Leaky Dick Durbin works full time for illegal aliens and enemies of the US

Donald Trump called Dick Durbin (D-IL) “Dicky Durbin.”  That’s fine, but in the light of Durbin leaking the details of a supposedly private meeting I think the name “Leaky Dick” fits him much better. Durbin has just asserted that he is now working 100% for illegal aliens:

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) says his sole focus in Congress is making sure illegal aliens are given amnesty to remain permanently in the United States.
In comments on Monday, Durbin said it is illegal aliens, not his Illinois constituents, who he is working “full time” and around the clock for.

Durbin said:

Listen, politics ain’t beanbag. When you get into tough, complicated, contentious issues, sometimes rhetoric gets very fiery. If you don’t have a tough skin, this is not a good business to get into. I know what happened. I stand behind every word that I said in terms of that meeting. I’m focused on one thing — not that meeting — but on making sure that those who are being protected by DACA and eligible for the DREAM Act have a future in America. I am focused on that full time.

Never mind that Dreamers add a financial burden to the country:

Under Durbin’s DREAM Act, working and middle-class Americans would be put in further competition for U.S. jobs against up to 3.5 million newly legalized foreign nationals. A recent report found that 1 in 5 illegal aliens given amnesty under the DREAM Act would end up on food stamps and nearly 1 in 7 would end up on Medicaid, further straining the social safety net for America’s poor.

Durbin works full time for illegals while black unemployment in Illinois is 10%.

Leaky Dick continues to stand by his assertion about what Trump was alleged to have said:

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said Tuesday he stood by “every word” of his statement that President Donald Trump referred to foreign countries as “shithole countries” during a bipartisan meeting on immigration last week.

“I stand by every word I said about what was said and what happened at that meeting,” Durbin told reporters on Capitol Hill.

But then he hedged:

“This is the defense? The defense that instead of ‘s-hole’ it was ‘s-house’? That’s the best they can come up with? I mean it really tells a story,” Durbin said.

Durbin lying would surprise no one given his historical propensity to prevaricate:

In 2013, Politico reported:

“In a ‘negotiation’ meeting with the president, one GOP House Leader told [President Barack Obama]: ‘I cannot even stand to look at you,’” Durbin wrote in a post on his Facebook page over the weekend.

However, both the White House and the House speaker’s office denied Durbin’s account of events.

Asked about the post in the White House daily briefing, press secretary Jay Carney said he checked with a participant of the meeting in question.

“I looked into this and spoke with somebody who was in that meeting and it did not happen,” Carney said.

And let us not forget that Leaky Dick once likened the US Marines to Nazis:

Durbin had prefaced his remarks, delivered June 14 on the Senate floor, by noting that for two years he had sought congressional hearings on the treatment of detainees. Then he cited an FBI account of how Guantanamo prisoners had been chained to their cells in extreme temperatures and deprived of food and water.

“If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime — Pol Pot or others — that had no concern for human beings,” Durbin said. “Sadly, that is not the case. This was the action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners.”

He once suggested that an illegal alien could become President of the United States, which puts his intelligence, if not his knowledge of civics, into doubt.

Leaky Dick has a career propensity of caring more for illegals than US citizens and enemy combatants more than the military. He is a disgrace.
