Bartender Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is famous for her stupid statements. One of her most famous stupid lines, besides the garbage disposal video, is when she claimed the world was going to end in 12 years if America does not give up fossil fuels and buy more Chinese solar panels to heat our homes in the winter.
But on Sunday the daiquiri maker lashed out at Republicans for taking her words seriously. (We don’t) Ocasio-Cortez then attacked Republicans for having the social intelligence of a sea sponge to believe the nonsense coming out of her mouth.
This is a technique of the GOP, to take dry humor + sarcasm literally and “fact check” it.
Like the “world ending in 12 years” thing, you’d have to have the social intelligence of a sea sponge to think it’s literal.

Ocasio first made the remarks in January at a Martin Luther King forum in New York City.
It was all caught on video.
Now she’s saying she was kidding but it didn’t sound that way.
Ocasio Cortez has repeated the claim several times and even made an insane video warning we only had 12 years to act.

But now she says she was just joking.
This is called gaslighting — Alexandria is telling an obvious lie.
No, it takes someone with the intelligence of a cabbage to make the claim and then, when you sober up, claim you were just kidding.
You have to have intelligence to make a joke. Sandy is always serious.
Sometimes shorthand can be deadly.
Like in Organic Chemistry.
Did you know that Carbon is so pervasive to every organic thing that the Carbon molecule is assumed at meeting points in compounds.
Thus, laypeople, like AOC, don’t realize how central Carbon is to life everywhere on our planet!
They honestly think that “sequestering carbon” is a good idea.
It’s not.
And “12 years?”
