Gorsuch Scrabble (democrat version)

Donald Trump has nominated Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court. Gorsuch, in the mold of Antonin Scalia, is incredibly qualified for the job.

He spent time in Washington, D.C. and attended Georgetown Preparatory School. He studied at Columbia, Harvard and Oxford.

He went on to clerk for Judge David B. Sentelle on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit from 1991–1992, and then for United States Supreme Court Justices Byron White and Anthony Kennedy from 1993–1994. That connection as a former Kennedy clerk could be highly useful in securing the vote of the perennial swing voter of the court.

Gorsuch was a unanimous choice as a judge for the 10th Circuit in 2006, including the vote of one Ron Wyden. But that, as they say, was so then:

It is great choice and as such will do something more than fill the Supreme Court. This will help democrats destroy themselves and their party. The man is essentially bullet proof, unassailable. Of course, that will not deter them as you can plainly see. I figured we might make a game of this- Gorsuch Scrabble- so I am offering a collection of Scrabble letters for you to check off as you see democrats use them.

There are likely a few letters missing, and here are a few bonus letters I also expect you’ll see be used:

And as for those democrats, leave them alone. They have 10 Senate seats up for grabs in 2018 in states won by Trump.

As Napoleon said: “Never interfere with your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

Have fun playing!

We also need to keep Clarence Thomas in there as well any one who the liberal pantiewaste oppose is good for america and its people

Gee, obama, shumer and mrs clinton all voted for Gorsuch. And, Gorsuch went to Harvard at the same time as wait for it………

obama.

It would be an excellent question during confirmation hearings if he ever saw the former president even once while at Harvard.

He will and should be appointed to the Supreme Court. He was nominated 95-0 to last time around.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has to have put on dippers when the appointment was announced-oh, that is right. According to her, it Trump won, she was going to leave the country, so now there will be another set available.

If only protest was legislation, for liberals are far more able to organize an instantaneous protest than they are to be able to successfully govern. Somehow, they can find wronged citizens, motivate marchers, produce the applicable signage and stage a protest that almost looks sincere at the drop of a hat; if only that energy was in some way useful and productive.

I hope Republicans do not employ the nuclear option in this case and establish that precedent here. We don’t need any more of that.

@Bill:

All true. In addition, they know when to end the protest as well. When they hear the bus engines start up, they drop their preprinted signs where they are standing and board the bus to get their pay and then go home until the next protest.

Joe Biden Argued for Delaying Supreme Court Picks in 1992

WASHINGTON — As a senator more than two decades ago, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. argued that President George Bush should delay filling a Supreme Court vacancy, should one arise, until the presidential election was over, and that it was “essential” that the Senate refuse to confirm a nominee to the court until then.

Let me see… Merrick Garland was nominated to fill the empty Supreme Court seat by President Barack Obama in February, 2016. Senate republicans refused to consider this entirely qualified nominee or to allow a vote for a period of 10 months, leaving another branch of the government seriously impaired. (They had already impaired the Legislative Branch by way of their own incompetence. Never have so many earned so much by accomplishing so little.)

Now they’re upset because democrats are considering returning the favor. Suddenly it’s an irresponsible partisan tactic.

Maybe democrats should hold out for a few months, until Trump is impeached, just to make a point. It might be less than 10.

@Greg: There is no question in my mind that Trump could face impeachment proceedings in the next 24 months—-and it won’t be Democrats that bring him down.
Just as it was Repubs that brought down Nixon.

@July 4th American:

if he ever saw the former president even once while at Harvard.

We all know Obama was an affirmative action project sponsored by Saudi Arabia (explains his bowing to the king) Obama knew he didn’t have to attend class, his diploma was printed when Harvard received their huge bonus for admitting him, with the understanding he would get an affirmative action appointment to the Harvard Law Review. It is certainly likely that they never saw each other there, I’m sure they weren’t in the same social circle.

As you well know, to be fair, the Senate said prior to any nomination for the Supreme Court last year, that no matter who was nominated, no vote would be taken, that with the election coming up, they were going to let the voters decide which party filled the vacancy. And surely you’ve seen the speech by Biden in 92 saying no way should Bush nominate a Judge in an election year, that he should leave it til after the election that year. Are the Dims memories really that bad? Yes they are. No vacancy occurring in an election year in the final term of a president has ever been filled. at least not in the last century.

Anybody seen AJ around? I know his trolling experience was scheduled to end at the end of January. So I guess he’s gone.

@Richard Wheeler:

Just as it was Repubs that brought down Nixon.

resorting to fiction now, RW? Sam Ervin was hardly a Republican.

@Greg: Greggie Greggie Greggie, big difference. First of all demonraps have no power to stop this well qualified nomination and I doubt they will even filibuster. If they are stupid enough to do so, then the Reid bill will be applied as it was for the lower courts and America will proceed. In addition when Biden was in the Senate he argued against an appointment for the Supreme Court with a lame duck President. And Obola was the lamest of all. If the demoncraps boycott the committee hearings the Republicans will proceed without them and this IS allowable. Another way as Demoncraps did is recess congress and Trump can appoint for a year assignment. Any way you look at it Greggie your a loser!!

Indeed, republicans will ultimately have their way in this and most other things—and then be held fully accountable for the consequences in the next midterm election.

If Trump is not reined in by republicans, the next election will become a national referendum concerning Donald Trump. It will become a national referendum on Republicans Gone Wild.

The democrats have zero to offer othe than vagina hats.

Has anyone pointed out to you lately that your posts are becoming increasingly vulgar? You do realize your lot won the election, don’t you? It would be nice if you could dial back the angry a-hole a bit.

Truth often offends the weak.

@Greg:

and then be held fully accountable for the consequences in the next midterm election.

yes and didn’t it work out great. The Rep’s have made gains in both of the last two midterms and even more so during this last presidential year. That means they gained in 10, 14 and 16. Love those consequences. Actually, it would probably be interpreted more correctly as the Dim’s were held accountable for their piss poor shenanigans during those years.

@Greg:

Has anyone pointed out to you lately that your posts are becoming increasingly vulgar?

Greg, the women wearing them, refer to them as ‘pussy hats’. now I don’t know about you but I don’t think ‘vagina hats’ sounds quite as vulgar. What say you?

@Greg:

It would be nice if you could dial back the angry a-hole a bit.

Do you really think the anger is coming from the Repub side since the election? Wow.

It seems to me that the participants of the “march” engaged in quite a bit of vulgarity. The ashly juggs poem was quite inspiring. I wonder what effect it has had upon those attending who were under the age of 10?

Or the outward diplay of thos genital parts worn by the attending moonbats….

@RedTeam: Poor Greggie is having real issues with reality!! The harder he whines the more pathetic he sounds, if that’s possible!!
