Loading

2018 Was Year of the Worker Thanks to President Trump!

Job numbers released yesterday through the end of December show an increase of nearly 5 million jobs since President Trump won the 2016 election and an unemployment rate of less than 4 percent. After the same period under Obama, (4) million jobs were lost and unemployment skyrocketed to 9.3 percent!

President Trump’s economic results could arguably be the best all time.

According to data released yesterday by the Bureau of Labor StatisticsPresident Trump has added nearly 5 million jobs in the first two years of his administration.

The same cannot be said for President Obama’s first two years as he lost 4 million jobs. Obama was so bad at creating jobs that by the end of his second term he said that jobs were not coming back. This showed in his first two years with millions of lost jobs.

Overall President Trump has gained nearly 9 million more jobs than Obama in their respective first two years in office!

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, under President Trump more Americans are in the work force than ever before and 2018 was the year of the worker.  President Trump is working hard to bring good paying jobs back to the US and his efforts are showing historic results.

Also according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics the US unemployment rate at year end remained at historic lows of less than 4 percent.   Rates for Hispanics have never been lower.

Couple this with the increase in wages and it’s great news for the American worker. Unless of course you are a left wing demokrat who prefers stagnant wages and low paying jobs with no benefits because that way people can get on the government dole which makes them easier to control. Remember, Peolsi once told us that having people on food stamps is good for the economy.

Obama inherited the worst and most prolonged economic downturn since the Great Depression, Mr. Holt. Trumpy Bear inherited a U.S. economy that had already seen 75 consecutive months of job growth under his predecessor. Consequently, your comparison of their first two years in office—like the Trump administration itself—is fundamentally dishonest.

Thank GOD the Democrats are pledging to but an end to all this prosperity nonsense! What would we do if happiness go out of hand? We have democrats to keep growth in check. Democrats are great at growing… numbers of those in poverty.

@Greg: Trump inherited an economy with the government’s foot on its neck. True, making the economy take off (rather simply allowing it) was easy, but why didn’t Obama do it? Well, because economic growth and socialism don’t mix. Obama made a POINT of keeping the economy in the shitter and nothing exemplifies that more than his bold denouncements of Trump’s promise to bring manufacturing back to the US. His prediction was about as good as his economic record.

@Greg: BS the down turn was a consequence of NAFTA and other trade deals that crippled American industry, did Bathhouse Barry help that, no he put the pedal to the metal on government yokes, what type of jobs were created under Barry? Loads of government positions, massive government growth a burden to the taxpayers that were left.
75% were Part-time low paying service positions, stagnant wages.Would you like fries with that? https://www.nytimes.com/2014/04/28/business/economy/recovery-has-created-far-more-low-wa

I suppose we should all be thankful that hardly anyone is now working in low-paying service positions.

@Greg: Actually we should be thankful that there are now options. Maybe they wont be career jobs and return to HS kids.

All the very old whites leading the Dem party are doing their best to spin these great jobs numbers as a bad thing.
Old Nancy Pelosi said Pres Trump was threatening the economy.
Old Steny Hoyer said (without evidence) “The economy shows unsure signs of its direction. The Trump Administration’s poorly thought-out economic policies are taking a toll.”

Here’s a 2nd economic indicator comparing Obama to Trump: Manufacturing jobs:

I guess Donald Trump really does have a magic wand!

@Nan G: Don’t forget Obama’s promise to double our exports. Basically, Obama was a dismal failure and Trump is a resounding success.

What a load of crap this story is. Totally dishonest.

@Gary Miller: Oh… you don’t like one-sided weighted stories? Welcome to our world.

One thing is indisputable; Obama presided over a lethargic economy that terribly under-performed. The reason it was poor was because Obama made it so. Aside from pushing trade negotiations, the economy is great now not so much for what Trump has done but for what he un-did. He un-did the culture of failure Obama imposed upon the economy.

Yeah. It was that easy. The only reason Obama didn’t do it was because he didn’t want to.

@Deplorable Me:

How long will you allow liberalism to be the scapegoat for your own personal insolence?

Does it bother you that you are simply not mature enough to take responsibility for the words you write?

@Gary Miller: Liberalism is a disease. It has infected the judicial system, the media and the government. It hasn’t made me “insolent”, just more aware than, obviously, you.

Does it bother you that you are simply not mature enough to take responsibility for the words you write?

What is it you feel I have not taken responsibility for? Did I write something that hurt your widdle feewings?
