Fellow conservatives, I am posting today to ask for your help exposing a rising star in conservative politics. One of my childhood friends, Dave White (www.DAVEforCongress2010.com), has just announced his candidacy for Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District, currently held by Mary Fallon, who is running for governor and vacating the seat. I have known Dave White all of my life and this guy is the real deal. He is going to change the way conservatives run campaigns and serve the people. He has the policy mind of Paul Ryan, the down home appeal of Scott Brown, and the communication skills of Ronald Reagan—he’s simply a stud.
Dave is a former Navy SEAL, was president of his class at Annapolis, and is business owner. He has six children in lives on a 26 acre ranch in Deer Creek Oklahoma. He is rejecting all special interest money and will only accept campaign contributions from individuals living or working in the district, with a $100 maximum contribution limit.
Dave believes America is the greatest nation on earth—he’s spent 17 years of his life serving this great country. He can no longer standby while politicians continue to overlook the needs of people like you and me they are elected to serve.
The escalation of deficit spending has Americans scared right now. Congress is broken and at the same time government is expanding and intruding into our everyday life. Yet, our elected representatives remain ineffective at forging bipartisan reforms to fix longstanding problems and take our country in the right direction.
The policy divide that has historically separated Republicans and Democrats has disintegrated, and both major parties have lost their way. Now is the time for a strong conservative to refocus our efforts on serving the people, as our Founding Fathers intended.
Our government has failed to move us toward energy independence, while at the same time it has passed a $787 billion taxpayer-funded bailout for corporations, a government takeover of the health care system, we have a $13 trillion national debt that is growing exponentially, we are ensnared in two wars from which we don’t know how to extract ourselves, we have almost 10% national unemployment and we are virtually owned by the Chinese and controlled by the Middle East.
Dave is running to create jobs and improve the economy, to slash the deficit and free Americans from the economic bondage we and our children have been placed in by the failed “leadership” in Washington. Dave is running to keep the global fight against terrorism off our soil, which is where it will surely be if America continues to embrace “soft power” and the desire to be loved abroad at the expense of securing its citizens. Thanks for bringing Dave to our attenion. There are a lot of good candidates out there who need our support. I hope those who know of other great candidates will also do a post about them.
When you asked for help “exposing” a rising star, my first thought was that he was somehow flawed…a charlatan. Then I read further and discovered you supported him. Maybe you should try a different word.

Sounds like a good man. He is in my prayers as men like him are often attacked for their beliefs.

I think of the word “exposing” would grab our attention more than another like maybe”supporting”that is appropriate;so he might have said the word intentionaly to grab attention,and it worked .bye y’all 🙄
