The attorney general of New York took action Thursday to dissolve the National Rifle Association following an 18-month investigation that found evidence the powerful gun rights group is “fraught with fraud and abuse.
“Attorney General Letitia James claims in a lawsuit filed Thursday that she found financial misconduct in the millions of dollars and that it contributed to a loss of more than $64 million over a three-year period.
The suit alleges that top NRA executives misused charitable funds for personal gain, awarded contracts to friends and family members, and provided contracts to former employees to ensure loyalty.
Seeking to dissolve the NRA is the most aggressive sanction James could have sought against the not-for-profit organization, which James has jurisdiction over because it is registered in New York.
Of course, of course. The left is no longer pretending. They intend to run America on the Arab model of democracy: One man, one vote, one time, and then never again.
And they intend 2020 to be The Last Vote, so they’re pulling out all the stops to rig it.
I wonder how NeverTrump continues to justify its propaganda that if we just give the unchained left more political power, they’ll be satisfied and will stop their unceasing Will to Power.
According to the Charity Navigator this advisory makes no sense unless it is 100% political.
The NRA is NOT, in truth, a “charity” at all it is a LOBBYING group.
Yet the most recent rating there for the NRA is 89.4% a 4 star (out of 5) rating.
The Clinton Foundation has never reached a 4 star rating at all.
After their money dried up they achieved their highest rating ever at 84%.
But New York never went after them!
As members of the NRA, people EXPECT the money to go to successful lobbiers and lawyers.

The guy has been as obvious a schemer and scammer as Donald Trump. There’s even an overlap of their target audiences and favorite conspiracy theories. We can thank him for flooding the nation with lethal weapons by promoting paranoia, to the extent that traditional shooting enthusiasts and sportsmen can’t even find ammunition at present.

Actually, NRA donors give money for far more purposes including LOBBYING for the 1st and 2nd Amendments.
James’ lawsuit is frivolous.

The left takes court actions against political opponents to stain them with the scent of a crime, but then once the damage is done, the “crime” just disappears. Trump’s supporters cannot state specifically what either of the Bidens would be charged with, nor can they state specifically what evidence would support charges. Of all the countless people that Trump has slandered, how many have been charged with actual crimes? Why is that? And how many of his own have been charged and confessed, or found guilty by a jury? Why is the guy surrounded by convicted felons and people under investigation?

To date, Trump hasn’t sold any of our uranium to Russia or paid a terrorist nation to be allowed to accept their terms on a negotiated deal.
Trump sounds pretty qualified. Of course, he was never a “community organizer”, so he doesn’t know how to foment and spread hatred where there isn’t any, but he has the Democrats to make sure that box is checked.
How many “green energy” businesses did Obama fund for his buddies that went tits up? How much did that cost the taxpayer? I guess community organizing didn’t instill in him a sense of who was a good loan risk.
