The America you know will be dead in ten years

America really is at a tipping point. Donald Trump is going to lose the coming election because he’s an idiot. In so doing, Trump’s failure will leave a legacy- the death of America as we know it. Sarah Palin would have run a better campaign. My Sheltie could have run a better campaign. This is real shame because people are dying to vote for someone out of the system. They are desperate for a fresh face- someone to represent them and not Wall St and billionaires. Trump blew it because he’s such as ass. America’s death spiral began with the election of barack obama. The corruption and lawlessness of the obama regime is nothing less than spectacular and the signs are everywhere. obama  immediately began to assure his re-election by using the IRS to target conservatives and limit their freedom of speech. This malfeasance was widespread:

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) officials orchestrated a complex scheme to dump conservative and Tea Party non-profit applicants into a bureaucratic “black hole,” according to FBI documents made public Monday by a government watchdog group.

The documents describe how the IRS targeted the groups applying for tax exemptions beginning in 2010 and continuing beyond the 2012 election in a scandal that culminated in top agency official Lois Lerner’s retirement following a series of investigations.

The IRS has even destroyed hard drives after they were subpoenaed.

Eight months after Congress requested emails from embattled IRS official Lois Lerner, tax agency employees “magnetically erased” hundreds of backup tapes.

“The IRS did not put forth an effort to locate and preserve the backup tapes,” said Timothy Camus, deputy inspector general for investigations with the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration. He said 422 backup tapes were destroyed.

These are violations of the law. Who has been held accountable for any of this? No one. In fact, the IRS boss John Koskinen, chooses to ignore Congressional subpoenas and the DOJ does nothing.

Obama routinely violates the Constitution:

President Obama has shown a penchant for ignoring the plain language of our laws. He unilaterally rewrote the employer mandate and several other provisions of the Affordable Care Act, failing to faithfully execute a law which declares, unambiguously, that these provisions “shall” apply beginning Jan. 1, 2014. Similarly, in suspending deportation for a class of young people who entered this country illegally, the president defied the Immigration and Nationality Act, which states that any alien who is “inadmissible at the time of entry” into the country “shall” be removed.

The only strength gained by unilateral presidential lawmaking is raw speed: policies can be implemented more swiftly by unilateral presidential action than by congressional deliberation and debate. But the dangers are many, and should counsel any American — of whatever political persuasion — that such dispatch comes at a high constitutional cost.

When the president fails to execute a law as written, he not only erodes the separation of powers, he breeds disrespect for the rule of law and increases political polarization. The president’s own party — for example, the current Democrat-controlled Senate — will face intense pressure to elevate short-term, partisan victory over defending constitutional principles. If partisan preferences prevail, Congress will be unable, as an institution, to check presidential ambition and defend its lawmaking prerogative.

Once such precedent is established, damage to the constitutional architecture is permanent. The next president of a different party will face similar pressures and undo all the previous actions. He will initiate a new round of unilateral lawmaking, satisfying his own political base. The law will fluctuate back and forth, and our legislature will become little more than a rubber stamp for a single elected individual, which is not how representative government is supposed to work.

It’s gotten so bad that this regime is openly advertising to illegals how to dodge the laws.

Just about any illegal alien can avoid arrest by following these simple rules, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) advertises in a post on its website’s homepage.

Providing a virtual “how-to” guide for illegal aliens in its“Sensitive Locations FAQs,” CBP explains that immigration laws are not to be enforced at any of a wide range of designated “sensitive locations” – so that illegal aliens may be “free” to live their lives “without fear or hesitation”

James Comey has shown us that the FBI is toothless and impotent, unless it’s the political persecution of a conservative.

obama has severely damaged this nation and a President Hillary Clinton will finish the job. Tucker Carlson also has noted this:

“This is a pivot point in American history,” Carlson said. “If Hillary is elected – everyone is focused on her deficits as a person. The truth is it’s her policies. She’s going to open the borders, pack the Supreme Court and you are not going to have the same country. Maybe you like that, maybe you don’t. But we’re not going back to the status quo, period. And so Republicans need to understand if Trump loses, it is a new America, OK? A lot is on the line, whether you like him or not. That is real.”

They’ve already given us a peek into the future of a Clinton Presidency.

Clinton promised to rewrite the First Amendment

Hillary Clinton wants to win over Bernie Sanders voters, and on Saturday she bid for them by reinforcing her promise to rewrite the First Amendment to limit political speech that she and they don’t like.

“Today, I’m announcing that in my first 30 days as President, I will propose a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United and give the American people—all of us—the chance to reclaim our democracy,” Mrs. Clinton said in a taped speech to the Netroots Nation conference of progressives. First 30 days? Who knew the 225-year-old First Amendment was in need of such urgent revision?

Snowflake liberals try to prevent conservatives from speaking at colleges Under a progressive Clinton they will be banned entirely.

Anyone in possession of a Confederate flag will be arrested and see his or her employment terminated.

Anyone engaging in anti-Muslim rhetoric will be prosecuted.

Genital mutilation will become acceptable as Islamic tradition.

Colleges will expand draconian restrictions of free speech.

Climate change deniers will be prosecuted.

Conservatives will routinely be assaulted in public.

Clinton will seize your guns:

“So I’m going to speak out. I’m going to do everything I can to rally people against this pernicious, corrupting influence of the NRA, and we’re going to do whatever we can. I’m proud when my husband took them on and we were able to ban assault weapons but he had to put a sunset on it so, 10 years later, of course, Bush wouldn’t agree to reinstate them. We’ve got to go after this. Here again, the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment and I am going to make that case every chance I get.”

And they’ve told us how it will go down:

If your goal is an outright gun ban, you need to use terms such as “common sense gun legislation” to fool the public, a Hillary Clinton campaign delegate admitted in a recent undercover sting video released exclusively to Infowars.

“Saying you want to ban guns altogether, that’s going to piss everybody off,” the Clinton alternate delegate, Mary Bayer, told a Project Veritas reporter.

Instead, Bayer revealed, Democrats use “moderate” language when it comes to guns to obscure their true purpose, a complete elimination of the Second Amendment.

“You have to take that sort of moderate… ‘We just wanna have common sense legislation so our children are safe!’” Bayer told the reporter, adding, “You say shit like that, and then people will buy into it.”

Bayer also admitted Hillary “for sure” would support banning guns, and said the only way to actualize that goal would be to “get Democrats in office.”

But before that a gun owner database will be established and all legal owners will be tracked. That’s actually happening now.

If it sounds over the top, remember- who’s going to stop her? Who has stopped obama? obama ignores Supreme Court decisions.  Clinton’s likely to be nominating several to SCOTUS and will be choosing from a Who’s Who of progressives. Nothing will be found unconstitutional. Illegals will be given the right to vote the second they cross the border. What are now progressive aspirations will become realities.

The GOP will disappear. America will be a one party country, just like Russia. This country will not be recognizable.

All thanks to Donald Trump.

Trump’s fault? For beating the Candidates “we” didn’t vote for? Congress should have Impeached O, the AG, IRS and VA heads. If Colin Powell did what she did why wasn’t he investigated by the FBI. If Trump loses it’s because we didn’t vote, didn’t vote for him or voted for her. For every reason you give, none are Trumps. Its not his to lose, but ours to Win!! Vote Trump.

It always amazes me that when you list the problems that are coming our way and you involve Trump in the problem, all you get back is, “It’s not Trumps fault.” No, it’s not. It’s the fault of the people who were dumb enough to vote for a guy that can’t wait to get his finger on the nuclear button and who considers Putin a good friend. Who thinks a strong arm and a clutched fist is a great way to run a country. Trump has no idea what he’s doing and like Obama will listen to no one. A man who thinks he knows it all and that is the only person who can fix it, is a dangerous man indeed.
But never mind, he’s not Hillary. And trust me, if Hillary get’s in so will those Dems running for office because most people vote straight ticket.
The ignorance being shown by Americans today when it comes to politics is astounding. Trump is the Republican nominee not because of his great ideas, most stolen from other candidates but because his followers want revenge. They want to tear it all down regardless of what replaces it. History has clearly shown those willing to notice that tearing down doesn’t always mean rebuilding the way you think it will be rebuilt. I suggest Russian as an example. Unfortunately Hillary will become President because the Republicans in power refuse to stop the damage Trump is doing and because he seems to be going out of his way to see that she succeeds.

All thanks to Donald Trump

the author is a nut job, and there is no polite way to say it. Trump only ran an election, and has ZERO responsibility to that list and long line of things.

if you want to really know who to “blame” start with the PRESS, the Oligarchs, the CFR/Trilateral commission/bilderburgs, Soros, the Clintons, and a whole lot more – with a HUGE thanks to the colleges teaching the wonderful future of communism…. so much so they elected a president whose major advisor and controller is from a long line of communist family members investigated by the FBI, his mentor was a man whose associates attempted to rob a brinks truck to start a race war and several are in prison for killing police and have new muslim names.

how is trump responsible for all that?
and you have no idea what he will or wont do in office
in fact, your whole knowlege of him is directly given to you by the same liberal press that fawns over the clintons, and ignored the communism of Obama…

author is Bat Sh*t Crazy

@Naomi Stan: History has clearly shown those willing to notice that tearing down doesn’t always mean rebuilding the way you think it will be rebuilt. I suggest Russian as an example.

except that commrade hillary is not capitalist trump, and your delsusional if you think he is going to give up his billions to be a communist with nada and become a war monger.

I suggest Russian as an example.
[Russia is a country, Russian is a language – and their issue has always been a comfort for despotism that goes back over 1000 years]

I suggest the example of the unites states, the british, the french, the germans, japan, slovakia, czech republic, italy, and a long long list of others whose changes were the ones that allowed the US to rmain standing still for you to make stupid comments with no basis but your assumptions, and those assumptions actually go against the history of trump and his life

like your comment on the nuclear thing…

Donald Trump, speaking with a “foreign policy expert,” repeatedly asked “why can’t we use nuclear weapons.”

your contention is that if someone says, why cant we use chemical weapons, they want to use chemical weapons, and not want to hear the explanation from the brains as to why we cant… ie. you HAVE to ignore the face value of it, and add to it a implication and mental motive that is not supported by asking a question.

dont you get that?

the OTHER side of the coin is the positive effect that putting opposition off balance has in the game.

if the opposition knows you have a gun, but ALSO knows you would never use it, then what protections does having a gun afford against them? do you not realize that by not implying the use of these weapons, they become useless in their purpose?

same with NATO… if there is absolutely NO FEAR of it dissolving and no fear of the obligation moving away from the US, then how do you negotiate their paying the US for the guard duty we provide and enable their socialist states by saving them the money on military expenses?

then there is the issue that you and other idiots think that politicians are going to tell you their honest opinions and show you all their cards as if you are one of 300 million cabinet members and that once the liberal press filters get done, you have yrou finger on the pulse of a candidate that you have not met, do not know and only know through the liberal press you have also said is crap…

I don’t want to take cards off the table. I would never do that. The last person to press that button would be me. Hey, I’m the one that didn’t want to go into Iraq from the beginning. The last person that wants to play the nuclear card believe me is me. But you can never take cards off the table either from a moral stand — from any standpoint and certainly from a negotiating standpoint. Trump

right. when negotiating, the whole thing is on the table else you have NO LEVERAGE in the deal… the whole ability to deal and to get the best terms relies on the opposition not being sure you wont do something they dont like…

maybe thats why he has billions and the average person cant get 500 dollars shaved off their used car prices…

What a cheery and positive post! Doomed we are doomed there is no hope!
Dr John there are many fewer snowflakes than you think. Far fewer destroyers than those that would roll up sleeves and rebuild, true good leadership would help. It is unfortunate the primary voters were swayed by media hype to believe Don had what it took to be a leader, lately he just looks like he needs a good spanking. But we can try to put him in office…then what? He is used to total power, he cant fire elected people that dont do as he orders, this is not Dons natural environment. We need a statesman not a business owner to heal the wounds inflicted by 8 years of progressives on steroids. Impeach the first Black President no they were never going down in history as doing that. The judicial branch just abetted his lawlessness by “interpretation”.
This Election is lost, or so it seems, The electronic voting machines coming from Soros owned companies, Whistle blowers considered bigger criminals than the crimes they expose. http://www.inquisitr.com/3022058/election-board-scandal-21-bernie-votes-were-erased-and-49-hillary-votes

Make celebrations KWANKAA’CINO DEMAYO,EARTHDAY Etc into national holidays after they have eliminated the 4th of July,Momorial Day’veterans Day,Mothers Day,Fathers Day,Easter & Christmas

Stop reading and believing what the LSM is reporting. They are part of the hildebeast’s campaign advisors. One little note-look at the attendance at Trump’s rallies against those of the hildebeast. That’s a poll to look at. These 1000-1600 person polls are so easy to rig it is not funny and when you look at who is running them, that answers the question. The libs have been working on putting an alinskyite into the White House. Obozo got there but was too incompetent to finish the destruction of our country. Soros needed someone else and is spending all he can to put her in. Remember the Secretary of State project soros ran? He is counting on massive vote fraud (like in 2012) to do the job. He is counting on using the media to foster discontent in the Republicans…and it is working.

You obviously are unaware that his son said that they are getting large amounts of money from their Russian business interest. As for NATO, since when do you ask a friend to pay up in order to get your help. My husband flew with the national guard during 9/11 with 24 years as a pilot in the Air Force and every NATO country that had an air force came to our aid that day and for weeks after, flying over our bases in other countries, helping out by flying coastline duty in the states, and in many other ways. Not once did any of them ask to be repaid. Yes we spend a great deal of money protecting other countries, and many times they could be more forthcoming, but I would rather know they have our backs than wonder if they’ll even bother. If you want to save money how about looking at our welfare system, our immigration system, all the money wasted in Washington but Trump said NATO so their the new boogie man.
As for were I get my information, the same places you do. I read. Today it looks like Hillary will sweep everything in site. So where is Trump? He’s out telling people not to vote for our candidates. Don’t be surprised if within the next few weeks he comes out and tells people not to vote for any of the down ballot candidates because they’re disloyal. He’s already said he didn’t care if we lost the Senate. And why would he say that? Because according to Trump think they refuse to back him. If Hillary does sweep the election and she gets the Senate all hope of a free America is gone. But that’s all right. Trump will fix it. Oh, and by the way, he’s lost over 20% of his business traffic since running. If he starts losing too much money he’ll walk away and never look back. But gosh, I’m just an unreasonable Constitutional Christian conservative, what do I know.

FAKE REPUBLICANS FOR HILLARY
The defection of fake Republicans will make the party more conservative.

Daniel Greenfield destroys the story Hillary’s team had put out via social media to whit that Republicans are for Hillary.
People here swore they wanted the GOP to be ”more conservative.”
So, they should be happy.

Over and over, during the primaries, we saw unenlightened self-interest costing every other candidate except Donald Trump.
Experts warned, too many candidates would dilute the ”anti-Trump vote,” so he would win early contests.
And that’s what happened.
Then, after the field thinned out, those same experts encouraged out-spending Donald Trump with negative ads by pooling PAC money (it ended up in Kasich’s PAC).
But that didn’t work.
Pollsters then tried to trick Donald Trump into focusing on FLA when he should have been in Ohio.
Now, that worked, but he wasn’t ever fooled by push polls or skewed polls ever again.
Next experts warned, too late, that the final candidates all had to drop out except for one.
But those egos could not accept it, so they refused.
And, again, Donald Trump won.
When the rigging of the Bernie Sanders primaries became clear, and the delegate trickery in the GOP was exposed, Donald Trump advised his supporters that cheating only could work IF the last primaries were close.
If they were landslides then cheating would have had to have been blatant.
So, those final primaries were landslides.

Let’s skip over the RNC drama.
Here we are with a Trump/Clinton match up.
Does the past act as prologue?
Yes it does.
What can you discern from how Donald Trump won the nomination?
One thing: he can roll with the punches.
Now Hillary punches differently from Trump’s fellow Republicans.
But they are still simply election ploys.

Fact is, look at the support.
Hillary Clinton has fewer supporters who show up and who hand over cash.
She has a rich machine because of big donors.
But each donor has only one vote.
She pulled in $90 million from big donors last month while her ”rallies” had, at most 400 people.
Donald Trump pulled in $80 million last month, mostly small donations while his rallies were standing room only, overflow rooms also filled and outdoor crowds accommodated with loud speakers.
Hillary has had only a few small rallies.
Donald Trump has one, sometimes two a day and they are huge.

Ask yourself: is there going to be another terrorist attack between now and the election in November?
There have been more than one a week in the West for some time now, so, chances are there will be.
Who is favored by that?
Who got big bounces after San Bernadino, after Orlando, After Nice, France?
Who was hurt by those attacks.

1 million seems 50k just ANOTHER drop in bucket uncounted coming from southern border and dropped at bus stations to vanish into the populus. Oh I am going to vote I wish there was someone to vote for rather than against.
We needed Walker here, there are still issues to solve at State level. The John Doe case still is being ridden by the Madison and Milwaukee libs. I am a bit miffed at Trumps lying liberal attack on him.

@DrJohn: Doc, now we all have to vote the new dictator in right? A guy that has every single personality disorder we hated in Obama, only our fella is very vocal at Bashing Conservatives and the RNC, not so much getting organized, getting familiar with Hilliarys crimes and manipulated election results. He already has his loser excuses in place rigged elections you know. And the media eats it up then pukes it out over and over and the other lower forms of media eat that puke and puke that out, we knew this would happen, we knew, yup just as we knew Clinton would not face justice. And her saying she was found innocent http://hotair.com/archives/2016/08/05/tapper-oops-hillary-did-it-again/ they will believe her lies by election day, because Trump does not have the skills or desire to right the record.
DOWN BALLOT VOTE FOR ETHICS, HONESTY, CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVES, this is not a we win with Trump situation, for those with eyes wide shut.

@kitt:
I HAVE worked for congress races in the past only to be stabbed in the back by those same “conservative” people. Trump is not the crazy man the lsm is making him out to be. He is not part of the establishment, democrat and republican, that doesn’t give a damn about the people. I want an outsider to look at things from a business point of view. I supported Romney and he had no balls against obozo.
Let’s try something different. Taking Congress OBVIOUSLY has made no difference whatsoever against the fool in the White House as they just roll over and set up a meaningless hearing. You can keep on thinking about the down ticket races but remember the definition of insanity.

The America I knew is already gone. The federal government is as corrupt as any third-world nation governent can be.

All that’s left is who is going to take it farther away from what I grew up with that fastest (or slowest – I hold no hope for it ever returning).

@Bookdoc: Lower than federal State and Local elections. Holding our local Pols to account weeding out corruption from the REAL grass root level, Walker did not accept Federal Obama-Care dollars, a few States told him to shove it. Forcing the SCOTUS to say the word State really meant Federal, a dictionary please. Or are you saying there is no hope at all, just sit home and accept the demise of our Republic? F-that. If you dont recognize the crazy that is Trump not paying attention to what the lying media says but pulling up his speeches unedited on u-tube, comparing his “suggestions” to his platform today. I will Vote, my one stinky little vote isn’t an answer to the corruption, I cant rah rah for a mad man. I watched a mad man for near 8 years destroy the republic.

@DrJohn: Rein them back into the constitutional limits they were suppose to abide by. What we have had for a long time was a special legislating unelected branch of the USA much like our agencies just making up rules willy-nilly.

Yes yes
it is all coming I am afraid that all your deepest fears are becoming realities

@kitt:
Here’s the deal-if the hildebeast gets in, her Supreme Court appointments (due to the usual republican establishment just rolling over) will make any local stuff meaningless. IF you help put her In by not supporting Trump, you will be as guilty as the dimocrats for the destruction of our country. Sorry-that’s just how I see it.

One other note on a comment in the article-I live with 6 Shelties and, while they are smart, they could not run a campaign unless it involved treats!

@Bookdoc: OMG Doc you have 6 Hillarys JK.
I know but it is more than the SCOTUS at stake, I wait and watch will vote the best candidate to keep Hillary the liar and murderess out of the White House.
The Rinos and Dems have the same agenda so only new fresh faces in house and Senate, unless their voting record earns my vote.

@kitt:
6 hillarys? No, my dogs are much nicer and they are mostly honest (except where treats are concerned).

@Bookdoc: Hell my dogs would show a burgler where the valuables were and give the combination to the safe for a chunk of cheese, a hot dog….omg.

@kitt:
🙂

@John:

Crooked Hillary Clinton banned white reporters at her first press conference in over 200 days.

What does that mean? She is clearly a racist. Is that what the country needs? and as you said:

The America I knew is already gone. The federal government is as corrupt as any third-world nation governent can be.

A good description of the government under the Dimocrats for the last 8 years. Kinda surprised you acknowledged the terrible job Obozo has done.

They are desperate for a fresh face- someone to represent them and not Wall St and billionaires.

And yet they can be convinced that something like the Citizens United decision, which essentially takes any cap off how much money the biggest-money special interests can expend to influence politics, is somehow a protection of the individual citizen’s power and freedom of speech. In my view, the fact that money buys political power, which can then be used to acquire more money is the fundamental flaw that threatens the American dream.

I have trouble understanding such apparent contradictions.

@DrJohn:

If Trump had won, they would be conservative. Hitlary will choose “progressives”. i.e. socialists in drag.

Did I miss something? Who got elected? I believe the election is in November.

@kitt:

The Rinos and Dems have the same agenda so only new fresh faces

But you don’t think this applies to the White House?

The America I knew has been gone for the last 25 years.

I see zero evidence that the feckless wimps who ran for the Republican nomination would do anything to stop this, and if they COULD, they wouldn’t achieve anything.

That this is all going to be Trump’s fault is, frankly, a disconnect. The fault is with the Democratic party, that long ago decided power was EVERYTHING, and to hold its coalition together it had to focus on a few specific social issues–they bet their party on voters’ emotions, and they won.

It’s also with the Republicans, who did nothing to respond to the IRS and other crimes mentioned, because they want Chris Matthews to like them more than they want their consituents’ rights protected.

Trump is not responsible, but he’s easier to attack than the scared R’s and power-hungry D’s.

@Greg: .

In my view, the fact that money buys political power,

So, you’re saying Trump will win because he has the most money?

@Redteam: Yes old bag Hill has had her time there. Had to return the items stolen when she was evicted. Petty heft really only 200k worth of Tax payer owned items.

@kitt: Sounds like Grand Larceny. Wonder if she really wanted that stuff or just wanted to sell them to raise cash. Stole the keypads off the computers also. I think that was just the ‘being a pain in the *ss ” thing though. After all, What difference does it make?

@S. Hancock: #31
S.Hancock, you’re right on that, and as hard it is to believe, the socialist media can write about and demean extremes in crony-capitalism like this one in Brazil, but they have to tow the socialist line in America and ignore the corruption.

Willful stupidity is pathetic.

@Greg:

In my view, the fact that money buys political power, which can then be used to acquire more money is the fundamental flaw that threatens the American dream.

If that is your view, then, you logically oppose Obama and Clinton…good to see you’ve come to your senses.

@Redteam: -ho uses the W key any-ay?
he final, official report from the Government Accounting Office was released on June 11, 2002. The 220 page document says there was damage, The GAO says the damage included 62 missing computer keyboards, 26 cell phones, two cameras, ten antique doorknobs and several presidential medallions and office signs. The damage estimate was about $20,000. Clinton critics say the report proves that the departing Clinton staff members acted recklessly and disrespectfully.
Doorknobs lol

@kitt: Not me. -hy?

Dr. John, after reading your article, my first thought was, “Do I slit my wrists now or later?”
I think you need to take a mental health break. Go completely off line for 3 or 4 days, don’t even listen to the news. It will do you a world of good. Do anything you enjoy. All this crap will still be here but you might have some hope when you return. It worked for me a few weeks ago. When it feels all is lost, think of Winston Churchill.

It’s not Donald Trump’s fault. It’s the GOP voters’ fault.

You all had a bunch of acceptable, sane candidates, most notably Bush and Kasich.

But you all went overwhelmingly for Trump.

Trump immediately rocketed to the top of the dog pile, when he said, of Mexicans: “They’re not good people; they’re criminals … rapists.”

And with that one speech, he closed the deal. The rest was simply taking care of the details.

You all chose him as your nominee. The other side chose Hillary. Each side got what it deserved.

Pogo: We have met the enemy and it is us.

You all are never going to get your way. You’ve lost minorities, millennials, and women. It’s only going to get worse and worse for you until you get a major attitude overhaul and accept the necessity of political compromise and working across the aisle.

You could have gotten major concessions in the Affordable Care Act. You could have had a solid, thoughtful SCOTUS moderate. Now you are going to end up with more than one and possibly 3 or 4 young liberals, in revenge for your obstinance.

Self inflicted wounds. I don’t exactly feel your pain.

@Larry Weisenthal:
You’ve got to be a democrat if you think bush and Kasich were acceptable candidates-they’re bot the worst sort of RINO. And I live in Ohio!

In 10 years probably half of the old embittered posters here will also be dead
Conservatives are dying off rather fast
They don’t seem to realize that they are a small voting minority and must compromise to achieve anything. They believe that because they are “right” they should always get what they want.
Sorry guys, democracy doesn’t work like that
The Executive Branch is one of three equal components of our government. The Congress which is controlled by the GOP has an approval rating in the teens, about 1/3 that of Obama’s
The economy ??? That crashed horribly under Bush, and now the GOP is saying that after drunk driving that car into the ditch they think the Dems aren’t doing a good enough job of pulling it out ?

@Bookdoc:

You’d really prefer Clinton to Bush or Kasich? Did you ever hear of not letting the perfect being the enemy of the good?

Would you prefer “horrible”
to “fair?”

Here’s the deal. Yes, I’m a Democrat. I’d consider Clunton to be “good,” and Bush/Kasich to be “minimally acceptable.” I consider Trump horrible.

I’d wager that you consider Clinton horrible and Bush/Kasich to be “minimally acceptable.”

So we could both live with “minimally acceptable.”

That’s the secret to winning elections (and getting along with our fellow humans.)

🙂

– Larry Weisenthal/Huntington Beach

@Bookdoc:
Book Doc your refusal to compromise puts you in a position of having zero influence in our government.
Now perhaps if you were in the majority you might find that an effective tactic.
But you aren’t in the majority, apparently not even in the majority of the minority party.
And quite frankly I also find shelties to be amongst THE most annoying of all breeds.

@john: There is a word for someone that does like ALL dogs..I think its Prick.
I am sure you are some dog judge Westminster level and quite familiar with the traits of all of the breeds.
