The sexual harassment tsunami continues to drown democrats

democrats asked for this and they are getting it. Bigly. They blasted Trump for things he said to Billy Bush which were supposed to be private. They thought they had him. They made a yuge issue of it. A referendum was held and the voters spoke. Trump prevailed.

Then came Harvey Weinstein.

And the oceans loomed. The accusations trickled out at first and have only grown in volume. They have reached tsunami level and have swamped primarily the protected gated enclave of DNCville.

And it is nothing less than a pleasure to watch this spectacle.

That sanctimonious dirtbag Al Franken says he won’t resign despite saying Anthony Weiner’s resignation was “the right thing to do.”

He (Vitter) was reelected by the people of Louisiana so I think he should still be in the Senate. I do think there was a bit of sort of weird hypocrisy with such loud calling for Weiner’s resignation in light of the circumstances which there was all this visual evidence which was unpleasant to see… and obviously what he did I thought was.. um.. you know…. I think that his resig.., I think resigning was probably the right thing to do. But, there’s a lot of, guess what, hypocrisy there.

At Mediaite there was some whining about Franken not really committing “grope-grope” as the imbecilic Whoopi Goldberg might say, but the media fails to recall that Franken shoved his tongue down Leann Tweeden’s throat, which is sexual assault, i.e. penetration.

Then there’s John Conyers, the “icon”, who apparently has a history of taking advantage of women:

Deanna Maher says that while she was chief of staff for Conyers from 1997 to 2005, the congressman propositioned her three times, which included unwanted touching and inappropriate advances in a speeding car.

The first incident occurred in 1997, shortly after she had been hired, during a Congressional Black Caucus event. “I didn’t have a room, and he had me put in his hotel suite,” Maher said. She rejected his offer to share his Washington, D.C. Grand Hyatt hotel suite and have sex.

Conyers, who is now 88, then touched her without her consent in a car in 1998 while driving to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

“He was trying to feel me up with his right hand,” Maher said. “I kept pushing his hand away. Then he put his hand on my neck and started trying to tickle me. We were on I-75, and he was driving erratically. I was saved by the bell because we got pulled over by the police for the way he was driving.”

Conyers touched her legs under her dress in 1999 at a meeting with pastors in Highland Park. Conyers “put his hand up my dress and whispered in my ear, ‘I didn’t know you had such great legs.’” Maher said.

Nancy Pelosi has quick to rush to Conyers’ defense but apparently got cold feet as more accusers surfaced. She was at first willing to give Conyers a pass on his abuse of women because of his “iconic” status. Now she’s not so sure icons are worth throwing yourself on the fire and we’re back to the “believing women” thing:

“This afternoon, I spoke with Melanie Sloan who worked for Congressman Conyers on the Judiciary Committee in the mid-1990s,” Pelosi said in the statement. “Ms. Sloan told me that she had publicly discussed distressing experiences while on his staff. I find the behavior Ms. Sloan described unacceptable and disappointing. I believe what Ms. Sloan has told me.”

We’re now at the number five vis-a-vis Conyers accusers and we’re nowhere near done.

Another loud mouth Trump critic, Rep. Al Green slept with a allegedly drug addicted staffer, perhaps because she was compromised:

Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green had sex with a staffer who he said was a drug addict and then sued her when she threatened to go public with claims she suffered a hostile work environment, saying he “will not be extorted or blackmailed.”

Lucinda Daniels, his onetime district director, claimed she suffered a hostile work environment, claimed sexual harassment and demanded $1.8 million. Green sued her, saying she was using their sexual relationship to shake him down at the behest of other unnamed conspirators.

Then he sued her.

Then there’s another big mouth from the South, Arizona Rep. Raul Grijalva. He used $50,000 of taxpayer money to shut up a victim of the hostile environment allegedly Grijalva created:

Arizona Rep. Raul Grijalva’s secret deal with a former female staffer was revealed by The Washington Times on Monday. The payout was negotiated by the House Employment Counsel, the body’s attorney, and cost taxpayers $48,395.

The settlement, however, may have violated House rules, The Times reported. It’s against House rules for a lawmaker to retain “an employee who does not perform duties for the offices of the employing authority commensurate with the compensation such employee receives.”

Grijalva’s payout also should have been handed over in a lump sum, not paid out in monthly installments, The Times reported. Taxpayers paid Grijalva’s disgruntled staffer five month’s severance. The female staffer left her job after just three months, and didn’t pursue the matter after leaving Grijalva’s employment.

Then out of nowhere, the little cucaracha from Chicago announced that he is not running for re-election.

Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez of Illinois, a leading progressive voice on immigration, is expected to announce his retirement Tuesday.

Gutierrez, one of President Donald Trump’s most ardent critics and a member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, is expected to withdraw his nominating petitions Tuesday just one day after initially filing them, Politico reports.

The decision seems to have been made recently as Gutierrez’s spokesman, Douglas Rivlin told Politico he had not been informed of the news.

Odd. Coincidence? One has to wonder. There was hardly a safer if not more gerrymandered seat anywhere.

It is complete crap that Congress gets to use taxpayer dollars to hide and suppress their indiscretions. It has to stop.

This is not the beginning of the end. It’s only the end of the beginning.

Just another straw for an already loaded camel. https://thepoliticalinsider.com/democrat-shirt-fading/

Et tu, Matt? Matt Lauer fired from NBC for “inappropriate sexual behavior”. I wonder if he will allow Bill O’Reilly to interview him and grill him about his firing, as Matt did O’Reilly?

First the Russian trail leads right back to the Democrats and now this. Maybe they should try to offer solutions to problems instead of trying to scam the American people for votes.

CA Dem Assemblyman also quit suddenly the other day.
Rep. Luis Gutierrez of Illinois suddenly has discovered his Puerto Rican roots.
He is supposedly moving there to work on his parent’s home’s repairs.
Obama putting up little curtains in a Habitat for Humanity home comes to mind.
Does Luis even know how to rebuild a house?

The Demac-RATS have stirred up a hornets hive and their all going to get stung by it all and lets see them feeling the pain of their own acts of stupidity

They blasted Trump for things he said to Billy Bush which were supposed to be private.

In your usual dishonest partisan allegiance fashion, you not only try to sell a ridiculous concept that sexual assault is a partisan problem (that it’s a Dem thing), but Republican predators and molesters are innocent because somehow or another their privacy was violated, that we shouldn’t look or hear when an R does it.

Disregarding your vindication, unawareness, or disregard of allegations of Trump, Moore, O’Reilly, G.W.H. Bush, Ailes, Hastert, Vitter, Foley, very recent Republican state Reps Souders (IN), Lee (NY), Barton (TX), Murphy (PA), McAllister (LA), the R KY Congress shakeup, et al, why were they supposed to be private for Trump or perhaps, why is it, as you insinuate, inappropriate that he was exposed? And why are Republican allegations supposed to be private while exposing Democrats is fair game?

How you have to layer your dishonesty and hypocrisy in order to defend your vagina groper in chief seems to becoming more desperate.

Not at all. However, the left only feels it is egregious when a Republican does it. In the Trump case, he never DID anything, only said powerful men COULD. Then your prominent liberals rush right out and prove his point.

Moore, like Trump, has merely been accused by partisan enemies that will stoop as low as they have to in order to compensate for the failure of liberalism.

How you have to layer your dishonesty and hypocrisy in order to defend your vagina groper in chief seems to becoming more desperate.

When will you stop defending your vagina and answer these long-standing questions?

What is your substantiation for calling Trump a racist?

Does Hillary dropping N-bombs make her a racist (and, by extension, all of her supporters)?

Is ANTIFA committing violence?

Shouldn’t the left be demanding Yale University change its name because Elihu Yale was a slave trader and the school was built with support from slave traders?

Tell us of how Trump “breached the Constitution”.

Why do liberals get to make vile, unsubstantiated accusations in media but conservatives get fired if they voice a non-liberal opinion?

How is questioning Obama’s demonstrably dubious birth records racist?

Are immigration laws expected to be enforced?

Who is justifying “mass murdering people not of their heritage”?

Who has ever asserted that “all Hispanic and Latinos are murders, rapist, and drug dealers”?

When did Trump ever grab anyone’s vagina and who was it?

What did Trump lie about?

Whose wages did Trump steal?

What is the nature of Trump’s “con”?

How did I indicate your answers would be meaningless?

What answer have you provided that has been ignored?

Can you show us an incident when conservatives overreacted to a tragedy and accused the wrong responsible party?

Do you denounce those who are rejoicing in the slaughter in Las Vegas and using it for obscene political gain?

Trump said a word. Weinstein groped, fondled and… whatever else that shall be revealed. Are you intellectually incapable of understanding the difference?

What is Trump doing that is “energizing the KKK and Neo-Nazis”?

Provide examples of anyone that “harrass and falsely imprison and then beat and attributed death to people of color (even openly declaring his prison as his “own personal concentration camp)”.

How is calling Warren, who lied about being Native American, Pocahontas a slur?

I’ll bet your vagina is more manly than the rest of you.

Alleged child molester Roy Moore regains lead in Alabama senate poll

He’s now 5 points ahead of Doug Jones, apparently thanks to the support of Donald Trump.

Moore refused debate because of Dem rival’s stance on ‘transgenderism’

Or maybe on evolution. Or child molesting? Who knows? In any case, Moore looks like he’s headed for the U.S. Senate—where he will immediately become a millstone around the necks of republicans, who have been openly speculating about how they might bar his entry and replace him. He’ll be one more resentful thing they’ll be weighing in the balance against Donald Trump.

@Greg: I once saw someone on these pages write “innocent until proven guilty”. Do you recall who that was, Greg?

Moore has accusations, something pretty cheep when opposing Democrats. Most of the accusations have either fallen apart or been torn apart. We don’t know if Moore is innocent, but based on the caliber of the accusations against him, he certainly LOOKS innocent.

He’s now 5 points ahead of Doug Jones, apparently thanks to the support of Donald Trump.

Trump hasn’t supported Moore; he has opposed Jones.

Jones, running in Alabama, supports abortion right up to the moment the baby takes its first breath. Again, if only you liberals could field a viable candidate, you might have a chance at cashing in on your schemes. But, if you had good candidates, you wouldn’t NEED the schemes, would you?

Using accusations of sexual harassment or assault as a political tool is a despicable tactic, made more despicable when it comes from the ideology that is totally infested with sexual predators.

Maybe you’d better tell that to the Republican members of the Senate. They seem to have a big problem with this guy. They know he’s toxic. All Trump wants is the Senate seat. He doesn’t care who sits in it, as long as its occupant is beholden to Trump.

How Senate Republicans Have Reacted to the Roy Moore Allegations

@Greg: Well, the Republicans aren’t making the accusations… LIBERALS are. Republicans ALWAYS run from these accusation (while liberals circle the wagons, make excuses, equivocate and make counter-accusations). Plus, a few, like their Democrat counterparts, want Trump to fail and oppose anything he is associated with. I would agree with them if there was any indication that Moore was actually guilty.

He doesn’t care who sits in it, as long as its occupant is beholden to Trump.

As opposed to why the Democrats want an abortion-loving, Klansman supporting Democrat in the seat?

Well, the Republicans aren’t making the accusations… LIBERALS are.

Actually, six individual women have made the accusations, and there’s no indication that their liberal or conservative political views have much of anything to do with it. They seem to have personal reasons for being deeply offended and outraged that this man could become one of their Senators. I say that because coming forward with their stories can’t be at all easy for them. It would have been far easier, and perhaps safer, to remain silent. The time frames are such that there’s surely no potential monetary settlements they could hope for.

There does appear to be a tidal wave involved. The underlying message seems to be that women aren’t going to put up with this sort of bullshit anymore. Good for them.

Are you folks saying ALL the women who’ve accused O’Reilly, Ailes, Trump and Moore are lying and those who’ve accused Franken, Conyers , and various Hollywood types are telling the truth?

Suspension of disbelief ??

Bill Trump not supporting Moore you say lol Got a retired Marine Col. joined the race–hope he wins.

@rich wheeler: There are those that are denying it and those that have made payoffs (O Riley and Conyers) and those that suck in their lips and make I’m so sorry statements. You can sort them out.
There are certainly perps of every sort, Greg is a little optimistic with women wont put up with it any more. Some looking for a way up the ladder, some looking for a quick payday, some just want to tear all men down the way they do other women, and those that have been wronged.
4 possibilities but every man should have the right to due process, not to be found guilty on word alone.
What do you do with a liar? If it can be proven?
The General may have jumped in too late, may not be able to drain off enough Moore votes some polls have Moore 30 points ahead they are no way near accurate as others have him trailing, head to head and 5 points behind.
That situation is only in the hands of the Alabama voters no matter our opinion.
Sex sells this isnt the end of the media chasing tail.

@kitt: RCP has Moore +2.5 with Bannon on ground next week.
Be interesting to see what Senate will do if he wins Nine women have accused him of inappropriate sexual conduct—Mc Connell, Ryan and Ala. Repub Party among those who believe them.

@rich wheeler: They will seat him he will not get any committe positions.
I see much bi-partisanship on not releasing the list that had tax payers pay for harassment settlements in congress.
Does flirting with a person rise to the level of inappropriate sexual conduct? How about a date that has a kiss involved is that inappropriate sexual conduct? Seems those willing to give a prepubescent child choice on what gender they are and start sex ed in kindergarten have suddenly gone all Victorian, what is your opinion on Teen Vogue giving advice on anal sex? Am I suppose to allow them to define inappropriate?

@Greg:

Actually, six individual women have made the accusations, and there’s no indication that their liberal or conservative political views have much of anything to do with it.

Well, in truth, some are working for Democrats, some have posted virulent anti-Trump propaganda on their Facebook (quickly taken down when it was discovered), one was foisted upon us by Gloria Allred (a sure sign of a liberal dupe) and all their stories have crumbled away.

Moore has been a public figure for 40 years and none of these accusations have come forth until three weeks before THIS election. The burden of proof is sorely lacking yet the signs that this is nothing but a partisan attack are strong.

@rich wheeler:

Got a retired Marine Col. joined the race–hope he wins.

As long as Moore appears to be innocent, I hope HE wins, and for one important reason: I do not want the left wing tactic of using false accusations to replace the people’s choices. Liberals are bankrupt of acceptable candidates so they use lies to try and reduce the opposition to a more manageable level. When such third world, totalitarian tactics are effective, our Constitutional government is over and done.

To date, the accusers of Trump and Moore have not proven to be valid. It has been shown that, coincidentally, the accuser of O’Reilly is the same that has accused a few others; but, nothing definitive has been proven one way or another. It appears the accusations against Ailes still stand. There is, though, a notable difference between the accusations against Republicans and those against Democrats. The accusers of Democrats come forth on their own while those against these Republicans are always organized campaigns to bring down a specific personality.

@kitt: Teen Voque article–inappropriate.
Men must understand–no means no–period.
Harrassment is in the eyes of the harassed. Pendulum has swung a bit too far.
Bosses should never date their employees.
Guys like Moore shouldn’t be hanging with under 16 year old teenage girls–ever.

If Moore wins and ANY allegations prove true he will be removed.from Senate. Franken may suffer same Fate—-
This ain’t over.

@rich wheeler: The accusations against Moore were from alleged events from about 40 years ago. About the same time Ted Kennedy was drowning a young lady in a car.
Kennedy had a long career in politics and is highly regarded by Democrats.
Mary Jo didn’t live to lodge a complaint.

@rich wheeler: Men understand it. Some simply don’t accept it.

@Mully: Currently, there are RECORDS of Bill Clinton, if not actually engaging in sex with underage girls, getting mighty close to it. Yet, not a peep… not a single peep… out of the media about it. Oh, OK… Clinton isn’t running for office… but he is a liberal god, second only to Obama. Until the LEFT (where the vast majority of this garbage takes place) takes this problem seriously, it will continue and get much worse.

Unless, of course, it is merely a political weapon.

@rich wheeler: Only 1 says she was under 16, the Yearbook girl said she was 15 but the place she was working at didnt hire til 16, she also spelled it incorrectly in her forgery, it was never Spelled OLDE just OLD. But this stuff is for lawyers at a defamation case. I was always told you never get your meat were you get your bread.
I am sure all the accusers will vanish after the election, win or lose.

@kitt:

@rich wheeler: Only 1 says she was under 16, the Yearbook girl said she was 15 but the place she was working at didnt hire til 16, she also spelled it incorrectly in her forgery, it was never Spelled OLDE just OLD.

Which are all the things you do when you are making honest accusations, right? Like Dan Rather fabricating his evidence that Bush shirked military duty because he KNEW it was true.

Liberals believe only what they want to believe… what reinforces their failing ideology.

@Bill… Deplorable Me: So many things being ignored while these sex scandals get air time, its all about diversion and ratings.

@Greg: Greggie Greggie Greggie, to date there is NO credible evidence of any transgression committed by soon to be Senator Moore. It’s amazing that these accusation appear now after being accused for an alleged incident in the late 70’s!! Do you have any proof of the accusations being made??

@Greg: And about a dozen Democrats. I say reveal all the names that used the funds (not just the Republicans, Greg) and eliminate the fund. Those people have enough money to pay their own expenses.
