There might be more to this story, and what you just read is the extent of my knowledge here – haven’t followed the MLB in years. I actually don’t have a problem with what Bass did. Do I wish he had taken a stand and not caved? Absolutely. But keep in mind, even in The People’s Republic of California things are worse in the authoritarian nation that Canada has become. If he is getting booed publicly for standing up for kids we have no idea what he faced behind the scenes and was probably terrified at what he was facing, living behind The Maple Curtain. I have a feeling we’ll eventually learn more, so I’m holding back on judgement until then.

That gets more credence if you’ve ever put on a mascot head – they’re dark, stuffy, and hard to see out of. For that matter, I didn’t even recognize Mulvaney with her new blonde look. So I’m not jumping on Kellogg’s for this specifically. But given how much woke marketing they’ve done, I’m fine with them being forced to twist in the wind over this.
