Another of Obama’s odd perspective of “truth” and “transparency” with the US electorate has been laid exposed in the latest update re’release of Bill Ayers’ 2001 book, “Fugitive Days,” .

He’ll [Ayers] appear Friday on “Good Morning America” to promote the re-issue of his book this week. The Tribune obtained a copy of the updated material.

In it, Ayers — who did not respond to requests for comment — summarized his relationship with Obama: “[W]e had served together on the board of a foundation, knew one another as neighbors and family friends, held an initial fund-raiser at my house, where I’d made a small donation to his earliest political campaign.”

On the campaign trail, Obama dismissed Ayers as “a guy who lives in my neighborhood” and “somebody who worked on education issues in Chicago that I know.” Among “family friends”, one would think being dismissed as so casual would cut one to the quick. But not Ayers, who “laments” his friendship with Obama being an issue.

“The more serious point is that Obama was asked once more to defend something that ought to be at the very heart of democracy: the importance of talking to many people in this complicated and wildly diverse society, of listening with the possibility of learning something new, of speaking with the possibility of persuading or influencing others. … In a robust and sophisticated democracy, political leaders, indeed, all of us, would seek out ways to talk with many people who hold dissenting, even radical ideas.”

Personally, I think “talking” with self admitted Marxist/Communists who hold with the Rosa Luxemburg views on education, and considering the same “family friends” is a huge gap… But what the heck do I and 47% of the US population who did not fall under the Obama spell know? We’re “distractors” when it comes to examining just who are Obama’s “family friends” and business associates.

Lest any of our friendly Obama’ites miscontrue the import of this, and cry *distraction* again, the Obama-Ayers relationship has nothing to do with his Weather Underground days, but everything to do with Obama’s agreement with Ayers on a “social and economic justice” educational agenda. And to promote that socialist agenda, there are all too many teachers willing to tell their students who is “on their side” instead of promoting independent thinking.

But thanks, Obama, for making your relationship clear. Whoops…. I mean, thank you William Ayers for outing Obama and the real “truth”.

Obviously, in the interests of political expediency and personal promotion, Obama is willing to even cast “family friends” aside as no more than a piece of lint to achieve his goal.

He’s just lucky that his socialist buds find it just dandy to be a piece of lint… because having a “family friend” in the Oval Office can come in quite handy for their own agendas.

UPDATE: I see Boston Herald’s Jules Crittenden has done a link here, giving me a “neo-con” pan review. Or was it? He has a dizzy’ing study of double negatives throughout his entire post that makes one want to scream… “just spit it out, fer heavens sakes!” LOL

Or how was it he put it? (in possibly that double-reverse Clintonism”?)

Still just not getting it, hopelessly slavish to the necon media machine:….

Well, if I am experiencing a vague and/or confusing compliment/insult, I find myself in the illustrious company of Michelle Malkin, HotAir, MacsMind, RedState, Protein Wisdom and Tim Blair. So my first reaction is, I sure pick better company than Obama…. whether complimented *or* insulted.
