@kevino: That’s as smart as he gets. Mulvaney exposed the liberal bias in the media. The House has already passed a budget but without the Democrats stopping their blockage of anything and everything in order to undercut Trump, it can’t be passed. So, these idiotic CR’s have to be utilized. Suddenly, the Democrats decide they want a DACA deal (so there is no longer any leverage to get wall funding) and they insist that is part of a budget extension. Even within that, Durbin sinks any deal by lying about what Trump said in private negotiations.
Acosta knows this but pretends this is a Republican failure (or he should; maybe that’s why he has to work at CNN).
