We know how politically biased you are. We know that you are a lifelong democrat. We know that you worked on Tom Harkin’s campaign in 1992. We know that you get all kinds of self-righteous at times. We know that you enjoy slamming Sean Hannity for non-disclosures while you do the same.
After Fox News host Sean Hannity was outed earlier this week as a client of President Donald Trump’s beleaguered attorney Michael Cohen, members of the liberal media expected the top-rated network to punish the host for not previously revealing this connection to his viewers.
“Going to find out what kind of org Fox is today. No serious news org would allow someone this conflicted to cover this story,” one liberal media figure, NBC host Chuck Todd, tweeted Tuesday morning.
When Fox instead issued a statement in defense of Hannity, Todd lashed out, saying on air, “I am stunned that Fox had no punitive response!”
“Not a ‘Sean Hannity must disclose every night,’ not a ‘He can’t cover this story,’ not a ‘He’s been suspended for the week.’ Nothing! Not a single thing!”
But you, Chuck? You need not disclose anything.
In 2016 the NBC host interviewed then-Democrat presidential nominee Sen. Tim Kaine three separate times without once informing his audience that his wife, Kristian Denny Todd, had donated to Kaine’s successful 2012 Senate campaign, as noted by NewsBusters.
Todd likewise said nothing during his interviews in 2016 with then-Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, despite his wife’s campaign advisory firm, Maverick Mail & Strategies, having performed work for the candidate earlier that year.
And your wife did some serious income collecting while working for Sanders:
NBC Meet the Press host Chuck Todd has a wife who’s active in Democratic Party strategic communications, and sometimes donates to Democrats. In 2012, Kristian Denny Todd contributed $2,500 to Sen. Tim Kaine. Todd never felt any need to disclose this during his three recent Kaine interviews on NBC (August 7, September 18, and October 23).
But Maverick Mail & Strategies, the firm Mrs. Todd founded in 2007 with fellow James Webb aides Steve Jarding and Jessica Vanden Berg, did heavy lifting for openly socialist Bernie Sanders for President this year. Open Secrets shows a bill for $1.992 million made in ten payments to Maverick from January to April. Todd has never disclosed this business relationship in 11 Sanders interviews this year. (If the work began in 2015 before the payments, Todd failed to disclose any tie in six Sanders interviews in the second half of 2015). We didn’t even count any Todd interviews with Sanders on MSNBC.
No one ever accuses you or your wife of working on behalf of any Republican. Your bias is palpable each every time you open your mouth.
But that’s not the only thing that makes you an a**hole. After two plus years of of pumping the collusion/conspiracy charge against Trump you assailed the Attorney General of the United States when he made an accurate assertion:
“The country’s chief law enforcement officer went in front of Congress today and gave credence to a factless conspiracy theory.
Every time they’ve brought up this allegation, there has been zero factual basis for it. Every effort to perpetrate the spying conspiracy theory has been debunked.
Using the word ‘spying’ plays into the President’s language and argument that the Russia investigation to him is just a witch hunt. It feels like that basically the Attorney General gaslit the country.”
There is no question that the obama administration spied on Trump and on false pretenses. But wait, there’s more. You really lost it when you all but begged democrats to impeach Trump:
“Look, they have a real dilemma on their hands. And I actually think there is no right answer,” he lamented to host Willie Geist. “[T]here is no right moral or ethical decision, which is there are unintended consequences if they choose to go down this road and there’s unintended consequences if they choose not to do this. Right?”
According to Todd, the Democrats risked normalizing foreign meddling in our elections if they didn’t run down Trump:
Are you, sort of, okaying the idea of foreign adversaries, helping out political campaigns if there isn’t an attempt to put this behavior on the docket of Congress. At the same time, you may politically be handing the President a cudgel with which he could get re-elected and maybe that’s outside the goals of the Democrats here.
What makes you a real a**hole is ignoring the fact that the Russian interference came about on Barack Obama’s watch. You ignore that Obama knew about Russia’s intent to meddle in US elections since 2014- long before Trump was the nominee- and did NOTHING about it. Obama was the President, Chuck, not Trump. It was his bloody job to protect America and its elections. NOT ONCE have you addressed that.
Why is that you mind only when someone meddles in our elections but you give Obama a pass on all the times he screwed with foreign elections?
You blow that off totally. Now you want democrats to punish Trump for the failures of your hero Obama. You’re a lousy journalist.

Its no secret that Hannity deals in real estate. Not everyone can have a “charity” to pay all their first class expenses.
I dont personally like Hannitys style of opinion show, he cant keep his own mouth shut long enough for his guests to answer questions. I guess he has a pretty highly viewed show.

I am wondering who bribed the FBI agents, who wined and dined them for the “bombshells,” Which affiliates bought them tickets for sporting events, invited them to parties in exchange for leaks of classified information ie breaking news.

I was in a place where I had the unfortunate “privilege” of watching the very last part of Todd’s interview with Gulliani yesterday. He smiled and claimed there is no evidence of Obama knowing about the spying on Trump. Rudy brought up the texts messages between the two lovebirds that referenced WH involvement and Todd just kept smiling and shaking his head no. In other words, he blatantly lied. He exemplified why the MSM and dems are lying. First is self preservation. They got caught red handed lying for two years about how Trump is an agent of Russia and now they need to keep the lie going in order to salvage their unsalvageable reputations. Secondly, they know Obama is complicit in all of this and they are circling the wagons around him. They were his mouthpiece for eight years ignoring all the scandals and providing him a venue to get his talking points out. Remember the staged press conferences? They are a bad joke, not journalists. If it’s bad for Obama, it’s bad for them. It’ll be interesting once this really gets going to see if they throw Hillary under the bus to protect Obama.
Just about every member of Trump’s cabinet member had a relative on one of the liberal propaganda outlets. I can’t remember them making that disclosure with every story. Of course, with useful idiots like Todd, we don’t have to be told of his bias and conflicts; it simply goes without saying. NO ONE within the liberal media is capable of being without bias or prejudice.
@another vet: It is IMPOSSIBLE to believe that these agencies did not get the highest approval to spy on an opposition party campaign and candidate. Can you imagine the repercussions for doing so without approval?
Unless, of course, they KNEW Obama would be OK with it… which is probably worse.

Methinks someone has read what Montgomery took from the NSA. He stated Obama had Trump spied on while he was a private citizen. Notice how the timeline of when all this got started keeps shifting left kind of corroborating his claim? That kind of starts to lend credibility to his other claims meaning Trump wasn’t the only who was being spied on for political reasons.

@retire05: Interesting angle. There’s no doubt they wanted to take down Flynn because he didn’t tow Obama’s propaganda about terrorism. Obama had an enemies list and Flynn was no doubt on it as was Trump because of the BC issue.
A person I do business with worked for Obama when he was a community organizer. He was in the medical field and he set up clinics for him. He described Obama: as smart; charismatic; totally gay who wanted nothing to do with women and had three boyfriends whom he hung around with all of whom stopped coming around when he got into politics, and a shyster who would take the toilets out buildings he would renovate in order to make them uninhabitable so he could get the taxes reduced. He also liked to hang around with the pushers on the street corners probably to make himself look bad. None of his assertions surprises me in the least.
