All I know is that out here in the sticks, out here in hick country, out here in the hinterlands, my 3,200 square foot home (if you count my finished basement) is as comfortable, cool, and dry as a shopping mall. A 72 perfect degrees, and it has been at least five years since the power’s gone out, and even then it wasn’t longer than an hour.

Honestly, if your government is too inept to deliver the basics, and other than water — something else California can’t deliver — there is nothing more basic than electricity, you live in a third world country.

How efficient are those solar panels with the smoke darkened skies? Go out and clean the ashes off the panels. Seems the fires are causing problems in Portland Oregon they also had to cut power for high winds and the skies are dark, air quality in the danger zone.

Oh, and as if all that’s not bad enough, consider this; even if California government suddenly woke up and saw the failure of its liberal leadership, they can’t do a damned thing! The California taxpayer is maxed out, paying for bullshit that does nothing but make liberals feel good about being a liberal. High speed trains no one will use, subsidizing illegal immigration, paying for gender insanity and much, much more has bankrupted the state and there is NO reserve to build reservoirs or power plants and infrastructure. There’s no money to actually maintain forests so the naturally occurring fires don’t turn into massive conflagrations that threaten communities.
Well, they may have to give up having access to luxuries like electricity but at least they have to pay a whole, whole lot to suffer.
