One of the things that Donald Trump has done is to rip the phony veneer of civility from the left and allowed them to expose themselves for the vile ambitions they harbor. This is exactly what I expected. Here, here and here.

America is changing. Quickly. And not for the better. Fascism has reared its ugly head. The events of January 10 are merely a vehicle for the left to implement the iron-fisted control of the US they have so assiduously sought.
I read every word of Donald Trump’s January 6 speech and nowhere does he call for the invasion of the Capitol. He did lay out the case for election fraud. Trump asked for peace and following the rule of law. We don’t know for a fact who made the decision to go into the Capitol and why. The verdict has been handed down without a trial and Trump is guilty.
And so are any of us who supported them.
And as I have written, the left lauded violence endlessly for the last nine months when it suited them. When cities were being burned, businesses looted and destroyed, traffic stopped, people’s cars were smashed, restaurant patrons were being harassed it was Donald Trump who was demanding that the rule of law be enforced. He was ignored. 30 people died, 700 cops were injured and nearly $2 billion in damages resulted.
Now following the election the Masters of the Universe have taken control of the country. Perhaps I should say the Monsters of the Universe. Bezos, Pinchai, Cook, Zuckerberg, Dorsey- they are the new government. They now replace the Constitution. They are the arbiters of truth. They determine what you can think and say.
And there is punishment for those who dare cross them.
Donald Trump was banned permanently from Twitter, and then from a flock of other platforms. It was almost like collusion.
It was the first salvo in the war on free speech. Michael Flynn and Sidney Powell were shut down. CNN wants wrong thinking news outlets (i.e. Fox News and Newsmax) shut down.

Defund The Police was a frustrated reaction to something that looks very much like systemic injustice that has gone too long without serious efforts to remedy it. That I recognize this and have said so doesn’t mean I don’t support law enforcement. To my mind, supporting the police includes dealing with the problems that turn communities against them.
That said, there’s no justification for attacking a police officer as a symbol of whatever you’re angry about, no matter how justifiable the anger itself might be. It’s an attack on both a faultless individual and on a critical element that maintains social order. To my mind, the attack on the Capitol went far beyond that. It was an attack on everything that makes America a worthy and exceptional nation. I’m outraged that it would be characterized as a righteous effort to “save America” or to protect democracy. I think well-meaning people have been tricked and their worthy intentions used and abused, with deadly consequences. I’m not sure that has been fully played out yet, either. I think there are people who want to break the nation. They see all of this as their great opportunity. Speaking for myself, the reaction to the events at the Capitol isn’t all about “getting Trump”. It’s about forestalling something even worse. I would have been relieved and content if he had simply accepted his defeat as every defeated president in the past has done. Instead, he has pretty much destroyed all he could—himself included.

Anytime a crowd gathers as large as the D.C. rally was expected to be, policer departments always take all contingencies into consideration. Officers are pre-assigned to the area and other officers are put on stand-by, along with SWAT teams and riot control teams. This was not done and was poo-pooed by House and Senate security. Why?

They quickly refer to the death of a cop (it’s being reported that he really died of a heart attack, I’m surprised they are not reporting he died of Chi-Com flu) but say nothing about a cop shooting a 14 year veteran with four tours of duty under her belt. It’s like she never existed. Yet, we had riots over the shooting of Michael Brown, the shooting of George Floyd and the shooting of Brionna Taylor. And remember how quickly the police officer’s name in those cases were revealed? Why do we still not know the name of Ashli Babbitt’s shooter? Now, all we get is crickets from the left about Babbitt. WTF?
From the minute the Capital building was breeched, I knew something was wrong. Trump supporters don’t wear helmets and signature hoodies and black back packs. Trump supporters don’t carry bolt cutters and crow bars in those back packs. In all the Trump rallies over the last four years, not once did they become violent. Not once. Yet, it is being demanded that we believe the story being put out by a news media that has been anti-Trump for five years. Well, no, I ain’t buying their “Orange man supporters bad” crap.

That’s after the head of the DoJ—a Trump appointee—stated that he had seen no evidence of significant irregularities, and after the head systems expert of the Department of Homeland Security stated this was probably the most secure election in our nation’s history.
Election outcomes have never been more certain than that. There’s simply no reasonable basis for any remaining questions about the result, nor is there any excuse for inciting a mob to attempt to derail the electoral count process by marching on the Capitol and intimidating our elected officials to declare the loser to be the winner.
Today’s impeachment vote was the response to that effort.

Biden Take Office On Steps Of The Capital
Today 20,000 National Guard attended the swearing in of President Biden. Jim Acosta reports that the Guard wanted to show their support for the newly inaugurated president.
It’s difficult for me to view a violent mob that seized control the Capitol, put members of Congress in fear for their lives, threatened to hang the Vice President, and killed a Capitol Police Officer in the process as victims.
I don’t much care that the man who incited them to violence threw the words “peacefully and patriotically” into the hour-long harangue that immediately preceded the riot. He reiterated all of the discredited lies about a stolen election, asserted that he had won by a landslide, stated he would never concede, and encouraged his followers to head on over to the Capitol where the electoral count was in progress, where their actions would somehow embolden supporting legislators and Pence to disregard all lawful constitutional process, overturn the “fraudulent” results of the election, and declare him the winner.

He encouraged anyone that went to the Capital to support those that were supporting investigations of voter fraud. He never told anyone to commit any violence in no form or fashion. If you think describing the Democrat fraud incites violence, many you shouldn’t be supporting those who COMMITTED the fraud or the fraud itself. At any rate, you’ve been unable to provide anything Trump said that incited any violence so both you and I know YOU know there was no incitement of violence by Trump.

As pointed out earlier, people weren’t lined up waiting for Trump to utter the final word of his speech and fire his little starter pistol into the air before setting out toward the Capitol. The speech was steamed live; anyone anywhere in DC could have watched it in real time. Nor did the attack begin before his speech ended. There was time enough for any able-bodied person to cover the distance between the rally site and the Capitol on foot.
ANTIFA had nothing to do with this. None of the people identified and arrested so far have any connection with ANTIFA.

It isn’t possible to prove something to those who are determined to believe the opposite without need for credible evidence.
