Under the administration of Joe Biden, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has begun releasing entire families of illegal aliens back into the U.S. from their custody without setting a date for them to appear before an immigration court, as reported by Breitbart.
Breitbart’s Randy Clark, himself a veteran of the Border Patrol, said that CBP has sent notices to border patrol agents and other immigration enforcement authorities that families are to be released without a formal “Notice to Appear.” Two anonymous officials seemed to confirm Clark’s account.
“This is insane,” one official said. “It is another pull factor that will overwhelm us. We are creating an entirely different class of aliens we will have to deal with years from now. We will never find most of these aliens once they are released.”
In response to the revelations, CBP issued a statement claiming that such practice “is no change in policy.”
“In some cases,” the statement elaborated, “families are placed in removal proceedings further along in the release process rather than while they are at the border patrol station. All families, however, are screened at the border patrol station, including the collection of biographical and biometric information and criminal and national security record checks.”
The new “policy” reflects the widely-criticized “catch and release” policy, wherein illegals are briefly detained by border patrol before they must be released back into America. Many such illegals subsequently go off the grid and disappear, becoming much harder to find once they have made it into the country.
The absolutely utter stupidity of this idiot and his administration is practically unfathomable. Can we have a more explicit example of Democrat immigration failure? Obviously, they do not want success at the border or they define “success” as having the border open and any and all that want to come forth as quickly as possible allowed in, no questions asked.
This goddamned idiot should be IMPEACHED for THIS. Defending and protecting our borders and citizens is in his OATH. HE undid the security of the border.
