Alvin Bragg: Soros’ Slave or Biden’s B***h?

Loading

That hissing sound you hear is the sound of Alvin Bragg’s case against Donald Trump deflating.

Bragg is the controversial Manhattan DA who is on the verge of indicting Donald Trump for well, something Bragg contrived. Bragg is a “progressive” (i.e., advocate for criminals) DA who is funded by George Soros.

In June, Bragg was linked to Soros after it was revealed that the far-left Color of Change PAC which endorsed his candidacy was receiving millions from the billionaire investor. “Soros also donated $1 million to Alvin Bragg’s successful DA campaign in Manhattan, funneling the cash through the Color of Change political action committee, according to public filings,” the New York Post reported.

In the year following his election crime skyrocketed

The latest NYPD figures show major crime remains up 36% so far this year – even though shootings and murders both saw a dip of about 10% as of Sunday. “The politicians will say ‘Murder is down!’ and ignore everything else,” said Joseph Giacalone, a retired NYPD sergeant and adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan. “Meanwhile, everything else is God awful.”

Grand larceny was up a whopping 48.3%, from 20,374 to 30,205 incidents, auto theft rose 42%, from 5,589 to 7,939, and robbery jumped 39.8%, from 7,366 to 10,294, over the same period in 2021, the data show. Rapes increased 10%, from 892 to 989, and felonious assaults were up 19.5%, from 13,086 to 15,640, the statistics show.

Bragg ran on a promise to pretty much not prosecute crime. He has downgraded 52% of felonies to misdemeanors. His soft touch on crime has come with a terrible cost. A 25 year old man who raped a teenager in New York City saw his rape charge reduced to “sexual coercion” by Bragg.

But just a week before he was set to be sentenced Wednesday, Washington allegedly went on a sex-crime spree, attacking four women and a man near the homeless shelter where he was living in the Bronx.

Josa Alba, a bodega owner in the city, killed a man attacking him in self defense.  Bragg had him charged with murder and stuffed the Latino Alba in Rikers.

Alba called police, and when they arrived, they arrested him on second-degree murder charges, sparking a wave of protest from supporters, including Mayor Eric Adams and former NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton, who said the stabbing was committed in self-defense.

He drops a lot of cases

His office won felony convictions at a rate of 51%, down from 68% in 2019. His misdemeanor conviction rate was 29%, compared to 53% in 2019.

Bragg declined to prosecute 1,119 felony cases during his first 11 months in office compared to 828 declined in 2019 by his predecessor,  a 35% increase.

That all makes it appear he’s being successful at combating crime.

Bragg has been rather selective with who gets charged with what. He routinely downgrades felonies to misdemeanors but in Trump’s case he’s trying to upgrade a misdemeanor to a felony. That reeks of politics.

Bragg’s judgment has been called into question. The Wall St Journal:

“Alvin Bragg may actually do it. The Manhattan district attorney is by all media accounts preparing to indict Donald Trump for failing to account properly for hush money paid to his alleged mistress, unleashing who knows what political furies.

“It’s impossible to overstate Mr. Bragg’s bad judgment here,” the board wrote.

“Perhaps the local Democratic DA has discovered some new proof of criminal behavior. But based on the public evidence so far, he would be resurrecting a seven-year-old case that even federal prosecutors refused to bring to court,” they noted.

And there’s the rub. Both the former NYC DA’s office and the FEC refused to prosecute the case. Bragg resurrected the case once Donald Trump decided to run for the Presidency again.

This would be a purely political prosecution.

But then yesterday Bragg’s case was mortally wounded. His star witness being a convicted perjurer was bad enough, but a former Cohen legal adviser came forward and what he had to say was very interesting.

Robert Costello, the former legal advisor to ex-Trump attorney Michael Cohen, appeared before the grand jury in the Manhattan District Attorney’s investigation into former President Trump Monday, and testified that Cohen is a “serial liar.”

“Michael was in a manic state. He told us that he had contemplated suicide, that he had been up on the roof of the Regency Hotel the weekend before, seriously considering jumping off because he couldn’t face the enormity of the legal problems he knew were coming his way,” Costello recalled, reminding that, at the time, Cohen’s office and home had been searched by the FBI, but had yet to be charged with any crimes.

Costello told reporters Monday that he testified to the grand jury that Trump did not know about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels.

Watch:

The well-respected Costello is eminently more credible than is Cohen and would destroy Cohen.

In this quixotic pursuit of Trump Bragg is caving to pressure. Jonathan Turley:

“We have to keep in mind that we have a legal system here, which is designed to protect the rights of the accused. And even if he’s convicted, there are going to be significant appellate challenges and reviews. I think we have to be careful not to just assume, in the most inflammatory way, that the rule of law is dead. This is not the first D.A. who has yielded to public pressure to bring a criminal charge.”

More likely the pressure is coming from another source- either Soros himself or Joe Biden, who would love to throw a spike into Trump’s spokes. Rep. Jim Jordan is right to do this:

WASHINGTON — The chairmen of the House Oversight and Judiciary committees on Monday demanded that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg hand over documents and testify about “what plainly appears to be a politically motivated” prosecution of former President Donald Trump.

The letter requests from Bragg “[a]ll documents and communications between or among the New York County District Attorney’s Office and the US Department of Justice, its component entities, or other federal law enforcement agencies referring or relating to your office’s investigation of President Donald Trump.”

It also seeks “all documents and communications referring or relating to the New York County District Attorney Office’s receipt and use of federal funds” and records pertaining to two former employees, Carey Dunne and Mark Pomerantz, who quit over an earlier decision not to charge Trump.

Although Bragg owes Soros bigly, my money is on Biden, who IMO is the most corrupt person ever to be President.

Anything Soros is involved in has scum on it. Bragg is the prototypical Democrat; he ignores his elected job and pursues nothing but political agenda. There is no evidence of justice, due process, truth or legality in what he is doing. Nothing but politics.

I’m old enough to remember when it was “election interference” to even investigate a Presidential candidate. Democrats work hard to emphasize how they ignore the rules and can, at will and arbitrarily, persecute any political opponent that seriously threatens their power… or just to make a point.

If fat-ass Bragg dares appear before the House committee, I hope he is fully exposed and discredited. His entire goal is to use Trump to put a notch on his gun to use to run for higher office, probably President. It is amazing how with Democrat candidates, while they can only improve on what they have, they prospects continue to get worse and worse.

He will never show whining racist blah blah. In the end he will be kicked to the curb where he started from. Any one remember hogg boy or porn STAR stormey. STAR, hahahahahaha. Wheres the bald chakeeta? piss out my azz

BREAKING: Soros-Funded DA Alvin Bragg CAUGHT HIDING Nearly 600 Pages of Exculpatory Evidence from NY Grand Jury in Trump Case

According to FOX News legal mind Gregg Jarrett, Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg HID nearly 600 pages of exculpatory evidence to the New York Grand Jury investigating President Trump.

Gregg Jarrett: I mentioned it yesterday, I think, when Bob Costello got into that Grand Jury room and told them, “Wait a minute. You don’t have the hundreds of pages I handed over to Alvin Bragg over here? You only have six cherry-picked documents?” You know, hiding from grand juries exculpatory information is reprehensible and unconscionable. And the conduct of Alvin Bragg and his henchman Mark Pomeranz, who specifically says in his book, “We’re targeting zombies because we don’t like his beliefs,” those guys should face disbarment proceedings.

Once again the REAL crooks reveal themselves.

And Jarrett is right. If there was a real justice system in the country, they should be disbarred.
