The left just keeps giving us reasons to vote for Trump

trump shrug

Donald Trump is closing in on Hillary Clinton in the nationwide Presidential race. It is true that a lot of people tell you not to support Donald Trump, but the left keeps giving us reason after reason to vote for him and it is becoming quite amusing. Let’s have a look.

Treatment of women by Trump

The NY Times took a shot at Trump on this and missed big time. One of the authors is recognized as biased against Trump.

The story did wind up shining a positive light on Trump:

Ms. Sunshine worked for Mr. Trump for 15 years, becoming a major New York real estate figure in her own right. Ms. Res remained at the company for 12 years, left after a disagreement over a project and then returned as a consultant for six more years. Both expressed gratitude for the chances Mr. Trump had taken on them.

The authors had part of their story blow up in their faces. Alleged victim Rowanne Brewer said of Trump:

“I did not have a negative experience with Donald Trump”

Temple Taggart claims that Trump once kissed her on the lips. Trump denies it, but even if he had, one would hope that Gloria Steinem would say that Trump was entitled to a “freebie” as she said of Clinton’s groping Kathleen Willey.

Any attempt at shaming Trump for his alleged actions toward women will automatically trigger comparisons to Bill Clinton’s abuse of women- and Hillary’s defense of her husband’s actions. Nothing Trump has done compares to the allegation that Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broaddrick.

Now we learn that Bill Clinton was more of a frequent flier on the Jeffrey Epstein’s Lolita Express – 26 times– than was previously known. That has yet to be explained.

We have yet to hear Trump or his staff refer to any women as “trailer park trash” as did the Clinton spokespersons. We have not heard these woman described as “bimbo eruptions.”

“Trump has all the answers”

Former Secretary of Defense Bob Gates recently said that Trump thinks he has all the answers:

“He seems to think that he has all the answers and that he doesn’t need any advice from staff or anybody else,” Gates said on “Face the Nation” on CBS. “And that he knows more about these things than anybody else and doesn’t really feel the need to surround himself with informed advisers.”

How is that different from obama? It’s not.

Former Defense Secretaries Robert Gates and Leon Panetta have joined in accusing President Obama and the White House National Security Council staff (NSC) of micromanaging the military to the point of attempting to set up direct lines of communication to combatant commanders.

“It was micromanagement that drove me crazy,” Gates said at the Reagan National Defense Forum at President Ronald Reagan’s library in California over the weekend.

Gates said he had to deal with members of the NSC staff who directly called four-star generals on matters of strategy and tactics. The White House also attempted to make direct contact with Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), Gates said.

“I told JSOC if they got a call from the White House you tell them to go to hell and call me,” Gates said to a round of applause from the audience.

Gates said the Obama White House too often let politics influence the policy when it came to the Defense Department.

“Trump will act like a dictator” We already have a dictator.

“Trump is a liar.” America apparently likes a liar.

Obama LIED Repeatedly In His State of The Union. Here Are His Top 10.

1,063 Documented Examples of Barack Obama’s Lying, Lawbreaking, Corruption, Cronyism, Hypocrisy, Waste, Etc.

Trump changes his mind

Trump’s positions change? Remember Hillary being “adamantly” against illegal immigrants?

We’ve got to do several things and I am, you know, adamantly against illegal immigrants. I made this exception basically on humanitarian grounds because of the individual story but certainly we’ve got to do more at our borders. And people have to stop employing illegal immigrants. Come up to Westchester, go to Suffolk and Nassau counties, stand in the street corners in Brooklyn or the Bronx – you’re going to see loads of people waiting to get picked up to go do yard work and construction work and domestic work.”

Want more Hillary flip flops? Here and here.

In 2008 Obama promised, well, pretty much the opposite of everything he says today, but you’ll find a lot of his reversals here here, here and here.

Now we come to my favorite- false promises

Juan Williams: Trump, false promises and the economy

False promises? Did he say false promises?

“If you like your health insurance plan, you can keep it”
“If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”
Obamacare will save you “about $2,500 per year.”
“The NSA is not abusing its power”
” If you make less than $250,000 per year you won’t pay one penny more in taxes.”

ISIS is the “JV”

Obama mocked Trump for not “keeping it real.”  Obama has been about as far from “keeping it real” as one can get.

And wait….what? Hillary would put Bill in charge of the economy? Seriously? After nearly destroying the United States economy with his disastrous policies that allowed big banks to deceive investors and pressuring smaller banks to make as many bad loans as they could she’s going to put him in charge again???? Did she just admit that she can’t handle the job?

Sorry, lefties, no matter what you try to throw at Trump- treatment of women, lying, flip-flopping, false promises- you’ve already supported it. None of any of that behavior disabused you of your sycophantic support of obama and Clinton. None of it should have any effect on Trump either. Nothing that Trump has done comes close to abuse heaped on women by the Clinton’s. Nothing sticks to Trump because democrats have done it all. They’ve endorsed it all.

Bill Clinton has pocketed $3 million in bribes “speaking fees” since Hillary formally announced her candidacy. More correctly, THEY as a couple have pocketed $3 million since she announced her candidacy. THEY made $48 million in speaking fees when she was Secretary of State. They file Federal income taxes jointly. It’s her money as much as it is his money. This is something that no one ever mentions. Were she President they would continue to send Bill out to collect cash in return for US “favors” as they have done for the last 16 years.

So here’s the bottom line. Trump is the candidate, like it or not. Trump may be a wild card, but he doesn’t need any more money. The Clinton’s are execrable people who will do absolutely anything for a dollar. We may not necessarily know what Trump would be but we definitely know what she would be. More than anything, I don’t want that.

Yup So sad we are going to replace a liar with a liar a fraud with a fraud.
You embrace Donald Trump, you embrace it all. You embrace every slur, every insult, every outrage, every falsehood. You’re going to spend the next six months defending, rationalizing, evading all that. And afterwards, you come back to women, to minorities, to young people and say, that wasn’t us. That’s not what we’re about. The reality is, if you support him to be president of the United States, that is who you are, and you own it.
And then can we bash it when you knew he was a snake when you took him in?
Remember those choices we had before this dark hour
Walker, Perry, Rubio, Cruz. Hours after Kasich decided his job was done Trump gave up on his Tax plan, he couldn’t care less if pervs get into bathrooms, and his other ways to pander to the voters are just suggestions.
Unity what a wonderful word, often used in marriage ceremonies, the state of being in full agreement, I so feel like being the runaway bride, its not just his small hands, many men wish to leave Trump waiting at the alter as well. Really its not you, its me, ok I admit it it is you, you suck.
Oh but the horror of Hillary and Bill could the USA stand 4 or 8 more years of liberal rule? Wheres the guarantee it wont be that way with Trump? There are articles out there that say Trump must lose and lose badly to teach you trumpists a lesson,(it may happen) I dont like that plan. Third Party, ahhh pffft.
That leaves me undecided the lesser of two evils is still evil .
One thing for sure if Trump tries anything like the current Prez is pulling he will be the second impeached President in my lifetime, hope he picks a good VP that could soften the blow.

Temple Taggart claims that Trump once kissed her on the lips. Trump denies it, but even if he had, one would hope that Gloria Steinem would say that Trump was entitled to a “freebie” as she said of Clinton’s groping Kathleen Willey.

Note, she only claimed this now.
She never claimed it before.
LOOK how she gushed over Dnald Trump back in 1997 when she was Miss Utah:
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/541972/MISS-UTAH-TRUMPETING-OVER-TRUMPS-ATTENTION.html?pg=all
No mention of an unwanted kiss back then!

So, why now?

The LDS church, of which Miss Temple T. is a member has it in for Trump.
They wanted Cruz to take all 40 of their delegates so they cheated.
All who tried and failed to vote electronically were told they could NOT come vote in person because there was no way to verify if their vote online had succeeded or not.
BUT, election night those same Mormons started grabbing names of those who had not shown up and voted, grabbed ballots and simply padded Cruz’s totals. They had ”cover” when a person came into each precinct room and said the people whose online votes were attempted could vote in person and all online votes were being thrown out! But those actual voters were not the ones casting ballots!
It was the old Mormon men who know best.
A Cruz win as predicted of 52% wouldn’t garner all the delegates, so they bumped the tally up to 80%.

Now these Deep Red Republican Mormons are telling their followers that ”better Bernie or Hillary than Trump.”
And now this Mormon found Donald Trump to be offensive.
But not back then.
I don’t buy it anymore than Mormon Harry Reid’s lies on the Senate floor.

Gates might say that, but the truth is pretty different…….
Trump had promised to hire the world’s brightest minds to make up for his lack of political experience.
Gen. Keith Kellogg is a retired Army lieutenant general who helped run the coalition provisional authority in Iraq from 2003 to 2004.
George Papadopoulos is a senior consultant at the Hudson Institute think tank in Washington, DC and the initiator of the first conference on US- Israel-Greece-Cyprus geopolitical developments.
Walid Phares is an American citizen and a Christian Maronite of Lebanese origin. He was born on December 24, 1957, grew up in Beirut, and emigrated to the United States in 1990. He holds undergraduate degrees in law, political science, and sociology from Saint Joseph University and the Lebanese University in Beirut. Phares practiced law in Beirut for a period of time, then went on to obtain a master’s degree in international law from the Université de Lyon in France and a PhD in international relations and strategic studies from the University of Miami.
Between 1979 and 2014 he has published 12 books.
Corey Lewandowski is Trump’s (vindicated) campaign manager. He previously worked on the U.S. Senate campaign for Bob Smith (R-N.H.) and spent six years with Americans for Prosperity, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization focused on limited government. Prior to that he was the legislative political director for the Republican National Committee. Yeah, that RNC.
Paul Manafort is Trump’s campaign strategist.
Prior to Trump he worked for Ford, Reagan, George HW Bush and Dole.
Stephen Miller, a trusted aide to Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, joined Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, serving as a senior policy adviser to the Republican front-runner.
He advises on the economic and border/immigration issues.

And these were just a few.
There are many more.
If you look them up you’ll notice the abundance of grey hair.
Compare that with Obama’s 20 and 30 something’s who advise him.

http://www.businessinsider.com/robert-gates-obama-egypt-ben-rhodes-2016-1

Liberals only have a problem with lies when their offense can be used for a political purpose. They don’t mind abuse of women as long as liberal icon is getting his nut on it. They don’t mind accumulating huge wealth as long as it is theirs and dodging taxes is just fine if they are doing it.

Trump’s ego assures he will strive for success; unlike Obama, it will not be enough to simply be able to blame someone else for the failure caused by his ideological pursuits. Success makes him look good while failure makes him look bad… you know, kind of like the real world.

So, I would not expect Trump to micromanage things out of his field of expertise and I would fully expect him to reward failure, not with retirement and full pension, but with being sacked. People under him will be pushed to succeed as well.

I hope all the unicorn farts are true I can almost smell them. There are unions Trump has to deal with just cannot sack someone that works for the guvmint today. They have become used to being lazy and rewarded for piss poor behavior, bonuses for all.
And you can even die and still the checks keep on rolling in http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/09/23/federal-government-retirement_n
He wont be the ultimate boss man like in private life, he can surround himself with RINO and RINO surrogates then blame them and being the ultimate victim claim unfairness. Call them all lying _____. It will become the new its Bushes fault mantra.
The one we roll our eyes at and ask are you ever going to take some responsibility ???!
The Crystal ball is getting cloudy now … For another 100 bucks I may be able to see more.. 😉

If (or most likely when) this politically corrupt DOJ gives Hillary a free ride for blatantly breaking the laws regarding her illegally storing, receiving, and transmitting classified documents on her unclassified email server and telling others to disregard the laws pertaining to the transmission of classified material as well, Trump (and the rest of the Republican Party for that matter) will have a huge campaign issue. It’ll fit right into Trump trying to portray himself as the outsider taking on the politically corrupt DC establishment. He’ll point to this travesty of justice and tell everyone that it’s time the political elite in DC are held to the same standards as everyone else because they are not above the law. He can promise that, if elected, his DOJ will uphold the law and indict Hillary.

Another issue lying on the backburner is the way our Sailors were treated at the hands of the Iranians. If details are “leaked” or someone sues under the FOIA to get them released, that will play right into Trump’s hands as well.

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2016/05/rep_classified_details_of_irans_treatment_of_captured_us_sailors_will_shock_the_nation.html

For all of you Obama sheep out there, if Trump gets elected, you will have given him to us.

@kitt: There are unions Trump has to deal with

Yes.
In CA the SEIU members sued the union leaders so that each union member could assign which political party gets their union dues that go to political parties.
Used to be that 100% of SEIU’s political donations went Democrat.
Not anymore.
31% of those dues’ donations are now going to the CA GOP.
When Donald Trump was introduced in Berlingame, CA the top 5 donors were noted for recognition.
# 5 on the list is the SEIU!

Then there’s:
https://www.facebook.com/teamsterunited4trump/
The 1.4 million-member International Brotherhood of Teamsters announced its executive council would put off a decision on a presidential endorsement due a lack of consensus. Fox News reported that the delay was caused partly by members’ support for Trump.

And these guys:
Chris Shelton, president of the 600,000-member Communication Workers of America, told Politico that his union was putting off a presidential endorsement. “If our members come out with Donald Trump, then we’re going to endorse Donald Trump.”

BTW, Trump (like Ronald Reagan before him) is a card-carrying union member himself, having joined the Screen Actors Guild.

@Nanny G: You bet the unions and their members are waking up to the destructive liberal policies. Seeing Hillary booed and saluted by the coal miners was sooo much fun. Trying to garner support with her BOGO Clinton deal may actually appeal to the stupidest democraps or those that were really impressed with his military prowess in 1993 it so reflects Bengahzi, she learns well. But I am sure she can best this :http://ashbrook.org/publications/onprin-v4n6-mayer/

@Nanny G: #4
“Trump had promised to hire the world’s brightest minds to make up for his lack of political experience.”
It’s more than just a promise. Mr. Trump has a long history of doing exactly that, which is one of the reasons for his success.
No, he doesn’t believe that he knows more than anyone else about everything.
He believes in hiring people who do, and listening to them!
But Liberals think that when he’s President, he’ll stop doing that. For some reason that only makes sense to a Liberal.

@kitt: #6
They’re not unicorn farts, Kitt. They’re reality.
If you would read the truth about Mr. Trump’s history and past actions, instead of blindly believing what his enemies say about him, you would see that.
A higher percentage of his executives are female than just about any other Fortune 500 company.
Many of the people who have worked for him have gone on to successful careers of their own, often with his help.
Very few people who actually know him, employees, business partners or former employees have anything negative to say about him. What’s the worst thing in this article? That he may have kissed one woman? Hang the bastard!
The people who are most vicious in their comments about Mr. Trump are those who have no real knowledge of him.
But those are the ones that you are listening to, Kitt, and you’re ignoring the people who actually know him. I don’t understand you.

@Petercat: Cat ,dearest, we have been told that his past actions and words were yesterdays DT and today have no basis in reality, ie his stance on partial birth abortion, working mothers, even breast feeding. We have gone back and forth enough for you to know my stance, I haven’t changed. But have I told an untruth about Trump?
I am just like the mommy that knows once this one you want gets into your pants you are yesterdays conquest, and no call 4 a prom date for you.

I’m not talking about his words, I’m talking about his actions, about the very consistent way that he’s always treated people, including women.
Try addressing that. And not with little sound bites or rare snippets that can be made to look bad.
Address the way he has behaved for the last thirty years or so. Address the fact that very few of the people who actually know the man will say anything bad about him. Address his reputation in the business world for honesty, integrity and helping others to start and be successful in their own businesses!
Address his ACTIONS, Kitt. I’m getting sick and tired of hearing people whine about “Well, he said this once”, or “He said that once”. The best way to judge someone is by examining their actions over a number of years, and you and the other anti-trumps are so blinded by hate that you won’t do that. I don’t even think that you can anymore, because if you did, you might find out that you are wrong. And like small children, you can’t ever admit that, can you?
And no, Kitt, Mr. Trump most emphatically does NOT abandon the people who help and support him. His record, which you are so anxious to ignore in favor of your fantasy, is of continuing to help them, even after they are no longer working for him.
So your prom date fantasy is just that – a fantasy.

@Petercat: lol No son of mine will double date with that boy! He can only give you a reputation. He actually knows that Jeffrey Epstein.
What hes done not what he says, this PC about DT is getting confusing. He has hired illegals, he has his clothing line made over seas, sold his name for a fraudulent college. What great thing has this wildly wealthy man done for America? The koch brothers have funded real colleges, hospitals and have loads of employees every time I watch NOVA they are mentioned.
Trump is the least generous billionaire http://newsexaminer.net/politics/donald-trump-the-least-charitable-billionair
I keep looking for the glittering facet you see and I find nothing.
I respect your right to vote for whom you wish.
But get ready what I can most easily find the clinton Machine will find worse much much worse.
I dont hate Trump, who is being blinded by refusing to see if he is lying or exaggerating?

I give up, Kitt. I give up on you and everyone else here who hates Donald Trump. None of you will address anything that I or any other Trump Realist say, you just reply with more accusations.
No, Donald Trump is not perfect, yes, he has flaws, but unlike you and the other Trump whiners, I can see the good in the man as well as the bad. All you and the other haters want to do is look at the bad.
We’ll never have a perfect candidate, the last man who was perfect got hung on a cross for his troubles.
By people who hated Him because He made them feel small. Sound familiar?
No, Donald Trump is not perfect, but he’s good enough. And his personal history proves it.
To those who haven’t let hatred and jealousy blind them.

@Petercat: I agree to disagree as I said I dont hate him I just cannot find any reason to vote for him.
Yes tons of reasons to vote against his opponent, big deal, been there done that.
Eat your vegetables 🙂

@kitt: Trump is the least generous billionaire

Not necessarily true.
There are Christians, many of us, in fact, who follow the rule Jesus laid out to ”not let your right hand know what your left hand is doing,” as far as charity is concerned.
That means we don’t REPORT our charitable giving to the GOVERNMENT.
You don’t HAVE to, you know!
Some people do it just to ”toot their horns,” as Jesus rightly pointed out. In his day some of these actually hired men to walk in front of them with horns announcing their arrivals.
Today it is a mention on PBS or a Top Ten listing as one of America’s most charitable billionaires.

I have been quite impressed as some of Donald Trumps quiet giving has surfaced.
Great stories.
A great man who cares about people.

But you will never see that because, again, as Jesus said, you are like the swine that Christians ought not throw pearls in front of.
He’s right, too.
What’s the point?

@Nanny G: DT Just not the type not to toot his horn loud and long.
Matthew 15:11
I am amazed that DT backers just cannot accept that over 50% of us dont see it. They call names, start arguments. We who do not see in DT what they do and very often the exact opposite of what they see. We are not going to be able to explain it.
I dont think we are more conservative, smarter, better, just have a different opinion.
The dictator Obama now tells businesses how to pay their employees.

@kitt: We are not going to be able to explain it.
I dont think we are more conservative, smarter, better, just have a different opinion.

Good for you realizing this.
Now, go back and look at the way you express your attitudes toward those you disagree with.
Like:

Really its not you, its me, ok I admit it it is you, you suck.

And:

Unicorn farts……The Crystal ball is getting cloudy now … For another 100 bucks I may be able to see more..

And:

the stupidest democraps

Also:

I am just like the mommy that knows once this one you want gets into your pants you are yesterdays conquest, and no call 4 a prom date for you.

@Nanny G: Im sorry if I jest or seem to talk down to you, but being sore winners and not leaving well enough alone IS the liberal way, keep jabbing til you think you will break me well thats what you get. I will speak to you as I would a liberal. No I am not leaving you into
my bathroom you got the right to marry Don . Just be happy with your victory quit poking at those that dont share your opinion. Keep jabbing and you will end up with, you break it you bought it, and stand alone in the general without the 70 % that did not vote for DT. It was Donald I was referring to sucking not his followers.
DT SUCKS, he is a great salesman but allows you to paint Make America Great Again into any platform your imagination wants. Intentionally vague on details but its gonna be great! Thats the unicorn fart part of it. I ask and ask but get only he aint Hillary well neither is Soros hes rich too lets elect that freak.
How do you think the moderate dems felt when they got a muslim commie for their vote? Because they painted hope and change as their dreams.
I am really trying, I want to feel good about my vote I search for a reason.
The people on here that call me a liberal a Hillary supporter they dont just do it to my 1 stinky little vote, they are pissing off many many thousands perhaps millions of stinky little votes.

@Petercat:

No, Donald Trump is not perfect, but he’s good enough. And his personal history proves it.

Good enough for who? And if you want to refer to his personal history, then you should also refer to the many issues he has taken a left-wing stance on.

To those who haven’t let hatred and jealousy blind them.

Oh, pardon the heck out of us who don’t buy into the carnival barker’s promise of giving us the greatest show on earth.

@DrJohn: Oh but the horror of Hillary and Bill could the USA stand 4 or 8 more years of liberal rule? Wheres the guarantee it wont be that way with Trump?

Dr John, a better reply would be this.
there are two guns on the table for a game of Soviet Russian Roulette
The gun with Hillary’s name has 6 chambers and 5 bullets
The gun with Trump’s name has 6 chambers and 1 bullet

no, no guarantee… but your odds are a bit better with which gun?

@iretire05: I like your analogy, the greatest show on earth has no more elephants, looks like the liberals have PCed the symbol from our party as well.

The right keeps giving any American who believes in individual freedom reasons to vote every republican out of office at the earliest possible opportunity. November can’t come soon enough.

Oklahoma passes bill effectively banning abortion

Texas GOP OK’s platform calling for halting all abortions, opposing transgender rights

South Carolina passes bill banning abortion after 19 weeks

“I firmly believe life begins at conception and anything we can do to protect human life I’m all for,” said Nanney, R-Greenville.

Wendy Nanney’s beliefs are not the issue. Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms and rights are the issue. The State of South Carolina has no constitutional authority to deprive women of sovereign control over their own bodies and force them to continue unwanted pregnancies in order to comply with Wendy Nanney’s religious beliefs. That sort of crap may fly in theocratic Islamic states, but it doesn’t go over here. Somebody should point that out to the GOP.

Nor does Oklahoma have the constitutional power to force rape victims to give birth to their rapist’s children. If the governor of Oklahoma isn’t a complete idiot, she’ll veto this bill the moment it hits her desk.

@Nanny G:

Today it is a mention on PBS or a Top Ten listing as one of America’s most charitable billionaires.

True, just look at the supposed generosity of Bill Gates. Does he give away billions? I don’t know, but I do know, from what I read about his foundations that manage what he’s giving away, it’s to causes that the world would be much better off without any contributions. I’m not gonna knock a specific one, at this time, but there are many that the world would be better without.
I don’t personally give a flip if anyone gives to charity or not. If they’re doing it for the wrong reason, then it’s a negative. And if they’re doing it and publicizing it, they’re still doing it for the wrong reason. Giving to charity should be between the giver and the tax laws and no one else.

@Petercat:

I give up, Kitt. I give up on you and everyone else here who hates Donald Trump. None of you will address anything that I or any other Trump Realist say, you just reply with more accusations.

So true Cat. So many are so anxious to jump on what they’ve ‘heard’ about Trump. Not actually about what Trump did. Just what they’ve ‘heard’ that he did. God help us, look at what we KNOW about Hillary. Did she, or not, defend her rapist husband? There are so many things about her, it’s not even worth discussing.

No, Donald Trump is not perfect, but he’s good enough.

Let’s face it, the choice is Trump or Hillary. I can’t even imagine the thought process of someone that would choose Hillary as the better person, so I won’t try. But I will say you should be visiting a psychologist or someone to get help, because you have some real ‘reasoning’ problems.
Let’s face it folks, Two names on the ballot. 1 bullet or 5? your choice.

@Greg: Greg, you’re not trying to mislead anyone are you? Has Oklahoma outlawed abortion or has it not? Since you will answer truthfully, then I’ll ask you why you posted a link saying they have? There is not a law in Oklahoma, at this time, that prohibits abortion. To imply there is, is deceitful. Oh, wait, you’re a liberal….ok so you don’t understand the difference.

@Redteam, #27:

Greg, you’re not trying to mislead anyone are you? Has Oklahoma outlawed abortion or has it not?

Read the news report. YES, the Oklahoma bill effectively bans abortion. That’s the intended result, and that’s the effect it will have if it is signed into law, as anyone with a fully functional brain realizes.

Anyone who argues that it doesn’t actually ban abortion, but only makes abortions impossible to legally perform, needs to be smacked up the side of the head with a ballot box to remind them that most voters aren’t really that stupid.

@Greg: It does ban abortion with the exception to save the mother, but it has to go through the senate then get signed by the governor. It is not law yet but the left continues to deny science, that states life begins at conception.
Do we kill children for the crimes of their parents the rape argument is moot, so few of abortions are the result of rape. PP shot itself by breaking the law and selling body parts. Both men and women need to take the proper precautions to prevent unwanted pregnancies, more american children available for adoption would stop the black market foreign baby snatch and sell.
http://www.kradjabeba.org/eng/e_intern.html

Let’s face it, the choice is Trump or Hillary. I can’t even imagine the thought process of someone that would choose Hillary as the better person, so I won’t try.

Remind me what position Trump has taken that he hasn’t at some point reversed. He’s telling any audience he’s in front of whatever they want to hear at the moment. There’s no consistency in the present, and there’s has been no consistency in the past. There are no policy details or specifics. The only thing Trump is selling is Trump. He, like you, is mad as hell, and he isn’t going to take it any more. That’s the platform, folks. Everybody needs to get in line behind the Pied Piper. He’s leading them to a Wonderful Place. It’s going to be Good. It’s going to be Better than Good. It’s going to be GREAT!

Thanks, but no thanks—and I don’t believe the thought process that gets me to that point should be too difficult to follow.

@Greg: So the answer is NO.

it will have if it is signed into law,

What does the word ‘if’ in your statement mean? Is it a law or is it not a law? The correct answer, is NO it is not a law unless it is actually signed. THEN it would be a law. So the answer is, yes you are trying to mislead someone.

YES, the Oklahoma bill effectively bans abortion.

It doesn’t do anything, it has not been signed into law.
Geez, these liberals……

@kitt, #29:

It is not law yet but the left continues to deny science, that states life begins at conception.

Nobody denies that life begins at conception. I would point out that mosquitoes have life. The question is when does a self-aware human being—a person—begin. Everything I know, science included, tells me that conception is not that moment.

Further, the Constitution tells me that the State has no business whatsoever empowering anyone’s particular religiously-informed beliefs. Your right to hold them is protected, but any right to impose them on someone else is denied.

@Greg:

Remind me what position Trump has taken that he hasn’t at some point reversed.

Why don’t we start by you telling us something that he has actually reversed himself on. Oh, I know. Let’s start with the one where he said he was going to put coal miners out of work, then he tried to say that’s not what he meant. NO…..wait…….was that Trump?

He’s telling any audience he’s in front of whatever they want to hear at the moment.

Unlike Hillary that just lies from the beginning.

The only thing Trump is selling is Trump.

Unlike Hillary that is only trying to sell us Bill again. No. wait….. that’s still a Clinton.

Thanks, but no thanks—and I don’t believe the thought process that gets me to that point should be too difficult to follow.

That’s for sure…

@Redteam, #31:

It’s the effect of a law that matters. This law would effectively ban abortion. That’s the intention of it. It is therefore an abortion ban. Calling a cat a dog doesn’t make it a dog. A thing is what it is, no matter what you call it.

@Greg:

The question is when does a self-aware human being—a person—begin.

When a woman, that is going to have her baby, rubs her stomach and feels movement, does she refer to it as her ‘baby moved’, or does she say her fetus moved.

When a baby is born, how can they tell what sex it is? Suppose it looks like a girl, but is ‘really’ a boy. Do they call it a girl or a Tranny? Suppose they go with Tranny but later find out it is really a girl, do they have to change the birth certificate from Tranny to girl?

@Redteam, #33:

Why don’t we start by you telling us something that he has actually reversed himself on.

Minimum wage? Higher taxes for the wealthiest? Self-financing his presidential campaign? Abortion on demand? A single-payer healthcare system? H-1B visas? He’s recently reversed his position on every one of those issues. And he probably will again, if the occasion demands and the past is any indication. The guy is a human weather vane. He turns whichever way the wind blows. Is he a democrat or a republican? A conservative or a liberal? Who knows? I think he’s a political chameleon.

@Greg:
Further, the Constitution tells me that the State has no business whatsoever empowering anyone’s particular religiously-informed beliefs. Your right to hold them is protected, but any right to impose them on someone else is denied. Who said anything about religion, if you are an atheist does it mean you cannot be against the murder of an innocent?
Your argument falls a bit short of making sense.
Check history there were states that officially adopted religions and the founders did not have an issue with it at all. https://www.loc.gov/exhibits/religion/rel05.html
Would like to rewrite that history wouldn’t ya. Or erase it like the confederate flag.

The position that a fertilized egg or a developing fetus should be legally considered a person is a religiously-informed view. The pro-life movement is for the most part an expression of that religiously-informed view. You won’t find many non-religious anti-abortion activists. The most radical are Christian fundamentalists.

The U.S. Constitution takes precedence over all state constitutions. Federal law takes precedence over state law. The Civil War reaffirmed that principle.

@Greg: To some anyone who attends church and does not deny God exists they are radical fundamentalists. Sounds really bigoted to me.Those radical nuns that the government wishes to force their views onto, no freedom for them, they just want to overthrow the government or something. Yet the SCOTUS states the government should compromise, the horror of that! What a shame they are forced into spending their time in court instead of caring for elderly.

@Greg:

The question is when does a self-aware human being—a person—begin. Everything I know, science included, tells me that conception is not that moment.

I see. So, when IS that moment? When is the moment when an abortion would be taking the life of a sentient being? The moment would be pretty important to be aware of, wouldn’t it?

@Bill, #40:

I see. So, when IS that moment?

Week 25 of gestation. Up until that point, the electrical activity of the brain is not sufficiently organized to indicate the presence of either consciousness or sleep. A person persistently having the same level of brain activity can be declared legally dead. Nobody is yet at home. So, 25 weeks.

Pro-life sites often misleadingly conflate any detectable electrical activity of the developing fetal nervous system with organized brainwave patterns. They’ll make statements such as this one:

Day 40: Brain waves can be detected and recorded.

No, brainwaves cannot be detected and recorded. Electrical activity can be recorded. That’s not the same thing as organized brainwave patterns indicative of consciousness. A twitching muscle produces measurable electrical activity. They’re making a dishonest statement. That is, they’re lying to further their illogical assertion. They’re lying with the objective of depriving women of their Constitutionally protected rights, and of sovereign authority over their own bodies, which they would turn over to the State. And then they’re going to get on their high horse about being protectors of the Constitution.

The Constitution needs to be protected from these people. Religious freedom needs to be protected from these people.

NannyG, the absolutely best “charity” is the creation of JOBS.

With all his blemishes, Trump created endless jobs, something which none of the people who ran, or are running against him, know anything about.

@Greg:
This from a site for expectant mothers,

What’s happening in week 16
16 weeks pregnant

Week 16 and your baby is doing some pretty amazing stuff!
Join Bounty.com

Your baby at week 16

Your baby is around 11.5cm long now and about the size of an avocado. All their limbs and joints are now fully formed – and they’re probably enjoying giving them all a good stretch and flex! They might also have ‘found’ their thumb and worked out how to suck it by now, too. How cute is that?

Now that their backbone has become stronger your baby will start to straighten out their head and neck more. Their nervous system is also making connections to all their muscles so you might find your baby starts to move with a little more purpose and also now has reflexes.
Your baby’s face muscles can now move, too, meaning that facial expressions are beginning to appear, although your little one doesn’t as yet have any control over them.
It’s also possible that they might grab and play with their umbilical cord as they develop the ability to grip further.
Wow amazing thumb sucking I have never heard of the brain dead sucking their thumbs.
And a smile from a newborn is only gas, so its ok to chuck the little bugger in a dumpster right?

@Greg:

I think he’s a political chameleon.

Unlike the 100% socialist liberals, Obama and Clinton.

@Greg: Thanks Greg, you cleared something up for all of us.

No, brainwaves cannot be detected and recorded. Electrical activity can be recorded.

When someone is born with electrical activity, we call them Dimocrats. When someone is born with brainwaves, we call them Republicans. That means Dimocrats can be safely aborted up through birth without it being murder.
You do know that the youngest preemie born was just under 22 weeks and she is not brain dead. In fact, is said to be very bright. Obviously not a Dimocrat.

You do know that the youngest preemie born was just under 22 weeks and she is not brain dead.

Right. She was kept on life support, essentially continuing gestation outside the womb. There would have been no higher brain activity until around 3 weeks after delivery. 25 weeks are still what it takes before the brain is sufficiently developed to support consciousness.

If you’re going to do your best to elect a narcissistic reality TV host who’s never remained consistent on any position as the nation’s president, you should probably stop claiming that democrats aren’t very bright. Most of them have figured out that this guy isn’t even remotely qualified for the job.

I hope someone has informed him that countries can’t declare bankruptcy without economic disaster following. It seems to be his habitual way of dealing with serious financial miscalculations. You don’t just have your lawyers run down to the courthouse and file some papers, and then renegotiate a nation’s debt. Fact-checking claims about Donald Trump’s four bankruptcies

The position that a fertilized egg or a developing fetus should be legally considered a person is a religiously-informed view. The pro-life movement is for the most part an expression of that religiously-informed view. You won’t find many non-religious anti-abortion activists. The most radical are Christian fundamentalists.

That’s somewhat bigoted to say, and very ignorant.

Instead, I’d merely say you’re a religious zealot yourself. As a fundamental Atheist, I’m not sure how you can pretend to be rational over that of a fundamental Christian.

And religion or not, what you seem to conveniently ignore is the real issue with abortion: even if you don’t consider a fetus or fertilized egg to be a person, it WILL BECOME a person…all things considered…or maybe not…but it might, so….

The question is whether we accept that fact or ignore it. Both sides have merit, but chalking the anti-view of your view up to religion is f*cking stupid.

The bright line is defined differently (conception vs. whatever-week-it-is-this), depending on what you want to believe. Libs move the line out to support their agenda, and cons move it in to do the same. They’re both wrong, and right.

Point is, you have no more scientific or moral primacy than your opponents. The left claims they are protecting women, and the right claims they are protecting children. They are both right.

Making it a religious issues (yours against theirs) is absurd.

BTW, you’re religious. Fundamental Atheism seems to be the real issue facing the moral decisions of our century, and like fundamental religious hatred before it, it’s not new, enlightened, or original. Just hateful.

One last note: you’re ignorance prove the premise of the article. One more reason to vote for Trump. You might as well get a sign for Trump and put it in your yard, genius.

@Greg:

No, brainwaves cannot be detected and recorded. Electrical activity can be recorded.

So, what is your scientific basis for determining that THIS electrical activity is different from later, more developed, electrical activity indicating the right to live? See, once you ADMIT to the fact that viable life exists at some point during the pregnancy and that abortion would be TAKING a life beyond that point, you are obligated to definitively define when that point is… EXACTLY.

As I have said before, I am no anti-abortion zealot. I have no way to figure out how to defend abortion, for I feel it is wrong, but I don’t oppose it principally. I think the use of abortion as a form of birth control and, absolutely and without reserve, oppose it (other than for health reasons) after 20 weeks. But, early term abortion is not a deal-breaker for me.

However, in reference to your belly-aching about the recent efforts making abortion illegal, you have only yourselves to blame; this is a direct result of Planned Parenthood getting caught red handed selling the body parts of the lives they have destroyed and the left’s unwavering defense of anything abortion, all the time, no matter what. Particularly in Texas, where what was supposed to be an investigation of possible violations turned into a partisan, grudge-settling attack of the messenger, it exemplifies how the left believes they are allowed to operate above and beyond the law. So, what you get is extreme counter-reaction. Tough cookies.

I doubt any of those laws will ever see the light of day, but I find it hard to sympathize with those adversely affected by them. They have brought this upon themselves by showing their inability to self-police, show some dignity and humanity regarding the lives of babies and objectively view and admit to the despicable, indefensible and unforgivable acts of Planned Parenthood; acts which are, obviously, systemic. In other words, the left has shown themselves irresponsible to wield such power.

The Oklahoma law is nothing more than Republicans using the same techniques the left uses to attack the 2nd Amendment against them on abortion. They attack the periphery of abortion, as the left attacks gun manufacturers, sellers, costs of ownership and ammunition supplies. While this goes to an extreme I think will be its doom, it is nothing the left has not attempted against what is a REAL right… the right to gun ownership and self defense, as opposed to a contrived right.

So, in my opinion, all these extreme laws will fail (I won’t say they SHOULD fail) and this will give the left the opportunity to rethink their lack of principles in defending any abortion at any time no matter what. But, just as certain as those laws will fail, the left will not reconsider their position… they are incapable of that.

If you’re going to do your best to elect a narcissistic reality TV host who’s never remained consistent on any position as the nation’s president, you should probably stop claiming that democrats aren’t very bright.

Ha. Ha, ha and ha. YOU elected a narcissistic community organizer that never held a job, never completed a term as a public representative and could not even reveal details of his past. This resulted in failure after the first 4 years, and YOU WENT AND DID IT AGAIN!! Please, do not use your judgement to tell anyone else what they should regard as a viable candidate. You simply have no idea.

The left has finally got over taking baby steps to their agenda, now they jackboot down the door and come in blasting away, then wonder what all the fuss is about. How dare we be offended!
