Why the f**k should Trump trust the assessment of the IC heads who wanted to take him down? Give me a reason

There is much hand-wringing and consternation over the Trump-Putin presser. No response was more over the top than that of John Brennan:

We have told over and over and over that the Russians were trying to hack the election. Today Ezra Klein wrote that the 2016 election was “sabotaged.”

But who has seen the proof? Have you?

We were told over and over that 17 agencies agreed on the assessment. That was a lie.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper does not know what caused the now-debunked claim that all 17 intelligence agencies backed an assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election to spread.

Clapper discussed the matter on CNN on Thursday evening, prompted by comments earlier in the day from President Donald Trump.

While in Warsaw, Poland for the G-20 summit, Trump was asked about the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia interfered in the election and his doubts about Moscow’s role. Trump challenged the popular “17 agencies” figure, pointing out that it had been shown to be false.

“It turned out to be three or four. It wasn’t 17,” he said.

But who’s on that list?

Comey- who hated Trump

Brennan- who hates Trump

Clapper- who hates Trump

On what evidence was the assessment made? The FBI was never allowed to examine the DNC servers.

The Democratic National Committee “rebuffed” a request from the FBI to examine its computer services after it was allegedly hacked by Russia during the 2016 election, a senior law enforcement official told CNN Thursday.

“The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated,” a senior law enforcement official told CNN. “This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third party for information. These actions caused significant delays and inhibited the FBI from addressing the intrusion earlier.”

Later, the DNC would claim that the FBI never requested access to the servers.

“The DNC had several meetings with representatives of the FBI’s Cyber Division and its Washington Field Office, the Department of Justice’s National Security Division, and US Attorney’s Offices, and it responded to a variety of requests for cooperation, but the FBI never requested access to the DNC’s computer servers,” Eric Walker, the DNC’s deputy communications director, told BuzzFeed News.

Today saw some media hacks trying to rewrite the story:

https://twitter.com/paulsperry_/status/1018890695946440705

So who is everyone depending on for the Russian connection?

Crowdstrike

Crowdstrike has a credibility problem:

An influential British think tank and Ukraine’s military are disputing a report that the U.S. cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has used to buttress its claims of Russian hacking in the presidential election.

The CrowdStrike report, released in December, asserted that Russians hacked into a Ukrainian artillery app, resulting in heavy losses of howitzers in Ukraine’s war with Russian-backed separatists.

But the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) told VOA that CrowdStrike erroneously used IISS data as proof of the intrusion. IISS disavowed any connection to the CrowdStrike report. Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense also has claimed combat losses and hacking never happened.

A CrowdStrike spokesperson told VOA that it stands by its findings, which, they say, “have been confirmed by others in the cybersecurity community.”

The challenges to CrowdStrike’s credibility are significant because the firm was the first to link last year’s hacks of Democratic Party computers to Russian actors, and because CrowdStrike co-founder Dimiti Alperovitch has trumpeted its Ukraine report as more evidence of Russian election tampering.

Lee Stranahan:

The Crowdstrike report, titled “Use of Fancy Bear Android Malware in Tracking of Ukrainian Field Artillery Units“, was issued by the company on December 22, 2016. It’s a slickly produced document, with a frightening comic book-style cover and plenty of charts and graphs. Crowdstrike’s villain in the report is Fancy Bear, which they say is a hacking group controlled by Russia’s GRU intelligence agency. Crowdstrike itself gave the group the name Fancy Bear, with ‘Bear’ referring to Russia and ‘Fancy’ referring to the song Fancy by Iggy Izalea.

On June 15, 2016 Crowdstrike claimed that Fancy Bear was behind the DNC hacks in an article title Bears in the Midst: Intrusion into the Democratic National Committee. That post came the day after the Washington Post published an article claiming Russian government hackers penetrated DNC and stole opposition research on Trump, quoting Crowdstrike’s co-founder Dmitri Alperovitch, who is scheduled to testify Monday in front of the House Intel committee hearing. In that June WaPo article, Alperovitch seemed unsure on details but pinned the hack on Fancy Bear:

CrowdStrike is not sure how the hackers got in. The firm suspects they may have targeted DNC employees with “spearphishing” emails. These are communications that appear legitimate — often made to look like they came from a colleague or someone trusted — but that contain links or attachments that when clicked on deploy malicious software that enables a hacker to gain access to a computer. “But we don’t have hard evidence,” Alperovitch said. The two groups did not appear to be working together, Alperovitch said. Fancy Bear is believed to work for the GRU, or Russia’s military intelligence service, he said.

Let us repeat a relevant portion:

“But we don’t have hard evidence,”

Thus the only basis for the assessment may never have happened.

And, BTW, who was in charge when all this was allegedly going on?   Obama, Brennan, Clapper and Comey. And let’s not forget that it was the obama administration who issued a “stand down” order in response to alleged Russian cyber attacks.

Now why would they do that?

Here are some things we DO know

Mollie Hemingway reminds us of something obama said:

Andy McCarthy points out that Rod Rosenstein screwed the pooch with the indictments of the Russians:

What there will be, though, is a new international order in which nation-states are encouraged to file criminal charges against each other’s officials for actions deemed to be provocative (or, more accurately, actions that can be exploited for domestic political purposes). Of all government officials in the world, American officials are the most active on the global stage — and that includes meddling in other countries’ elections. I doubt our diplomats, intelligence operatives, elected officials, and citizens will much like living in the world Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein have given us. If the idea was to give Vladimir Putin and his thug regime a new way to sabotage the United States, nice work.

All day I have watched the screeching anguish of liberals moaning that Trump does not side with the American intelligence community.

Why should he?

Brennan hated and hates Trump.

Comey hated and hates Trump.

Strzok rigged investigations against Trump

McCabe did the same

Clapper hated and hates Trump

All US intelligence agencies were out to take Trump down. Someone tell me why, when every intel agency outside the NSA was out to get Trump that he should trust them and the assessment of a firm hired by the DNC? Why should he trust the assessment of those who created a fake dossier?

If not for Mike Rogers, they would have framed Trump long ago.

What Trump has done is throw done the gauntlet. You say it’s Russians?

PROVE IT.

Produce the servers and let the FBI examine them. CrowdStrike had “no hard evidence” and their findings weren’t solid.

The left is making some serious accusations. PROVE THEM, you gutless cowards.

Streamed the news conference, Trump says prove it Putin says bring it on. Seems both leaders want peace and resolutions for world issues that will bring stability to troubled areas of the planet. Barron gets a cool ball from the World Cup. I prefer this to DUCK and COVER and Terrorism threat advisory scale at any level. War mongers and those desperately hoping for total failure of the USA just so Trump looks bad, are losing their narrow minds. Next time the Secret Service allows some clown to ultra-light in a no fly zone without shooting it down, every last one of them should be canned. He was within meters of the President. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-trump-europe-protests-20180715-story.html

We need ICE more then we ever need the DNC anyone for opening our nation to invasion from enemy nations are traitors and need to be tried,convicted and sent to prison for the rest of their lives

Let’s turn that question around: Why should Donald Trump trust Vladimir Putin more than our own nation’s intelligence community?

Trump just colluded with Russia. Openly.

The DNC, in denying the FBI access to the server and using, instead, a private, more friendly service to examine the server, was doing the same thing Hillary did with her private, secret, unsecured email server. They are trying to control the results. Hillary used her server so, at a moment’s notice, she could delete 33,000 emails that could be damaging to her if they were seen and avoid any FOIA requests. Likewise, the DNC used a service which, since they were paying them, they could tell them, “Here. Go find THIS.” and then give them the instructions for what they want to results to be.

The left seems to think we should look at all these events as unrelated and isolated happenings. They aren’t; it is a concerted effort to direct attention away from the failures and collusion of the Democrats and point it towards Trump.

@Greg:

Trump just colluded with Russia. Openly.

There is enough propaganda where I don’t have to pay a dollar to read some more. So, tell me, HOW did Trump collude and should the $400,000 payment to Hillary by the Russians?

I guess we are seeing why none of these people are ever charged when they commit perjury. It would ruin their ongoing credibility.

@DrJohn: Just as importantly, WHY did Obama not lift a finger to stop this horrendous interference? Did Obama think it would only affect Trump? Or, did he anticipate Hillary would win easily, despite the interference, and IF she lost, the “interference” would hamstring Trump?

It doesn’t appear Trump performed well at this summit, but what about the enormous mess (one of many) Obama left in Trump’s lap, either by incompetence or intention? Hypocrisy explains most of it, but not all.

Oh yes he openly colluded with Putin and the pair of Glorious bastids are going to stick it to Mullers and his dream team. Mueller PONY UP certainly you know of the treaty. Im sure our agencies can load all the evidence into cargo plane or 2 and join with our allies from WW2 to bring justice.
Putin put all doubt to rest of who he preferred in the race, it wasn’t Hillary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srwxJUXPHvE.
Not even for 400 million plus speaking fees.

@DrJohn: True. Putin didn’t spy on Trump’s campaign, either. Although, the argument could be made that the Obama administration and those rogue agents and directors in the DOJ and FBI ACTED as if they were taking orders directly from Putin.

After Obama, the entire government needs rehabilitation. The media is about beyond redemption.

“I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest.”

Winston Churchhill, 1938

While the issue on the left’s agenda is Trump, there are actually two issues here; first, Russian hacking of the DNC computers plus the leaking of Hillary Clinton and John Podesta’s emails and collusion with the Russians by the Trump campaign. They are NOT one and the same but the left, along with aid from the press, have made them one and the same.

And no where in the reporting of this yugh scandal is any mention of Debbie Wasseran-Schulz, her Pakistani IT team and the money they were receiving while trying to get out of the U.S., while Donna Brazile, who, along with Jeh Johnson, has ratted out Wasserman-Schultz:

“On June 14 Debbie invited the Democratic Party officers to a conference call to alert us that a story about hacking the DNC that would be published in the Washington Post the following day. That call was the first time we’d heard that there was a problem. Debbie’s tone was so casual that I had not absorbed the details, nor even thought that it was much for us to be concerned about. Her manner indicated that this hacking thing was something she had covered. But had she? …

In June, Wasserman Schultz claimed that neither the FBI nor any other government agency contacted her about the hacking of the DNC’s computer networks. The former DNC’s claim was rebuffed by former DHS head Jeh Johnson, who testified to the House Intelligence Committee that the FBI reached out to help the DNC, but [the DNC] opted to reply [sic – rely?] on a private cybersecurity company for assistance.”

And what is the “witch hunt” that Trump keeps referring to: the investigation into collusion by his campaign with the Russians. There simply is NO proof of that, none, zip, nada. Trump, time after time, has acknowledged Russian interference into our elections which, btw, did not alter one vote, hack one voting machine, prevent one person from voting.

Trump is correct in asking about the servers, Hillary’s wiped with BleachBit. Where are they and why did the DNC refuse (according to Jeh Johnson) to turn them over? Why did Wasserman-Schultz, who was aware of the hacking, allow it to continue for weeks? Why did the indictment of the 12 Russians not mention that there was also an attempt to hack into the RNC’s computers and was only prevented by a super effective firewall?

We know that the Clinton campaign paid for the infamous “dossier” that was provided to the FBI in at least two forms. We know that and FBI agent’s wife was working for the company that created the “dossier.” and that he provided it to the FBI.

This scandal, if you want to call it that, is a Rubic’s Cube not meant to be solved because all the players, Obama, Brennen, Comey, Wasserman-Schultz, Clapper, were on the same team. If the facts reveal there was no collusion on the part of the Trump campaign, if the facts show that Wasserman-Schultz, who has been unusually quite lately, allowed the hacking of the DNC’s computers to continue, if the facts show that the DNC’s servers have since been destroyed in a CYA effort, which I believe is the case, the whole Democrat argument against Trump dissipates and the Democrats will have to fess up that Donald J. Trump won the election fair and square and that will kill any power they have to thwart this Administration and will make them look like the conspirators they are who place power above the nation.

Trump definitely needs to clarify some of his comments.

Sundance had some very interesting takes on what is going on with these coupsters. They need to remember something, they don’t hold all the cards, Trump does. He knows the extent of their power abuses and crimes because he was briefed on them and he has access to the comms. He most likely knows what was on Weiner’s laptop and of all the evidence of criminal wrongdoing by the Clintons and demokrats in Congress that was found on there by the NYPD. We have a situation kind of like GWB’s. The left pounded him with the “Bush lied and people died” lie because Iraq was WMD free when in fact redacted intel documents clearly show it wasn’t. Bush didn’t declassify the documents while he was POTUS for whatever reason, most likely because he didn’t want to appear as though he was politicizing the intel. Trump may not play by those rules. He may decide to declassify enough of this to blow the coupsters out of the water. Right around October may be his target date.

If true, a whole big can of worms. Why weren’t we told about this? She apparently also contradicted Stzrok’s Congressional testimony and said that he meant everything he said in his text messages.

FBI: Lisa Page Dimes Out Top FBI Officials During Classified House Testimony; Bureau Bosses Covered Up Evidence China Hacked Hillary’s Top Secret Emails

Obama, Brennen, Comey, Wasserman-Schultz, Clapper, Hillary, Rice, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Orr: all confirmed liars, not only in general, but also about this specific issue. Yet, Trump is criticized because he does not implicitly trust anything and everything that comes out of the IC? Obama ruined its credibility and there will need to be a major enema of it for it ever to be credible again.

@another vet:

He knows the extent of their power abuses and crimes because he was briefed on them and he has access to the comms.

Yet, who can Trump turn to for justice? Even if we now HAD the DNC server, would the FBI examine it objectively? There is now widespread distrust throughout government. The Russians didn’t do this… Obama and the Democrats (with some slimy Republican help) did it.

The left pounded him with the “Bush lied and people died” lie because Iraq was WMD free when in fact redacted intel documents clearly show it wasn’t.

Remember how revered the IC was in the left’s eyes then?

@another vet:

If true, a whole big can of worms.

Congressman Gohmert made reference to that in his chastisement of Strzok. And remember, Gohmert was quite clear; a foreign actor did the hacking and it wasn’t Russia.

The lame stream media, including Fox, ignored that part of Gohmert’s statement and played the shell game by focusing only on Gohmert’s statement about Strzok’s infidelity.

Churchill didn’t trust Stalin and was furious with FDR over the concessions FDR was willing to make to the leader of Russia. Truman, when meeting with Churchill and Stalin at Potsdam, was surprised over Stalin’s lack of surprise when Truman announced some information regarding the atom bomb. He shouldn’t have been; Stalin had operatives who had been reporting back to him on every aspect of our weapons testing and were actually involved in the program. Remember, the Venona Papers proved McCarthy 90% and in order to shut McCarthy down, the head staffer for LBJ started the scandal that McCarthy was an alcoholic, another import fact of history that has been ignored.

Russia has been spying on us, and other nations, did all the hacking (if it really was Russia and not China) under Obama’s nose and have been doing spying since 1918 but now the Democrats are shouting but, but…………………Trump.

I suspect if the truth ever reveals itself regarding Russia gate, and the illegal actions of the Obama administration, it will make Watergate look like a footnote.

Rosenstein summoned to the White House this glorious morning.
On Monday, Freedom Caucus leaders Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan also urged DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz to investigate whether Rosenstein threatened congressional staffers with “subpoena” earlier in the year.

@kitt:

We know that the deep state spied on members of Congress as well as certain journalists. That was all under Obama and illegal as hell Even Bubby Clinton was not as paranoid, nor as deceptive, as Obama.

@another vet: Trump definitely needs to clarify some of his comments.

Putin, too.
Has everyone been exposed to the fake news that Putin said he did have officials who he sent to help Trump win?
It originally came during questioning by Reuters’ Jeff Mason.
Jeff’s “take,” which is fake news, is here: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-russia-summit/trump-sits-down-with-putin-after-denouncing-past-u-s-policy-on-russia-idUSKBN1K601D
But the entire transcript along with video is out there.
Jeff misrepresented his question …. BADLY.
Then he pretended he misunderstood Putin’s answer.
He asked a question to Putin which Trump took 1st bite off.
Then Putin began his answer to the compound question.
He moved from the fact that he never interfered with the election to the subject of a treaty between USA & Russia so nationals from one another’s countries can be investigated mutually.
THEN Jeff added a bit to his original question.
And Jeff let the term, “that” hang as to what it applied.
Putin took it to apply to his last words, Yes, officials from Russia cooperate in this agreement to cooperate in investigating nationals from one another’s country.
Jeff knew that what Putin’s “Yes….” applied to this.
But he misrepresented it by pretending the entire mid-part of his question didn’t even exist!
And the media’s been running with this fake news all day!

Many transcript/videos on line. Here is one:

All of the RINOs and Dems hate what Donald did. I bet their billionaire cronies didn’t like it either. That’s the whole Swamp.
I love it. He is pissing off all of the right people.

China is meddling in our elections now much more than any other foreign country, and yet the MSM doesn’t mention them.

But worse than that – worse than if all foreign nations tried to meddle in our elections – is that our own Leftist DC government meddles in our elections.
That’s what certainly needs to stop.

Paul Ryan, RINO, said this a.m. that Russia interfered in our elections. Interfered how? Did Russian troops block the polling locations? Did they prevent anyone from voting like Hillary’s people have been know to do and was covered up by the press?

No, the action Ryan is calling interference is hacking into the DNC/Hillary/Podesta computers and servers. And who stood to benefit the most from the information obtained from those servers? Bernie Sanders, folks. He was the winner, not Trump. Bernie Sanders learned flat out the DNC was trying to fix the election for Hillary. A another fact the press now wants to ignore.

The IC used unverified reports paid for by Clinton to say that Russia hacked.

The IC used unverified reports paid for by Clinton to get fraudulent FISA warrants to spy on Trump’s campaign.

Mueller already indicted Russians once and when the Russians came to court, Mueller didn’t have any evidence against them and begged the judge to put off the trial. As if we could forget that.

A person would have to be a moron’s moron to believe anything the IC says.

@retire05: Apparently now we are told they interfered was to hack emails and expose facts.

Say WHAAAAAAA?

@Deplorable Me:

What was exposed was that the Hillary campaign was in total control over the DNC which was supposed to not take a side between Democrat candidates. It did although the DNC is an independent organization. Donna Brazile has let all the dirty laundry out to the public AFTER Gucifer revealed the dirty little secret.

Of course, Chuck (The Schmuck) Shumer is now demanding a Congressional hearing to interrogate those who were with Trump in the Trump/Putin meeting. Remember, this is the same guy who thought the Bengazi hearings were just postering on the part of Republicans.

Did Trump get rolled by Putin as the left wing press and the #NeverTrumpers are claiming? Watch Trump’s facial expressions when Putin is speaking and tell me he was believing every word Putin says. I don’t think so.

The biggest threat to our nation is not Putin. It is the left wing, like Brennen and Tom Perez, that would shove us into Socialism in a heart beat.

@Deplorable Me: retire05 and Nan

Trump knew what he was doing. He clarified his comments today and said he accepts the intel community’s conclusion about Russia meddling in our elections. What he did yesterday was to illicit an unhinged response from the left. They called his behavior treasonous and traitorous. With that as a backdrop, now they will have now have to explain why Hillary allowing China to access her top secret emails thereby damaging National Security doesn’t rise to the same level given it is much worse. The coupsters will also have to answer why their covering up of that doesn’t rise above the bar they set for Trump’s comments. In a nutshell, he got them to convict themselves of treason and traitorous behavior.

It is also quite apparent now why Page didn’t make her first Congressional appearance. She wanted Strzok to go first so he could lie and then she could throw him under the bus. The fact that she cooperated with Congress means she is probably also cooperating with Huber’s grand jury. Who knows, maybe some of those missing texts have been turned over to them. Hopefully she doesn’t end up like Seth Rich.

@retire05: Astounding how they defend FDR after he embraced someone like “Uncle Joe” who murdered millions. It’s also telling how Obama and Hillary never denounced the CPUSA’s endorsements of their candidacies. It says a lot. I guess there must be a special bond between the modern demokrats and them.

@DrJohn, #4:

I can give you a snarky answer- Putin wasn’t trying to destroy Trump. Brennan, Comey and Clapper were.

Putin wasn’t trying to destroy Trump. He preferred to have Trump in the White House rather than Hillary Clinton. The deepening confusion that has followed was his intended objective. We’re effectively diminishing ourselves as a Russia’s geopolitical opponent. This is all a result of Putin’s carefully calculated moves.

I don’t see any clear way out of the dilemma. If we were all to get behind Trump, we’d be getting behind someone who clearly lacks insight into Putin’s ambitions and manipulations. Democrats aren’t the only ones who are increasingly worried about that.

If we vigorously oppose Trump, we’re feeding the internal divisions that Putin has been working to encourage and exploit.

I’d like to hear serious suggestions about an Option #3.

@another vet:

Astounding how they defend FDR after he embraced someone like “Uncle Joe”

It was necessary to defeat Nazi Germany. FDR always saw Stalin for what he was.
Our posture toward Stalinist Russia began to shift the moment Hitler put a bullet through his head.

@Greg:

Putin wasn’t trying to destroy Trump. He preferred to have Trump in the White House rather than Hillary Clinton.

So, why didn’t Putin reveal the $400,000 the Russians slipped Hillary if he was trying to do her in?

I’d like to hear serious suggestions about an Option #3.

How about this: allow Trump to do his job and judge him on the outcome? I sincerely doubt he could do more damage in 4 years (if you are right, he’ll be replaced) than Obama did in 8 and we survived that. If Obama, against every indication, clearly saw Putin and his intentions, he failed miserably to counteract them. After all, he stood by with his thumb up his ass while the Russians interfered, didn’t he?

FDR always saw Stalin for what he was.

Is that why he turned Eastern Europe over to him?

Now, does that $400K injection of funds to Hillary’s campaign warrant an investigation?

How about this: allow Trump to do his job and judge him on the outcome?

Sure, why not? Then we can politely ask Vladimir Putin to step back across any additional national borders he has violated, sort out any non-Russian elections he has interfered with, and resurrect from the dead any political opponents or investigative journalists that he’s recently had murdered.

Is that why he turned Eastern Europe over to him?

FDR died before the allies achieved victory in Europe. Presumably you know that Russia was opposing Germany from the east, while the United States and the United Kingdom were opposing Germany from the west. Stalin took control of the territory he captured from the Third Reich. FDR didn’t give Stalin anything.

@Greg:

Sure, why not? Then we can politely ask Vladimir Putin to step back across any additional national borders he has violated, sort out any non-Russian elections he has interfered with, and resurrect from the dead any political opponents or investigative journalists that he’s recently had murdered.

Aside from the FACT that Trump annexed Crimea and established himself in Syria and Iran under Obama’s watchful eye, are you in agreement that, unless some clear sign of some sort of REAL wrongdoing were to rear its ugly head, the left should back off and, if not offer support when interests align, at least get out of the goddamn way?

FDR died before the allies achieved victory in Europe. Presumably you know that Russia was opposing Germany from the east, while the United States and the United Kingdom were opposing Germany from the west. Stalin took control of the territory he captured from the Third Reich. FDR didn’t give Stalin anything.

At Yalta, Stalin laid out his spheres of influence and Roosevelt gave Uncle Joe his rein. Churchill objected but could do nothing without the US.

Any word on that investigation into Hillary scoring $400K from the Russians for her campaign? Anything?

Trump gets NATO members to spend more on defense

Why does Trump keep letting Russia get away with stuff like..?

@kitt: Keep in mind, liberals have no idea what leadership looks like. They’ve never voted for it.

@Deplorable Me, #30:

At Yalta, Stalin laid out his spheres of influence and Roosevelt gave Uncle Joe his rein.

You seem to be under the impression that Russian military forces were under the command and control of FDR or the Combined Chiefs of Staff or some such. They weren’t. They were under the sole control of Joseph Stalin. Stalin’s forces occupied Eastern Europe. They didn’t require FDR’s permission. He didn’t give away Eastern Europe. You can’t give away what you don’t have to begin with. Do you imagine FDR believed going to war over Eastern Europe with the Soviet Union was an option, with the war in the Pacific still ahead of us?

As for Poland, it was Churchill who was for some reason convinced that Stalin would allow free elections—not FDR.

@Greg: And, of course, Obama displayed that famous “flexibility” by granting Putin HIS sphere of influence in Syria. What a red line!

@Greg:

FDR died before the allies achieved victory in Europe. Presumably you know that Russia was opposing Germany from the east, while the United States and the United Kingdom were opposing Germany from the west. Stalin took control of the territory he captured from the Third Reich. FDR didn’t give Stalin anything.

For years, I wondered how the German people bought into the plans of Hitler. People like you answer that question. You are ill informed, know little of history and accept anything the left wing writes.

Now for a little truth:

.
FDR went to the Yalta accords with the intention of giving “Stalin whatever he wanted and asking for nothing in return” in order to secure the peace. When it came to policy issues dealing with Stalin, he turned that over to Alger Hiss (remember him?). Yes, Russia was entering Germany from the east and the Brits and U.S. from the west, but the goal was to beat the Ruskies to Berlin. FDR ordered Eisenhower to let the Russian troops enter Berlin while other military leaders, General Patton included, advised that there was to be no concessions to the Russian troops, that the U.S. could be Russia to Berlin and therefor control all of Germany territory and that not to do so, it would come back to bite us in the rear. Eisenhower complied with FDR’s directive.

FDR also wanted Stalin to join forces in the Pacific theater. Stalin flatly refused. FDR got rolled by Stalin. Perhaps because FDR has a fondness for Stalin, even knowing how Stalin was a mass murder, when entering Hungry allowed his troops to commit mass murder and even massive rapes of Hungarian women and allowed those atrocities to continue as the Russian troops marched toward Berlin. In Berlin, Russian troops raped over 1,000,000 German women. Shortly before his death, FDR admitted that Stalin broke every promise made to FDR.

It is clear, for anyone who reads history that is not revisionist, that FDR held sympathies for Communism. Just look at some of the things he did (WPA, et al) and who he surrounded himself with; Harry Lloyd Hopkins, Henry Dexter White who was later found to be a Soviet informant, and Rex Tugwell, who was called “Rex, the Red” due to his Russian (Communist) sympathies while he was a member of FDR’s brain trust.

I highly recommend you open your eyes, learn true history and hopefully, you will turn from your Socialist supporting ways.

Maybe you should have spent more time watching History and less watching The Apprentice.

@Greg:

Maybe you should have spent more time watching History and less watching The Apprentice.

LOL. I have never watched The Apprentice. Ever. But every book in my yuge collection is on history, nothing else. I am sure the books on your shelf are all made by Marvel. You’ve proven that with your lack of knowledge.

Greggie, you are, and remain, an idiot.

@Deplorable Me:

Browder’s War With Sidanco

a thread to uranium one
https://rense.com//general96/senatewitness3.html

@retire05: Furthermore, let us not forget that without Molotov signing the Non-Aggression Pact, there probably would have been no World War II. Using the Soviet Union to help defeat Nazi Germany was one thing but thanking Stalin for causing the war by giving him Eastern Europe probably should have been run past those countries first.

@retire05: FDR quote speaking with William C. Bullitt: Bill, I don’t dispute your facts; they are accurate. I don’t dispute the logic of your reasoning. I just have a hunch that Stalin is not that kind of man. Harry [Hopkins] says he’s not and that he doesn’t want anything but security for his country, and I think if I give him everything I possibly can and ask for nothing in return, noblesse oblige, he won’t try to annex anything and will work with me for a world of democracy and peace.
A Progressive hero.
Trump has only given Putin a promise of competition for NG sales to Europe.

@kitt:

Yep, Kitt, that’s the quote. And Harry Hopkins was a Russian sympathizer who thought that Stalin had all the answers for Russia.

McCarthy was raked over the coals (yeah, some of what he said was not accurate) but basically, the Federal government under FDR was loaded with Communists. And I do mean loaded.

Rex Tugwell went on to join the “Progressive” Party and was part of the Committee To Frame A World Constitution. One world, one constitution.

@retire05: I dont trust Putin dont even like him but what is more to fear is the enemy within those that push the one world order, dreamed of since WW1.
I will give to Putin an atta boy for taking in the refugees from S. Africa, before complete genocide. 15000 will be safe from rape and murder by the Mandala Legacy. With all the farmers gone they will be the next starving Africans.

@kitt:

Read Masters of Deceit by J. Edgar Hoover. You can get it in paperback. You will never look at the Democratic Party the same again.

What do you people not understand about the straightforward historical fact that Stalin seized what Hitler had previously conquered? The assertion that FDR somehow gave him Eastern Europe is totally nuts.

@Greg:

Tell us all, Greggie; what part of France did Stalin seize or do you think that Hitler didn’t conquer France?

Even when given accurate history, you are so brainwashed that you cannot accept it. But I realize that after decades of revisionist history about FDR, your poor lame brain just can’t accept real history.

You’re an idiot.

@Greg:What did he do to prevent it?

@Greg: So, the US could have annexed France and Italy? Face, while Obama didnt give away as much as FDR, he still followed his example.

@Deplorable Bill:

Of course Obama followed in FDR’s footsteps. FDR was our first semi-Socialist president.

@another vet: So you’re saying DT admits he screwed up in his Helsinki press conference–has corrected himself–and all is well.
Have I got that right?
So—he believes Russians meddled in 2016 elections–did not effect outcome–no collusion with Russians by himself or his staff.
Is that correct?

Does he believe Russians are meddling currently?

Bonus question—does he believe in a free press and their protection from extremist violence?
Thanks RW

@Richard Wheeler: Your Party does not believe in free speech: On Prime Day, Muslim Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) — the runner-up in the race to become chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) — sent a letter to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos demanding that Amazon.com stop selling products from organizations marked as “hate groups” by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). He likely intended to call for the removal of KKK and Neo-Nazi products, but his letter also effectively demanded the banning of books published by many Christian organizations the SPLC falsely labels “hateful.”
Book burners?
Who s calling for violence? Congressman Cohen, who is calling for the overthrow of the President? MSLSD suggested rewriting the constitution and replace the President. Pay attention Marine become aware. They hire the same men that spied on an opposing political party, proven liars to call treason on the victim. So terrified of the real dossiers Putin has on them and their illegal activities globally.
