Somebody’s lying. It’s either Michael Cohen or Michael Cohen

It’s a Tale of Two Cohens. Cohen vs. Cohen. On one side we have Michel Cohen. On the other side we have Michael Cohen.

They are in conflict with each other. Bigly.

Michael Cohen V.2018 claims that Donald Trump knew about the June 2016 meeting that Trump Jr. would attend.

Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney, claims that then-candidate Trump knew in advance about the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower in which Russians were expected to offer his campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton, sources with knowledge tell CNN. Cohen is willing to make that assertion to special counsel Robert Mueller, the sources said.

Cohen’s claim would contradict repeated denials by Trump, Donald Trump Jr., their lawyers and other administration officials who have said that the President knew nothing about the Trump Tower meeting until he was approached about it by The New York Times in July 2017.
Cohen alleges that he was present, along with several others, when Trump was informed of the Russians’ offer by Trump Jr. By Cohen’s account, Trump approved going ahead with the meeting with the Russians, according to sources.

This is what he brings to the table.

To be clear, these sources said Cohen does not have evidence, such as audio recordings, to corroborate his claim, but he is willing to attest to his account.

Michael Cohen V.2018 has a problem. Michael Cohen V.2017.

Michael Cohen V.2017 previously testified to the contrary. In his own words:

First, I want to comment briefly but clearly on the presumed subject of this morning’s interview. Second, I want to address what I believe are the implications of it.

Let me be totally clear that I am innocent of the allegations raised against me in the public square, which are based upon misinformation and unnamed or unverifiable sources.

I have never engaged with, been paid by, paid for, or conversed with any member of the Russian Federation or anyone else to hack anyone or any organization.

I have never engaged with, been paid by, paid for, or conversed with any member of the Russian Federation or anyone else to hack or interfere with the election.

I have never engaged with, been paid by, paid for, or conversed with any member of the Russian Federation or anyone else to hack Democratic Party computers; and I have never engaged with, been paid by, paid for, or conversed with any member of the Russian Federation or anyone else to create fake news stories to assist the Trump campaign or to damage the Clinton campaign.

Given my own proximity to the President of the United States as a candidate, let me also say that I never saw anything – not a hint of anything – that demonstrated his involvement in Russian interference in our election or any form of Russian collusion.

I emphatically state that I had nothing to do with any Russian involvement in our electoral process.

That seems pretty clear. Then he added

As an attorney, I believe justice ought not to be politicized in the United States of America – neither in this Senate office nor in the courts. I’m certain that the evidence at the conclusion of this investigation will reinforce the fact that there was no collusion between Russia, President Trump or me.

I’m also certain that there are some in this country who do not care about the facts, but simply want to politicize this issue, choosing to presume guilt – rather than presuming innocence – so as to discredit our lawfully elected President in the public eye and shame his supporters in the public square … this is un-American.

Indeed. After Trump Jr. denied it and testified to that, Michael Cohen V.2017 praised Junior.

President Donald Trump called attention Sunday to an old tweet from Michael Cohen to cast doubt on his former attorney’s allegations about the now-infamous June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between Donald Trump Jr. and a group of Russians who promised dirt on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

“Do you think the Fake News Media will ever report on this tweet from Michael?” Trump tweeted, linking to a July 11, 2017 tweet from Cohen.

In the tweet, Cohen praised Trump Jr. “for being open, honest and transparent to the American people” about the Trump Tower meeting.

Michael Cohen V.2107 was not under duress when his testimony was given in September 2017. It was only after Robert Mueller exercised his dark form of Chiropractic on Cohen V.2017 that Cohen V.2017 evolved into Cohen V.2018.

There seems little doubt that, as he did with Michael Flynn, Mueller threatened to ruin Cohen V.2017 and his family if he did not agree to “remember” something that could be used as a weapon against Trump.

You might remember that Cohen V.2017 also claimed that he alone decided to pay Stormy Daniels.

Michael Cohen V.2018 is looking at a formidable opponent who can impeach him as a witness for Mueller.

And that, of course, is Michael Cohen V.2017

Mueller knows this is a nuthing burger he handed it off, to chase Tweets.
Cohen graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, now affiliated with Western Michigan University and recently ranked the worst law school in the country by the National Advisory Council for Law School Transparency.

When did Bush change parties?

There seems little doubt that, as he did with Michael Flynn, Mueller threatened to ruin Cohen V.2017 and his family if he did not agree to “remember” something that could be used as a weapon against Trump.

Indeed, those who interviewed General Flynn say he never lied, yet Mueller, needing scalps and headlines, proceeded to ruin him and threaten his family unless he confessed to lying.

No doubt the same tactic is used on Cohen. “Sign this confession and testify to what we want you to say or we will take everything you have, ruin you and your family and utterly destroy you. We have to power to conduct surveillance on you whenever we want, to make whatever you do look like we want it to look and we can KILL you or any of your family members whenever we choose. Cooperate and lie, or ELSE.”

If there actually was a case, it would be made without the GESTAPO-style tactics.

I heard one of the idiots CNN hired to say words propose that this information could be used to threaten Trump that unless he resigned, Trump, Jr. would be prosecuted for perjury. Yes, that’s how the left’s mind works; “justice” through threats and intimidation.

First, idiot, Trump can PARDON his son whenever he likes. Second, Trump should then ORDER that his son would not be put on trial until Hillary, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Holder, Lynch, Strzok, Abedine, McCabe, Yates, Rice and Powers are all tried and convicted. THEN they can go after Jr. to see if he lied or not. Unless that is done, there is no system of justice in the US but only a system of political assassination.
