Of course the man is getting under the skin of liberals, like Steve Benen complaining that West wants our leaders to lead by example…imagine that, our leaders in Washington leading by example:
Rep.-elect Allen West (R-Fla.), well positioned to be one of the House’s most ridiculous members, is the featured interview today in the New York Times’ Sunday magazine.
The NYT’s Deborah Solomon asked West about President Obama’s relationship with the military. The right-wing Republican, a scandal-plagued Army veteran, replied, “I don’t know, you gotta ask guys in the military, but I will tell you this: I think that going in in the middle of the night doesn’t show leadership.”
…But I’m also fascinated by what unhinged conservatives can come up with when it comes to whining about the president.
I guess Benen must of slept through the Bush presidency and the complete, utter lunacy that came from the left.

You don’t read so well, I never said anything about republicans other than I would not use that term, go back and re-read. Conservatives believe in small government with power at the state level, Socialist believe in a State (note the different caps there!) controlling everything, if you lived under a dictator, they I assume then you know what the difference is in a State run by the government and a state run by citizens. You don’t have a thing to worry about from Conservatives as long as you don’t try ans subvert the Constitution. I don’t know where you come from, but Democrats (big caps) have changed here, they are the old Socials Party of America, you may also be familiar with it under the name of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics – you know the one under Stalin and Lenin that killed / murdered millions of their own countrymen for political gain. Don’t come here and drop a shit bomb and they say that is all you have to say about it, man up and make a cogent argument for what you stand for. Many of us here have had disagreements, we don’t throw tantrums. Here Socialist, Democrate, Progressive all are the same idologey, that the State knows what is best for us, all social outcomes should be the same no matter the effort that individuals put into the endevor, we also call that slavery. If you haven’t been paying attention, a lot of this administration are admitted and proud Socialists, worry about them not West. And if you did just come from a dictator/socialist country, then I expect that you really are not as liberal as you think that you are….

OT, I didn’t really mean a raw steak, I like a steak with a crust on the outside, just so you know it has been on the fire. Bushmills is an excellent drink with breakfast. I like it with coffee on the side, it helps keep the civilized amongst us more at ease during intense conversation, but I must draw the line with orange juice. We used to have a huge Cuban exile population in Huntington Park, CA, where my dad set up his metal shop.
I used to eat Cuban as a child and teen.
But hubby found it to ”exciting” and we laid off it for a few years.
Then I tried to find good Cuban food and learned that the Cubans had dispersed from there.
We have a few so-so Cuban food places.
But one guy I used to know – his son – went to Oregon.
Set up a place in Portland…..I think he did.
