As Rioters Storm Nation’s Capitol, Bubbled Media Slams Trump’s Speech as ‘Too Dark’

Daily Wire:

tching President Trump’s Inauguration on NBC News was a hoot, a reminder that there really are two Americas. There is the America most of us live in, where we have all felt the cold reality of Obama’s calculated racial divisions and record low economic growth, and then there is the America the elite DC Media infests, an Emerald City artificially boosted by a bloated federal government’s deficit spending; a city populated with bloodless, Obama-loving Technocrats who hide behind numbers whenever the Precious is slighted.

This is a basic rundown of what I heard on NBC News Friday afternoon.

Trump: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities, rusted out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation. An education system flush with cash but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of all knowledge. And the crime and the gangs and the drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.

Reality: Poisoned water in Flint, Michigan. Detroit is a dystopia. Dozens of shootings a week in Chicago, 746 dead last year. The long-ignored Rustbelt in serious decay. America is 14th in the world in quality of education.

NBC News Technocrat: The stats show crime is under control.

Trump: One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores with not even a thought about the millions and millions of American workers that were left behind. The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed all across the world.

Reality: Obama’s economy produced the worst growth of any president in history, the worst labor participation rate since Jimmy Carter, few good-paying jobs, a poverty rate higher than the one he inherited, and record numbers living on food stamps. Home ownership is near an all-time low.

NBC News Technocrat: Obama saved the economy. Unemployment is 5%.

Trump: We’ve defended other nations’ borders while refusing to defend our own. …. We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies and destroying our jobs.

Reality: Our border is an open sieve that floods our country with criminals and cheap labor, which results in fewer jobs and lower wages for law-abiding Americans and legal immigrants. Using pen and phone, Obama did everything in his power to keep that flood going.

NBC News Technocrat: Border crossings are down.

Trump: We all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American flag. And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams and they are infused with the breath of life by the same Almighty Creator. So to all Americans in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, from ocean to ocean, hear these words — you will never be ignored again.

Reality: Poll after poll shows that after 8 years of Obama, we are more divided than we have been in decades, especially on the issue of race. Trump’s speech talked about bringing our country together through the common bond of prosperity, America and Americanism.

NBC News Technocrat: Trump’s speech was dark and divisive.

My favorite part of NBC’s coverage, though, was being told how great everything is in Obama’s America as yet-another violent riot broke out in a yet-another city controlled for decades by Democrats. Our nation’s capitol, no less.

What a fitting bookend for Obama’s failed presidency: one last riot in the divisive wake of his awful legacy.

And just how many riots have to occur before things look a little “dark” for our Emerald City residents? How many people have to be murdered in Chicago before it is not okay? How many factories have to close? How many inner-city jobs have to be stolen by illegals? How many victims of criminal illegal aliens? How many failing schools? How many have to drop out of the work force? How many people on food stamps? How high do health insurance premiums have to get? How many domestic terror attacks?

Is it any wonder Trump opened his magnificent speech as a means to put our Velvet-Wrapped Ruling Class on notice:

If Obama had crime under control, why was gun control such a priority?

No doubt, the sycophantic media can’t stand the references to all the things that desperately need improvement after 8 years of utter neglect and mismanagement.

For the first time since January 20th, 2009 I am proud of the President we have.

There is nothing wrong with putting America first. Were the media not so anti American and embarrassed to have to call themselves American, perhaps they would think otherwise.

We just concluded 8 years of darkness.

Obamas scandal free presidency Yeah Sure woo hoo tell me about it you stupid blabbering liberal fools tell us if Obama has wings and a halo otherwise mindless liberals just keep quite and stop with the mindless braying

Trumps speech was right on target. It’s only the progressive establishment types of both of the corrupt parties whom see it as “dark”, because the end goal is to overthrow their globalist agenda, wrest the reigns of power from their crooked hands, and restore the sovereign powers of the people and individual states.
