At least five emails determined to be classified were found among 2,800 documents stored on a laptop belonging to Anthony Weiner, whose then-wife Huma Abedin was deputy chief of staff to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The State Department released hundreds of pages of materials Friday afternoon, including a total of eight pages classified at the ‘confidential level,’ the third most sensitive level the U.S. government uses.
The confidential classification level is applied to information whose unauthorized disclosure ‘reasonably could be expected to cause damage to national security,’
The emails date from 2010, 2011 and 2012 and concern discussions with Middle East leaders including some from Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.
Large portions, including entire pages, were redacted before the documents’ release.
Three of them were sent either to or from an address called ‘BBB Backup,’ which one email identifies as a backup of a Blackberry Bold 9700, presumably belonging to Abedin.
One page of a document released Friday is heavily redacted and marked ‘classified’; it mentions ‘update on Hamas-PA talks,’ referring to the Palestinian Authority.
Another is a four-page ‘call sheet’ meant to guide Clinton through a sensitive phone call with Benjamin Netanyahu.
A third is a detailed rundown of issues Clinton was expecting to address during a call with Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who served as Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister until 2015.
Only one small portion of that email was deemed classified by intelligence agencies that reviewed it before releasing it to the public.
The call sheet itself related mostly to the expected publication of a massive trove of U.S. diplomatic cables by the WikiLeaks organization.
‘This appears to be the result of an illegal act in which a fully cleared intelligence officer stole information and gave it to a website. The person responsible will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,’ the call sheet advised her to say.
The FBI and DOJ were in the tank for getting Hillary elected. They were not applying equal justice.
Huma and Mills should be indicted for lying to investigators. Huma should be indicted for gross negligence in handling of classified government documents.
But…they were Democrats on the staff of a Democratic Presidential Candidate and are untouchable because the laws that Congress passes are only for the little people.
Weren’t we told that there were NO classified or State Department emails on that laptop? Oh, I guess like Comey’s declaration of Hillary’s innocence before he began investigating, they determined there were no emails illegally on that laptop before they turned it on.
Liberals have denied incessantly that Hillary broke any laws, yet the facts were available then and continue to mount up (even as they continue to pursue the phony accusations of Trump’s Russian collusion). One wonders how long it will take before the DOJ can purge itself of enough liberal ideologues to be able to initiate a thorough investigation of this monumental crime (a REAL crime, not a fantastic hope and dream of a crime, as the liberals cling to).
Well you see after being the Flotus, a senator and secretary of State she had’nt once gone to any briefings or Knew anything about classified information or its markings, her top aide, with ties to HAMAS, told her how to do everything, She got all her instructions from Valarie, Obamas top aid, who has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Valarie gave a glowing recommendation of the Awan brothers, who have ties to Hezbola, to Debbie. It was all pre-approved by CAIR. It must have been legal, Its all very simple see?
Will someone please get the answer as TO HOW documents were moved from a SIPR to NIPR computer without being copied or retyped. It’s not possible without intent.
@Bob: Hell, I’m still struggling with why one would Bleachbit 30,000 emails the moment their discovery generates governmental interest in seeing them other than they contain evidence of illegal and/or improper activity… something Hillary supporters will not address.

It makes you wonder how much more of this article is true. The classified emails may only be the tip of the iceberg.

Better yet we have the actual emails that prove the conspiracy that no friggin way in hell any one would believe. There are some wild wild conspiracy theories with these being proved really make a person wonder how deep this rabbit hole runs.
