Disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich’s legal team has requested President Obama be subpoenaed in order for him to testify at the former Governor’s trial set to begin in June. You can view the subpoena HERE. Â Note: This document contains sections that have been redacted.
Rich Miller of Capital Fax has uncovered the redacted items of the Obama subpoena by simply copy and pasting  the pdf file on to a notepad or word document. Rich notes the following embarrassing bombshells:
They also claim that Obama allegedly lied when he said he didn’t have any conversations with Rezko about a casino license…
In a recent in camera proceeding, the government tendered a three paragraph letter indicating that Rezko “has stated in interviews with the government that he engaged in election law violations by personally contributing a large sum of cash to the campaign of a public official who is not Rod Blagojevich. … Further, the public official denies being aware of cash contributions to his campaign by Rezko or others and denies having conversations with Rezko related to cash contributions.
Rezko has also stated in interviews with the government that he believed he transmitted a quid pro quo offer from a lobbyist to the public official, whereby the lobbyist would hold a fundraiser for the official in exchange for favorable official action, but that the public official rejected the offer. The public official denies any such conversation.
In addition, Rezko has stated to the government that he and the public official had certain conversations about gaming legislation and administration, which the public official denies having had.
President Obama is the only one who can testify as to the veracity of Mr. Rezko’s allegations above.

The defense has a good faith belief that this public official is Barack Obama.
Of course the Obama water carriers will be out in force denying all of this. NBC 5 Chicago’s Ward Room notes a judge has called an emergency meeting regarding redaction errors.

Time to call for a special prosectuor to fully investigate Obama’s role.

Does this revelation – without the redaction – create any possibility that it won’t be permitted to be entered into testimony???

Oh my gosh……you mean Obama told a lie about his past dealings, associations, conversations? Please, what else is new about this President?
From this we can deduce that either Obama lied twice, or two other people lied once, or they all lied at least once. In other words, typical politicians. We have to wait for more liars so we can cross-check them. I’m waiting for a shoe to drop about the “Union Official.” Probably Stern–possible relation to his recent retirement? What was his interest in the Senate seat? I think we’re lucky Blago got ticked at all of them and named Burris.
There’s a precise formula for calculating how many times they lied:
1)Count the number of distinct statements they’ve made.
2)Add 2.
3)Multiply by 21.
4)Subtract 42.
5)Divide by 3.
6)Divide by 7.
The result is how many times they lied.
Simple.
Blago really thinks he honest and is hoping to hide behind Obama (who also thinks he is honest) 🙄
This is a master stroke on the part of Blago. Nothing is likely to make this go away faster than summoning the One to expose the seamy, filthy underbelly of Chicago politics.
Its the gangster way if Blogo goes down he won’t go alone..personally I don’t blame him 😈

ObaMao will walk away unscathed. The guy didn’t get where he is with his Chicago cronies by playing the game in a stupid manner…
He may sacrifice one or two of his people to save his own ass but that’s Chicago Politics and somebody is going to pay.
Personally I would like to see him hang Valarie Jarret out to dry, that woman makes a corkscrew look straight.

The crux of this is that Blago wasn’t trying to sell a seat. Rather, O and Rahm were trying to force Blago to appoint Jarrett or a couple of others. They were the ones preferring the offer, they initiated the crime. Rezko was the bagman. Blago brilliantly got out of the WH – Rezko – preferred candidate loop by nominating Burris, and it would be hard to see how anyone wanted Burris or would use him as a bargaining chip. Certainly Blago got nothing out of it, so he can’t be said to have sold the seat.
I bet Rezko mentioned a few more details about this, probably why he is now in an undisclosed location. All it will take is a few more contradictions by O and Rahm to get tripped up. Let’s see–whooo might know something, hmm, maybe a “union official” or “union president” who may already have given some sworn testimony.
John Kass of the Chicago Tribune reads it as a message from Blago to O, that the Won better get him out of trouble. But it may be too late for that. Hope.
