Mexican President Whines About Our Border Laws, Obama Lies About Our Border Laws, And Michelle Obama…Well, She Is Just Plain Ignorant

Loading

The utter stupidity, the utter hypocrisy, in these stories are mind-boggling. First we have Michelle Obama telling a kid that WE need to fix the fact that her mom doesn’t have papers.

First lady Michelle Obama told the child of an apparent illegal immigrant on Wednesday that immigration policy should be “fixed” so her mother could remain in the United States.

During a trip to an elementary school in Silver Spring, Md., with the first lady of Mexico, Margarita Zavala, Obama took questions from one young girl who said that she had heard “that Barack Obama is taking everybody away that doesn’t have papers,” adding later that her mom lacks such paperwork.

“We have to work on that. We have to make sure that people can be here and get the right kind of papers; that’s exactly right,” Obama responded. “We have to work on that. We have to fix that.”

Oh really? WE need to fix them for her instead of her Mom having the responsibility to become a citizen, legally, herself.

Just another nanny government utterance from the queen nanny.

Then we have Obama and the Mexican President whining about Arizona and the fact that this State is actually going to enforce immigration laws. I mean who in the hell do they think they are? Enforce the laws….why, I never heard of such a thing.

First Obama:

We also discussed the new law in Arizona, which is a misdirected effort, a misdirected expression of frustration over our broken immigration system, which has raised concerns in both our countries.

~~~
And I want everyone, American and Mexican, to know my administration is taking a very close look at the Arizona law. We’re examining any implications, especially for civil rights. Because in the United States of America no law-abiding person, be they an American citizen, a legal immigrant or a visitor or tourist from Mexico, should ever be subject to suspicion simply because of what they look like.
No one who reads the statute can point to anything in print that directs law enforcement to arbitrarily ask for papers with no reason other than what they look like. It’s not in there, and to allege as much is dishonest fear mongering partisanship.
And then Calderon:
In reference to the migratory issue, I acknowledge the sensitivity and the commitment of President Obama to look for a comprehensive solution that will be respectful of the rights of the individuals and will be adjusting itself in a realistic way to the needs of both our economies.
In Mexico, we are and will continue being respectful of the internal policies of the United States and its legitimate right to establish, in accordance to its Constitution, whatever laws it approves. But we will retain our firm rejection to criminalize migration so that people who work and provide things to this nation will be treated as criminals. And we oppose firmly the S.B. 1070 Arizona law given unfair principles that are partial and discriminatory.
This coming from a man whose country rigidly protects their borders and each case of being in their country illegally is a FELONY with two years in prison. Second offence, 10 years.
Who could disagree with such a law? It makes perfect sense. The Mexican constitution strictly defines the rights of citizens — and the denial of many fundamental rights to non-citizens, illegal and illegal. Under the constitution, the Ley General de Población, or General Law on Population, spells out specifically the country’s immigration policy.
It is an interesting law — and one that should cause us all to ask, Why is our great southern neighbor pushing us to water down our own immigration laws and policies, when its own immigration restrictions are the toughest on the continent? If a felony is a crime punishable by more than one year in prison, then Mexican law makes it a felony to be an illegal alien in Mexico.
If the United States adopted such statutes, Mexico no doubt would denounce it as a manifestation of American racism and bigotry.
… Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:
Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)
Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)
Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121). Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico — such as working with out a permit — can also be imprisoned.
Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,
“A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally.” (Article 123)
Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from Mexico instead of being imprisoned. (Article 125)
Foreigners who “attempt against national sovereignty or security” will be deported. (Article 126)
Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law:
A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison. (Article 127)
Shipping and airline companies that bring undocumented foreigners into Mexico will be fined. (Article 132)
So for this blow-hard to give us a tongue-lashing over OUR country having to audacity to enforce our immigration laws is beyond the pale. Why is it that every country across this planet can enforce their borders but apparently not the United States. No, we are a borderless nation apparently.”
Calderon is our enemy. Obama is a traitor.
Glad to see this post. Michelle was b*tching that the real problem is that we aren’t acting fast enough to greant amnesty.
And yes, ABSOLUTELY, we should adopt Mexico’s policy for immigration, down to the last word.
Everyone everywhere needs to get behind the “no work if you’re illegal” theme. But the gripers are the more legal ones who are making money off the illegals, I think. Consider all the check cashing stores (I presume this isn’t a local AZ thing) that make it possible for illegals to get their money and send it to Mexico. Big business.
SARAH PALIN 🙄 ,go get them.
what drives me NUTS about all this is that illegals break the laws busting in here and then liberals make sure it’s OUR problem and not the problem of those who broke the law.
Being here illegally IS illegal and there is a specific US Code for that. (1306)
It’s supposed to be cruel for us to consider separating families of illegals.
Thing is, if some is convicted or murder do we have to worry about separating that person from his or her family?
Myabe I shouldn’t mention it else some liberal get an idea…..
obama said, “We also discussed the new law in Arizona, which is a misdirected effort, a misdirected expression of frustration over our broken immigration system, which has raised concerns in both our countries. ”
Our broken immigration system – yeah, you a-hole, THE LAWS ARE NOT BEING ENFORCED, THAT IS WHAT IS BROKEN. damn traitor.
“Every border stat should adopt Mexico’s Law”, there fixed it for ya!
First question to be asked of these “idiots”…How exactly is our immigration system broken?
The only things I see broken are lack of a secure border and no enforcement of laws for those here illegally. I never hear from people who are in the system complaining about how broken the system is. If they do have complaints, fixing those should be relatively easy and then the system will no longer be “broken”.
Sarah you are the best we have in the US. Thanks for watching our back. 😳
What we NEED is a National Guardsman with a Barrett about every 200 yards along the entire length of the border.
RatDog, What we need is a President, Sec of HS and an Atty General that have read and understand Federal Law and took their oaths of Office in Good Faith.
What we have is a very tenacious and brave Governor of the State of Arizona that is deserving of National Support from every Governor of Every State in the Republic. We have a Divided House as Lincoln put it and it cannot stand for long in this state of disarray.
A failure to Act to secure the Borders on the part of the Current Regime is both shameful, Un Constitutional and unconscionable in my book. Despite repeated requests to the Federal Government for assistance, Arizona stands alone. If I was released from Active Duty today I would go home and get my affairs in order and volunteer my services to the State of Arizona on the next flight south out of Missoula bound for AZ.
My allegiance is to the US Constitution and not to the Temporary Office Holders, Elected, Appointed or otherwise employed. It is a matter of Principle of Law, not Politics or Partisanship. I am not party affiliated but I an an American first. My Oath covers defending the Constitution against all enemies both Foreign and Domestic. I aim to keep that Oath.
OLD TROOPER:hi, it’s frustrating for a person to stand there not able to do what we can to help GOVERNER BREWER on redressing a situation that she endure for quite a while,expecting the PRESIDENT to take her side and act according to her situation,not according to the illegals situation;but the fact that she made her law before it’s in her favor,she might have been very disapointed to wait for the government own law. and like you said ,she hould have the support openly mentioned by other STATES,that would confront the inaction of the government. bye
😕
How rude can you get. The Mexican governor is invited to the White House for dinner and insults the host (country).
I wouldn’t want to invite him to dinner at my house, but he was invited to dinner at the people’s house (our house) and the host (Obama) is the big enabler. What a joker.
With all of the illegals, Arizona needs to start sending bills to Mexico for education, health, etc.
We need to vote in November to take back our country.
Mexican politicians are thieves, thieves that are even more corrupt and obvious about dishonesty than our own politicians, it is their goal to steal as much from Mexico as they can before their term limit is up. If their country is over run with destitute people, their position is not secure. Destitute people can become angry and desperate; this can be the impetus for a revolution and the legal continual rape of a country and its people will be over. It s far better to dump your desperate and dangerous people into your neighboring country, that way you can keep your virtual slaves cowering in fear and poverty while you milk the country dry.
Do you think I am mistaken, talk to some literate residents of Mexico who are honest. I’ve had family and property in Mexico since the 70’s, Calderon is a gangster like any of our Mafia people and his police and army are nothing more than thugs. This is why he gets along so well with Obama.
In Mexico, you can commit any crime you can afford to pay for, murdering a gringo can be fairly expensive, so don’t do anything rash. Mexico could be a rich country, it has abundant natural resources and has areas that are abundant agricultural producers; however, when corruption is unchecked, only the Elites have money and the poor are nothing more than slaves. Mexico and its Socialist economy, yes it is a Socialist country, is the goal that Obama has planned for the united States.
By the way if you think the little chica asking about her mother’s lack of papers wasn’t a set up, you are not ready to resist Obama’s Socialism.
@writer at 732pm: Very, very well-said. Thank you so much for all the info and the warning.
It’s supposed to be cruel for us to consider separating families of illegals.
That’s precisely why “anchor babies” should be deported along with their parents. Come to think of it, “anchor-baby” status should be denied on the “rule of law” grounds that prohibits profiting from illegal activities. Most nations recognize as a citizen a baby born of citizens while they are in a foreign land. I don’t know if that is true of Mexican law, but it most likely is. Also of Consideration is that America does not recognize dual citizenship. They can’t have it both ways.
I thought Obama was a ‘constitutional” lawyer or taught constitutional law. Wonder if he read the Constitution. From what I understand (as an aside, I am not a Constitutional lawyer, but only remember high-school civics classes), our government has three branches; judicial (courts), legislative (congress), and executive (president). So, isn’t he supposed to enforce the laws? Not undermine the people responsible for enforcing the law (police).
His comments are a real kick in the pants to every police officer in our country.
