For those who suggest that the indoctrination of school children is nothing more than isolated incidents the growing list of outrageous examples proves the opposite is true.

Last week there was the “Barack Hussein Obama hm..hm..hm…Hello Mr. President, we honor you today! … Hooray Mr. President, you are number one!”

This week at a PTA meeting at Sand Hill Elementary School in North Carolina we find yet another example. Since the news of this video broke, the original which was posted at Hot Air has been moved to private viewing only by the person who posted it at You Tube. However, at the Mike’s America home planet we managed to snag a copy before it was removed from public viewing:

“Uniting blacks and whites. Being both Obama cannot take sides….HOPE! Change has come, change has come! ….YES WE CAN!”

“Education is the key, education is the secret” to indoctrination of a new generation of liberal clones who readily accept the big lies that liberalism tells day after day.

Are YOUR tax dollars being used for this purpose?

If That Weren’t Bad Enough… There’s the “Story of Stuff”

Being shown in schoolrooms across the country is this anti-capitalist screed produced by the socialist Tides Foundation. You can see the video here. Two screen captures follow:

From the Story of Stuff: “Some people in this system matter a little more than others. Who are they? ….My friends tell me I should use a tank to symbolize the government…more than 50% of our federal tax money is going to the military.” Another total lie of the left. Want to know who her “friends” are? Guess George Soros and you win a prize!

It’s no accident that they label the big greedy “corporation” as larger than the federal government. Again, we have to wonder what planet these liberals are living on?

This is nothing more than a full fledged assault on capitalism and the American way of life. The same system which has brought prosperity and freed millions around the world; cured disease and done much to eradicate hunger is made the villain. No socialist system has anything like the record of success in helping humanity that American capitalism has produced.

The Story of Stuff is just the kind of thing that is being forced into the minds of children on a daily basis in our public schools. Taxpayers are paying to indoctrinate the next generation of liberals whose critical thinking skills will be weakened by this assault on reason.

Time to take our country back? Start in the public schools!

It starts at home, then in the schools. We need to hold our schools and teachers/administrators feet to the fire to uphold the values that are taught at home. In my time, what we were taught at home was reinforced in school, that’s where we need to get back to.

In the stimulus package, Obama gave 8 billion dollars to schools. Do we know how the money is being spent, at which schools he gave the money to? Obama’s “revolution” is like water, seeping into every aspect of our life. think George Soros, Tides Foundation, Apollo, Acorn, SEUI and his many czars. This is well thought out, well organized, and very dangerous, especially if MSM will not report the goings on.

Question: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOD AND BARACK OBAMA?

Answer: GOD DOESN’T THINK HE’S BARACK OBAMA! I love this joke…it’s so true.

The Tides Foundation, the NEA Teachers Union, Ayres and Duncan, the Usual Suspects.
If they keep this political indoctrination up Obama and his Bolsheviks will not like the next
Revolution that is coming as a result of these shenanigans. This is the US of A, not 1930s Germany or the old Soviet Union. We do have choices and those that work for US will be reminded of that relationship soon enough.

Actually, as a North Carolinian, my tax dollars ARE going for this stuff. Teacher salaries in North Carolina are paid by the state (with some local supplements).

And when it comes to state employees in NC, teachers, by far, are the most favored. To quote George Orwell in Animal Farm, “All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.” Thus, it is with teachers in NC.

Fortunately, Buncombe County where this school is located was one of only two Western NC counties to go for Obama. The rest stayed true to their conservative, hard-working roots.

my son, who is 5th grade came home with a letter, a blank schedule and a 4 page packet on how to praise a child and have them do their homework. we parents were to sign the letter, which asked us also provide our children with a math tutor and fill out a nightly schedule of the happening in our homes. this is to see when they do their home work and how much parental support they have supposedly. i was pissed, signed the letter, then i wrote my own telling the teacher that my son has perfect scores and does his homework and if he is struggling i will deal with it and our happening at home are irrelivant and none of her business. my friends have said i have balls, i really wanted to put off the wall shit it there like happy hour, communal bath time, daily beatings just to make my point. they are really trying to invade out lives and twist our children.

Anyone living in Wake County, North Carolina, please make sure to get involved in the Oct 6th Wake County School Board Elections. There is a lot at stake!

Please check out an area non-partisan group that has formed to hold the Wake County School Board accountable and endorse candidates that want to focus back on education not indoctrination. In addition to other key, crucial platform points.
http://www.wakesca.org/

If you are not locally involved, or at least monitoring your local school boards actions and voicing objections, what are you waiting for? This is the only way we are going to hold Boards and educators accountable along with taking back control of our schools.

Enough is ENOUGH!

@American Voter: We do need to hold schools accountable at the local level. Thanks for sharing that link.

How does one know that the people running for school board are conservative?

@ Mike’s America
How does one know that the people running for school board are conservative?

Being fairly new to the NC area, this is the path I took.

First_______________________
I looked for a group of local like-minded public education advocates and found one with which I resonated. The advocacy group experience accelerated my learning curve on the local issues and what had taken place the last few years.

That group ended up merging with the http://www.wakesca.org to add strength to our quest for electing board members with shared values… Also,http://www.takewakeschoolsback.com/ shows more specific platform information for the endorsed candidates.

This is a very contentious election. Here is a flavor of just two of the 2009 controversies. (Another non-profit accused of receiving funding and actively campaigning for specific candidates)

http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/5866440/

Second____________________
I became familiar with all the candidates before hearing them debate on the issues facing the Wake County School System. (Through information posted publicly) The debate really distinguished the candidates values and proposed solutions.

Third______________________
Finally, I actually emailed a couple of follow-up questions to some of the candidates…and received responses.

That is how I made the choice out of the pool of candidates and will continue to monitor through the aforementioned parents’ advocacy group–as long as I resonate with their overall values.

I forgot to add in another link to show more candidate information — as you had inquired my selection of candidates. This info was also used in my decision making process. http://www.takewakeschoolsback.com

Information on opposing candidates and advocacy groups was also reviewed.

There is also a video of a N.C. teacher, before the election, scolding a student for preferring McCain for president.

This precursor of the recent raft of indoctrination videos would absolutely sustain the argument that Govt. schools are being used to impress political views instead of teaching.

found it. . .

Speaking of Stalin, Patvann, Steele just send out this email fundraising letter:

Dear Fellow Conservative,

This video just came to my attention. I’m so outraged and stunned by its content that I had to share it with you.

Watch the video now and see the indoctrination of our nation’s greatest treasure — our children.

In the video, impressionable youngsters at a public school in New Jersey, most of whom are no more than six or seven years old, have been instructed to sing the praises of “Barack Hussein Obama.” One song is even set to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic.

This is the type of propaganda you would see in Stalin’s Russia or Kim Jong Il’s North Korea. I never thought the day would come when I’d see it here in America
[my emphasis].

This is the type of fanaticism Republicans are up against as we fight to stop the Obama Democrats’ radical leftist transformation of America. The only way our Party can defeat their liberal ambitions is by electing more Republicans in the upcoming 2009 state elections and the critical 2010 mid-term elections.

Do your part today by making a secure online contribution of $10, $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can right now to the RNC. Your gift will provide the resources we need to reveal the Obama Democrats’ true leftist intentions for our country and carry our Republican candidates to victory this fall and beyond. Please help us win this fight for the future of America.

Sincerely,

Michael Steele
Chairman, Republican National Committee

I have to say i think this is hyperbole to the nth degree.
