Via AP:

On Friday, the IRS said it has also lost emails from five other employees related to the probe, including two agents who worked in a Cincinnati office processing applications for tax-exempt status.

According to the AP, the IRS is blaming a “computer crash” and has “found no evidence that anyone deliberately destroyed evidence.”

Emails of 5 more #IRS workers related to probe disappear in hard drive crashes, and the agency sees NOTHING FISHY. hosted.ap.org/dynamic/storie…

If there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that the IRS has nothing to hide.

Are there any reports on any OTHER IRS employees that lost emails, or has it only been employees related to the investigation?

Imagine the fines and criminal charges that would come from any private company pulling this stunt while being investigated by the IRS.

Beyond outrageous. Were the current administration republican rather than dem, the media would be channeling Woodward and Bernstein nonstop.

How sad is it that there are people (like Greggie) that will defend this saying “well, computers crash all the time) and accept this, the latest, lame excuse to comply with the law by the Obama administration?

And how sad is it that we have come to the point where public servants, those paid by us, the taxpayer, feels that we are so stupid that we will believe their lies?

Except the IRS lawyers have already admitted in court and to Judicial Watch that everything at the IRS is backed up, including Lois Lerner’s emails.
