How did I miss this?!
Oh, yeah….’cause it probably wasn’t covered by CNN, MSNBC, CBS….
From an NRA annual meeting in 2009, speech given by Lt. Col. Oliver North:
Hat tip: C.J.
A former fetus, the “wordsmith from nantucket” was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1968. Adopted at birth, wordsmith grew up a military brat. He achieved his B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (graduating in the top 97% of his class), where he also competed rings for the UCLA mens gymnastics team. The events of 9/11 woke him from his political slumber and malaise. Currently a personal trainer and gymnastics coach.
The wordsmith has never been to Nantucket.
Amazing story. It goes to the heart of what Americans do, what we are. We are at our best when under pressure and as this story illustrates, when it comes to helping other people and even other countries, no one matches our generosity and courage.
Great video. Thank you for posting it.
That’s what our military does. The left in our country not so much.
The Left hates us exactly because of that.
Semper Fi Colonel!
DEAR COLONEL OLIVER NORTH
It doesn’t get any classier than Colonel Ollie North discussing the honor those who’ve chosen to be in harm’s way deserve. Thank you for posting this, Wordsmith, it choked me up at the end. Loved it.
I’m surprised that the propaganda media didn’t report the VULGAR Marine to the world.
I suggest all of us pass this along to others like I just did. I sent the below letter in my email:
Watch the below video and and ask yourself if the media is “Fair and balanced.” Be ready to get emotional if you are pro military. Pay close attention to what the Reuters reporter asked the Marine, and what the answer was.
I ask all of you to pass this along to others. If you don’t know how to send it in the “Bcc” window instead of the “To” window where the email addresses go, then please cut and paste it so that others don’t get my email address.
Thanks for being on the right side Wordsmith.
F**k, that made me cry. Why didn’t this get more play? Oh, I remember, it was too positive!
