Now that Mitt Romney has sewn up the Republican nomination, the GOP can move beyond a tumultuous primary season. But for some of Romney’s fellow Mormons, there’s still some anxiety in the air.

Steven Spielberg, the man who had to redesign his stable because it was going to block his neighbors’ views of the ocean, is enough of an elitist to not let his neighbors ruin his grandiose plans; he just dozed the top of his little Sullivan Canyon hill top and built his stable where the top of the hill used to be. Elitists can work around the will of the people; it’s logical in their minds, they are the will of the people.
If you thought that in a second term Barack Obama would focus like a laser beam on jobs and the economy, think again:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of Republicans who criticize President Obama‘s support for the failed solar firm Solyndra: “[Republicans are] the ones who say they’re risk takers. Now, all of a sudden, they’re saying, `Don’t take risks.’ ”
Obama Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter defended President Obama‘s investment in green energy companies like Solyndra: “The president was making investments for the country, because he’s not going to cede an entire industry to China and India. And as a result the company – country is prospering.”
President Barack Obama: “The job of a president is to lay the foundation for strong and sustainable broad- based growth — not one where a small group of speculators are cashing in on short term gains.”
Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney: “There’s no question but that he’s attacking capitalism, in part, I think, because he doesn’t understand how the free economy works.”
Some of us are in awe of our troops and their devotion; yet, when we look at the people around us, we shake our heads and wonder where these young people come from, since there seems to be so few Americans with enough backbone to step forward and stand on the wall. Sadly they are but a small percentage of the 350 million people of this country, and yet, so much is owed by so many to such a small number of people.
