illegals

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, last Friday (January 24, 2014) said that the approximately eleven and one half million illegal immigrants in the US have "earned the right to be citizens." He actually said that!

Johnson also said:

It is also, frankly, in my judgment, a matter of who we are as Americans, to offer the opportunity to those who want to be citizens, who’ve earned the right to be citizens, who are present in this country – many of whom came here as children – to have the opportunity that we all have to try to become American citizens.

Johnson, in an effort to relate his remarks toimmigration reform and homeland security, continued:

Comprehensive immigration reform would also promote a more effective and efficient system for enforcing our immigration laws, and should include an earned path to citizenship for the approximately 11-and-a-half-million undocumented immigrants present in this country, something like 86% of whom have been here almost 10 years.

An earned path to citizenship for those currently present in this country is a matter of, in my view, homeland security to encourage people to come out from the shadows, to be accountable, to participate in the American experience, the American society.

What is truly amazing is that RINOs, like Senator John McCain (R-AZ), think, despite historical evidence, that if they support comprehensive immigration reform that Hispanics, mostly Mexicans, will support them. But history indicates otherwise:

Ronald Reagan, in 1986, supported amnesty for illegal aliens, yet the vote differential grew when George H.W. Bush ran for president!

So, with the above fact and the two most recent vote differentials in mind, guess who will get credit with immigration reform. That’s right, Democrats! The MSM will see to it. As John Hawkins writes

Barack Obama wanted to give "undocumented Americans" citizenship right away, but Republicans HATED HISPANICS SO MUCH that they insisted on Jim Crow laws that denied those poor, innocent Americans-in-waiting their civil rights by refusing to immediately let them become Americans.

There are even some RINOs who (foolishly) believe that citizenship for illegal aliens will somehow repair the Republican Party’s problem with Hispanics, who are already predisposed to vote for the Democrats. Republicans don’t have any realistic Hispanic outreach now, so why do they think the situation will change in the future?

Further, Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama is giving out work permits to illegal aliens, refusing to deport most captured illegal aliens, and created the equivalent of a DREAM ACT by executive order. He has demonstrated that he has absolutely no intention of enforcing existing immigration law, so why propose new ones? Democrat policy on illegal aliens is driven by one factor – they want as many illegal aliens as possible so they can be transformed into Democrat voting citizens.

And, John Boehner (R-OH), who recently hired advisor Rebecca Tallent, a longtime immigration adviser to "Gang of Eight" member Senator John McCain, has, despite conservative opposition, "committed" to pushing through immigration reform in 2014.

This while the labor force non-participation rate is 62.8 percent, the lowest since 1978. As Diana Furchtgott-Roth said, "… since 2000 the labor force participation rates of workers 55 and over have been rising steadily, and the labor force participation rates of workers between 16 and 54 have been declining." "… for the 25 to 54 age group, the core group of workers in the labor force, participation rate has declined
by 2 percentage points over the same time period, from 83 percent to 81 percent."

In his State of the Union speech, Obama said, "… more than 8 million new jobs our businesses have created over the past four years." But he neglected (on purpose?) to mention that job production since 2009 has, at best, been flat,
with December 2013 non-farm employment increasing by 84,000 jobs.

"… nearly 8.2 million private sector jobs have been added since February 2010. Overall, the net job gain since he took office stood at just over 3.2 million." That is a "few" less than 11.5 million.

So, Mr. Johnson, if 11.5 million illegal aliens “participate in the American experience, the American society,” become citizens, where will they go to find jobs? Or are we
taxpayers just supposed to absorb them, to pay welfare, to pay for them to do nothing but vote Democrat?

But that’s just my opinion.

Let me see if I understand Johnson, Holder and Obama. “You have to break the law in order to enjoy our law”.

Yep, I understand. It’s the Nancy Pelosi Perverted Law School teachings.

    Nevermind!

I note how ofter Obama and his, like Johnson, conflate two sets of immigrants; illegals – who include gangsters, drug dealers, prostitutes, drunk drivers, cop killers and worse – with that special set of foreign-born experts who need a special form of visa to be here.
If you listen to Obama, et al, you wouldn’t be able to differentiate the registered nurses from Philippines from the drug mules at the border.
Having lived in gang-central I know they wouldn’t really like being anywhere near real illegals.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson – is an irresponsible idiot….who contributes to the Lawlessness of the United States Of America…

He, and all his cronies in this US Government need to be the ones who PAY HIGHER TAXES in order to shelter, feed and clothe the mistakes they have/will make….Sorry, but, I want to keep the money I earn. I am seriously tired of funding people who have no business being funded by me (or any other working citizen) just by virtue of ‘being here’.
And the US Government has no business taking my hard earned dollars when they fail to enforce Federal Laws that are already on the books and ‘in play’ …

And screw the lefty idiots….who don’t approve of my approach…because the lefty idiots are in the problem mix.

Stipulation of becoming an instant citizen? No Government $$…Period.

Are there any other countries in the world that let people become citizens by just walking into their country? Known terrorists have been caught trying to enter the USA this way. How many haven’t been caught?

Citizenship certainly has been cheapened, hasn’t it?
When my in-laws legally emigrated to the USA from Mexico, it cost them thousands of dollars and hours of study to become citizens.
They had two citizen sponsors who helped them with loans, which my father-in-law paid back from the salary of a Sheriff’s Deputy.
So it wasn’t about money… They willingly made the sacrifices, and endured the hardships of becoming citizens, because citizenship meant something world-shaking back then, to themselves and their future children.
Citizenship in the USA was worth more than life itself.
Citizenship in the USSA* is a Crackerjack prize.

    * United Secure States of America
    United Socialist States of America
    Take your pick.
I prefer the first one, since with the advent of Socialism, we certainly aren’t united any more.

congress has a big “Votes For Sale” sign in the lawn. Some of the ones who are buying the votes are:

    (1) Businesses: They want the cheap labor.
    (2) Wealthy liberals: They want the illegals to become democrats and vote democratic.
(3)Unions: They want the illegals to become union members, since the unions are loosing members.
    (4) Terrorists: They want their people to be able to just walk across the border, like many have already.

Any member of congress who doesn’t say ALL of the illegals should leave IMMEDIATELY, should be voted out of congress. American citizens are loosing their jobs, or having to take lower wages to keep it, loosing their health insurance, or having to pay a lot more for it, and having a HUGE deductible added on to it, but YOUR politicians want the illegals to get:

    (1) Social Security.
    (2) Free schooling.
    (3) In-state tuition prices for college.
    (4) Translators for schooling, so they won’t have to learn English.
    (5) Free obamacare.

As I have mentioned before, those who are in financial trouble in the USA should move to Mexico, become Mexican citizens, and sneak into the USA. They then qualify for ALL OF THE ABOVE, and a lot more.

Anyone who votes for a politician that wants illegals is voting AGAINST the USA, and our way of life.

that”s well said, right on the nail,

A PATTERN CONTINUE SAME AS HIS BEGINING,
I remember in 2009, when I MOVED IN, I had less than perfect ENGLISH, I READ HE WAS GIVING OPEN DOOR TO QUITE A FEW HUNDREDS FAMILY FROM THE PALESTINE REBEL PARTY,
HE PROVIDED HOUSING AND MONEY FOR THEM ALL, AND THAT WAS UNDER COVER, NOT REPORTED
    ON ANY MEDIA,
I MENTIONED IT HERE AT FLOPPING ACES,
but being new I was not being important enough to be believe, in a broken english,
NOW THAT I am perfect in ENGLISH IT’S EAZIER FOR ME TO EXPRESS THE WORDS WHICH FIT MY INTENT,
    yes?

Can anybody tell me what the ones who ILLEGALLY WALKED INTO THE USA have done to EARN THE RIGHT TO CITIZENSHIP that the ones who filled out the forms to become American citizens, then got in line, and are waiting their turn, didn’t do?
