election news for a while.

@Greg: It could have been done in one hearing had Obama and Hillary not stonewalled the entire process, lying every step of the way.

“The only way we can lose, in my opinion, I really mean this, Pennsylvania, is if cheating goes on. I really believe it.”

Actually, Mr. Trump, you can lose if the voters decide that you’re not a good choice, or even that you’re not the lesser of two evils.

The polls show that Clinton is presently ahead by a few percentage points in popularity and that margin has recently widened a bit. She’s also in a stronger position with likely electoral college votes.

@Greg: No Greg, every level of the DOS would be held to the same standards if there were real leadership at the top. The Department of State is not more complex nor bigger than the Department of Defense. Find some other excuse to provide for your idol!

@Greg: There is but one evil in this race, and it is Hillary.

The Clintons were in charge of over 6 billion in contributions for Haiti, the death count for this hurricane is now over 800, the news agencies showed tin shacks destroyed by this storm shacks that just could not be built for animals in the USA, no mention of storm shelters, many still in tents. The MSM also neglects to show all the protests in Haiti against the Clintons and their complete and utter mismanagement of these donations, money is gone. I hope someone asks her at the debate where all that money went.
Black lives dont matter to Bill and ill
ttps://www.armstrongeconomics.com/international-news/north_america/2016-u-s-presidential-election/pr
Trump has a locker room attitude for women no respect what so ever, Hillary and Bill have no respect for anyone they would steal the pennies off a dead mans eyes right before he votes for her.
Here we go again friggin shameless

The Clintons were in charge of over 6 billion in contributions for Haiti.

The right seems to like that $6 billion figure a lot. It’s also the amount they claim Clinton absconded with at the State Department. Maybe the people cranking this stuff out should vary the numbers from time to time, to make their stories seem a little more repetitive.

It’s been an interesting evening on FOX News. FOX resumed continuous live coverage of Hurricane Matthew after the storm had dropped to a Category 2—largely to the exclusion of any coverage or discussion of Trump’s misogynistic comments.

@Greg: So that relieves HRC from the responsibility for accounting for the $6 billion? Of course, she is a liberal and they get away with everything because ignorant people support them.

@Greg: How much reporting on Hillary calling lefties a bucket of losers was there on MSNBC I noticed PBS said nothing about her wanting open borders, Fox is just as slanted as the rest of them just Fox is out numbered but has more viewers. What do you call a basement full of SJWs? A whine cellar. ba da bum
Would you feel better if it was Clintons Blow through 12 billion in donations and tax payer money?
OMG Trump said the P word!

I don’t understand how anyone can seriously believe having Donald Trump as President would reflect well on the nation—particularly anyone claiming to hold traditional conservative values. How can people not see this? And how is it they don’t grasp the significance of the fact that one of our nation’s most dangerous geopolitical opponents is attempting to put this guy in the White House? Do they think he’s doing this for America’s benefit?

@Greg:

Greg, again typing for the democrat party:

I don’t understand how anyone can seriously believe having Donald Trump as President would reflect well on the nation

And reflecting well on the nation is electing a known liar, criminal and wholly unethical individual. Continuing the disastrous policies of the last 8 years is good medicine for the Country. In typical liberal democrat fashion, you put party before Country.

Here is a little tidbit regarding mrs clinton:

What happened to the rapist Thomas Alfred Taylor that Hillary got off?

Hillary’s client intoxicated the 12 year old girl with coke and whiskey then proceeded to rape her.

Her underwear was bloody but Hillary was able to get the evidence thrown out on a technicality. There is audio on youtube of Hillary laughing about the whole thing.

BTW, Taylor died in 1992 of a heart ailment.

particularly anyone claiming to hold traditional conservative values.

Where and when did Trump espouse “traditional conservative values”? I can assure you, he is no conservative.

And how is it they don’t grasp the significance of the fact that one of our nation’s most dangerous geopolitical opponents is attempting to put this guy in the White House?

Putin is not one of our most dangerous geopolitical opponents. Your pResident told us on national TV during a 2012 debate with Mitt Romney;

“Gov. Romney, I’m glad you recognize al-Qaida is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what is the biggest geopolitical group facing America, you said Russia, not al-Qaida,” Obama said. “You said Russia. And the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back. Because the Cold War has been over for 20 years.”

@Greg:

I don’t understand how anyone can seriously believe having Donald Trump as President would reflect well on the nation—particularly anyone claiming to hold traditional conservative values.

To a certain extent, it doesn’t. Yet even having Hillary running and considered is a national embarrassment. She PROVED herself incompetent, she ignore terror warnings and requests for security, she LIED about the sacking of the consulate, she purposely exposed national security to our adversaries, she lied about THAT, she and Obama unleashed ISIS on the world, she has lied, on video, under oath, before Congress… and people STILL support her.

What must the world think of such stupid people?
