A Black Liberal cyber friend wrote in commentary, “the GOP will never nominate a Black”. This is a profound statement and I am sure he thinks it is the truth and it may well be, but I have heard many Conservatives on talk radio express the opposite opinion.
Let me start by saying Conservatives and Republicans may swim in the same pond, but since Reagan, there have been some major differences. A Republican will consider a Conservative part of the GOP, but many Conservatives are looking at the profligate and capitulating behavior of GOP members in Washington with indignation, while wondering if they may as well be whispering to a typhoon. Consequently, many Conservatives only consider ourselves Republicans by default; with resignation, many Conservatives feel the GOP is their only option.
Recordings released via CBS reporter Sharyl Atkisson offer many disturbing comments regarding the Gunwalker scandal. Weapons dealer Andre Howard is speaking with ATF agent Hope McAlister.
On one of the recordings it is suggested that putting a private investigator on Senator Chuck Grassley could help diminish Grassley’s enthusiasm for the Gunwalker investigation:

Colonel West is offering an alternative to the Social Welfare of Liberalism and Progressive Socialism; just as Harriet Tubman, an escaped slave who led countless slaves to freedom from the plantations by way of the underground railroad, Colonel West is offering to lead the modern day virtual slave of the Democrat Party to freedom and prosperity.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz is the gaffe-prone head of the Democrat National Committee, appointed by Barack Obama.
In the four weeks since she succeeded Tim Kaine, Wasserman Schultz has been called out by four nonpartisan fact-checkers for mischaracterizing the GOP’s Medicare plan.
Former Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs seemed to be playing tit for tat the other day.
But he still blamed Bush.
One of my first meetings with Iraqis in early 2003 was at a town hall meeting in Al Dujayl. I was a medical service corps officer. As such, I wear a caduceus on my collar. We are sometimes mistaken for doctors by non-military types.
My interpreter and I were making our way through a crowd of Iraqis outside of the meeting hall. One man was very persistent. He actually took hold of my wrist and thrust a handful of papers in my face. I didn’t want to be late for my first meeting. (At that time, I was on US time, not Iraqi time.) My interpreter carried on a fast paced conversation with the man. As he did, I looked at the papers. They were yellow legal sized with two columns of Arabic on both sides. There were 7 front and back pages.
What an embarrassment:
Obama, in his most candid moments, acknowledged that race was still a problem. In May 2010, he told guests at a private White House dinner that race was probably a key component in the rising opposition to his presidency from conservatives, especially right-wing activists in the anti-incumbent “Tea Party” movement that was then surging across the country.
