In order to delay the vote on a continuing resolution, Jamaal Brown pulled a fire alarm.
Socialist Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulled the fire alarm in a House office building Saturday as Democrats tried to delay a bipartisan vote on a Republican stopgap spending bill.
The wild incident in the Cannon Building was caught on camera and confirmed by several witnesses.
His excuses were total bullsh*t and have continued to get more and more so.
“I was rushing to make a vote, I was trying to get through a door. I thought the alarm would open the door,” he said.
“I didn’t mean to cause confusion . . . I didn’t know it was going to trip the whole building.”
He also added: “I want to be very clear, this was not me, in any way, trying to delay the vote. It was the exact opposite — I was trying urgently to get to a vote, which I ultimately did.”

The move came as Democrats were desperately employing tactics to delay the vote, including Democratic Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (Brooklyn/Queens) using his privilege to make a speech and forcing a vote on a motion to adjourn.

I have never heard of anyone pulling a fire alarm as means of opening a door. If that’s his excuse, he is a retard and it’s scary to think of the kids over whom he presided. democrats have quite the thing going – a US Senator who can’t process language, a Congresswoman out of Jerry Springer and now a Congressman who is color blind and can’t read.
Oh, and Bowman’s first move after his stunt was to lawyer up.

It would be quite interesting if in the ten years as a middle school principal, a fire alarm had been pulled without a fire in the building.

You know what’s coming, right? Massive warning signs on all fire alarms explaining they only set off a fire alarm, they don’t open any doors, play and music, serve any drinks or provide any information.
When I was in college, I had a job working at the school. I figured out that I could pull the emergency stop button just far enough to cause the elevator car to come to a screeching stop but not set off the alarm. Then, releasing the button, the car would continue operation. One time…. it didn’t. Maintenance had to come get me. My boss, kind of amused by my embarrassing predicament, asked, “Don’t they have elevators where you are from?” Though I hadn’t graduated from college, I was smart enough to know there was no answer but that I had done something really stupid.
Later, working at a customer’s aircraft hangar, I was ready to leave and, going through the office, I encountered a door that required an electromagnetic release. I asked the office worker in there if she could open the door. Annoyed, the told me to push the big, red, unmarked button on the wall. I told her I wasn’t in the habit of pushing big, red buttons that I don’t know what they do. See, I LEARNED something in college.

So he gets a $1000 fine and all charges dropped after 3 months for pulling a fire alarm to evacuate a federal building during working hours, and Trump gets a $10,000 fine from a left-wing judge for calling him a left-wing judge?
