FLASHBACK: Remember When Obama Campaign Was Fined $375,000 for Campaign Reporting Violations AND NO JAIL TIME?

On Tuesday, Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen surrendered himself to the FBI after it was reported he reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors.

Michael Cohen admitted he violated campaign finance laws in relation to the Stormy Daniels payment at direction of a ‘candidate.’ He paid off the porn star over $100,000 in a hush money agreement which she later violated.

Democrats and their liberal media cheered that this was the end of the Trump “regime.”

But it wasn’t that long ago that a presidential campaign was charged with much worse.

Yes The Obama campaign set a record no one went to jail no one screamed about impeachment.

No jail time or impeachment talk for Obama for his violations, scandals, and disregard for the Constitution. No jail time for Hillary even thought she broke the law with her server. No jail time for Comey, Brennan, Clapper, and other coupsters for perjury. No jail time for Holder for arming Mexican drug cartels. No jail time for anyone in the Obama Administration for arming ISIS and other terrorist groups. No jail time for Obama or his minions for weaponizing our government to spy on and rig an election and then to overthrow his successor when that failed. But jail time and impeachment talk for anything associated with Trump. It’s quite clear- if you are a member of the Swamp you can do whatever you want with impunity. If you’re not a member of the Swamp, they’re coming for you. Eventually the rest of us are going to get sick of their shit and when they cross the line, it won’t be pretty.

We have been programmed to never be shocked or surprised when the left violates laws. No one dreams of using those violations as a political weapon. Yet, they should be prosecuted as that is what serves as the deterrent. Having to pay $375,000 in someone else’s money is hardly punishment or a deterrent against repetition.

However, now we see that the left, having abandoned all hopes of winning elections based on better ideas and campaigning, will use these in lieu of winning elections, even if they have to concoct them.
