The Department of the Air Force this week said it was now allowing individual members of the military to list the pronouns they wanted to be known by — including he/him, she/her and they/them — in the “signature block” that also includes the poster’s name, rank, service affiliation, social media contacts and other personal information on emails and social media posts.

This month the Army dove into wokeness headfirst.

While Russia wages a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. Army is putting its soldiers through training on gender pronouns and coaching officers on when to offer soldiers gender transition surgery, according to an official military presentation on the subject obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The mandatory presentation, “Policy on the Military Service of Transgender Persons and Persons with Gender Dysphoria,” was given to officers earlier this month along with instructions for them to train their subordinates on the material. Portions of the presentation were provided to the Free Beacon by a whistleblower who was ordered to undergo the training as a high-ranking officer in the Army Special Forces.

An Army spokesman confirmed to the Free Beacon that the slides in question are part of “mandatory training” and come from an official program “used to train Army personnel on the recent changes to the DoD and Army transgender service policy.” All Army personnel, from soldiers to commanders and supervisors, are required to participate in the training by Sept. 30, 2022, according to the spokesman.

The Army officially recognizes that biologic men are stronger than biologic women and is lowering standards to accommodate that fact:

As the world braces for a potential WWIII, the U.S. Army is lowering its fitness standards to be ‘more inclusive’.

The Army is changing several of its fitness test exercises – including the dreaded leg tucks – in favor of planks because about half of all female soldiers were unable to complete the exercise.

The new Army Combat Fitness Test, ACFT, which is comprised of six exercises, also slashes the number of push-ups from 30 to 10, reduces the power throw distance by two-thirds and gives more time to finish the two-mile run.

A gender-neutral test was proposed but it did not fare well:

Under Donald Trump, a tough gender-neutral ACFT test was suggested but a trial found 70 per cent of women failed, compared to 16 percent of men.

The most difficult part of the exam was the leg tuck event, which saw a staggering 72 percent of women fail. In some cases, women have been required to perform the move just six months after giving birth.

The tougher test was due to be introduced in 2020 but was eventually abandoned to be more inclusive to women.

There was a time that standards existed for a reason. No more, it seems. Now it’s come to this:

The US Marine Corps will allow service members to wear longer hair, two-tone nail polish and black socks with their combat utility uniform as part of a push for more ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusion.’

The military branch unveiled the changes on Wednesday, after they were approved by a Marine Corps uniform board last month.

As part of the update, Marines will be permitted to grow the ‘bulk of their hair’ up to three inches – an increase from the current two inches – meaning that they could have thicker hair.

This was received poorly

Some critics on Twitter were quick to seize on the nail polish rules, slamming them as ‘woke.’

‘Ridiculous… you get included in the Corps; culture not the other way around,’ one user fumed. ‘The corps isn’t woke, they’re warriors.’

Another opined in the same vein: ‘I miss the USMC that was NOT woke when I was in. It is very disheartening to see woke bulls*** impacting the USMC. If you don’t like the culture, don’t join. fighting and winning wars is the purpose, not social experiments.’

Some questions arise from this.

• If you break a nail, can you be excused from combat?
• Are males allowed to wear nail polish? If not, why?
• Do transgender women soldiers have to pass the male or female test standards?
• Do transgender women soldiers get maternity leave?
• Do transgender male soldiers have to pass male test standards?
• Can US soldiers demand that POW’s they capture address them in the proper pronouns?

In the fight for diversity and inclusion these answers are vital, but I’m not sure what any of this does for combat readiness and ability.
