Doesn’t the press gaggle tell a story. Too bad none of them had time to look into the ACORN scandal.

Salesman Obama has been on the TV giving speeches every single day…more speeches in fact than the number of days he’s been in office. He’s managed to bring disapproval of his healthcare bill to 55%. Apparently he is scheduled for all the morning political shows this coming Sunday. By Monday, his disapproval rating should be at 65%. Go Bambi!

Baucus alone at the cacus—says it all.

@Ann

But wait! There’s more!!

This Friday he’ll have a whole hour on Letterman. No other guests.

Then on Sunday, he’ll do 5 news-shows in a row. Only 2 other people have accomplished what’s called the “Ginsberg”. (He was Monica’s lawyer). The other one was Hillary when she was announcing her run for Prez.

Polls show that the more Obama talks about Healthcare, the lower the support for it goes…They MUST know this! They MUST know his utterances and visage no longer work!!

So WHY are they doing this??

Are they that daft?

Obama’s ego will not allow himself to do otherwise! He owns it. He’s married to it. He’s captaining the Titanic mess that is health care and if he could get Rahm Emanuel to browbeat the major television stations to arrange a Jerry Lewis~like Marathon, Obama would do it and keep on screaming from his Feuhrer Bunker stage as his disapproval rating hit 90 plus per cent.

Jack.

My take is that very soon things are going to get nastier. Remember the rules: first they ignore you, then they make fun of you…that is the stage we are in right now.
We should not get disoriented. That is their strategy, the left wants to overwhelm us so that we give up in despair. Let’s keep up the good work by telling the American people the truth.

Psst. Hey Jack…

Pay attention to the name of the poster you’re quoting. Less confusion that way. 😉

Not that Ann isn’t quotable. 🙂

@URI: How can they get any nastier than to suggest that we are all ironing our white robes and getting ready to go lynching through the countryside?

If they go much further down this road the American people will start laughing at them. They have become THAT sad and desperate!

Think of all the failed vetures in Congress’ past. How about Graham-Rudman-Hollings. Yeah, those guys were on tosomething back in the 1980’s when they stopped deficit spending. Un-huh.

Baucus looks very stupid in tossing this one out to rot in the sun. I cannot see a gaming strategy by Obama that had him orchestrating this – as a throwaway negotiating point. No one was behind this concept – so letting it die or dropping it gives Obama nothing. It’s just wasted paper.

As I understand it, Baucus’ bill doesn’t stand a chance. He thought it’d be safe to fund things by taxing “gold plated” insurance policies… but it turns out unions all have those. So union lobbiest have been running around telling their pet politicians that they can’t support any bill that taxes union members for healthcare.

Too funny.

Here’s what I know about Max Baucus. As he was one of my Senators for a good portion of my Naval career and 5 years after I retired.
He appeared at an assembly at Havre High School when my youngest daughter was a student there. When asked why he went into politics, his answer was that he didn’t have anything better to do.
The man is heir to one of the largest cattle ranches in the State. That being the Sieben Ranch in the mountains just north of Helena. The outfit has it’s own exit on Interstate 15! And he said nothing better?!?!?!?!?
I figure he was just afraid of real work. Being a real cowboy is hard and demanding work. It must have scared him.
And he is owned by the railroad and teachers unions in Montana. Mom was a schoolteacher, I know this for a fact.
Just thought everyone should know.

Interesting article in Salon:

http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2009/09/16/baucus/

Baucus had managed, it seemed, to produce bipartisan unity after all — but against, not for, his bill. The whole point of the exercise had been to get Republicans on board, and they walked away. Baucus himself had said, last week, that a deal was there to be had, but “it comes down to a matter of political will.” The GOP turned out not to have it. But Baucus still sounded surprised to finally learn that.

How funny that these libs STILL insist that the GOP should get on board with this monstrous government take over of health care. It’s as if the Town Hall protests never happened and the GOP Senators are just being silly.

But the first sentence reveals that the real problem here isn’t Republicans opposition, but that of Democrats.

Are Democrats who block this health bill also racists?

@Mike’s America: Make that “white uniforms”. HAHAHAHA. I’m already laughing at this clown.

I think it should be thrown right back at them. I’ve never seen such discusting behavior coming out of elected representatives. Nothing surprises me when it comes from Carter or MSM, hand in hand they are setting a very low bar.

RE: Mike’s America

My point is that the left is going to get physically violent towards the conservative movement. We know that when they are left without arguments, they get violent.

Much of it is to due with their inferiority complex, lack of commun sense and brains.
If we are so divided now, can you only imagine next year?. I hope to be absolutely wrong.

I expected riots if Obama had lost. I wasn’t alone…you didn’t see many McCain/Palin bumper stickers around here, the land of PC silliness and new age woo-woos. I had an Obama sticker in my glove compartment just in case…thinking it could save my car from vandalism. It’s still there…just in case. Undercover is better than beaten up or dead if you’re out numbered. And, yes, I have considered buying a Beretta and going to gun safety classes…there actually are some here.

@URI: I think we are already seeing some of that. The school bus beating of a white boy by black students is just the tip of the iceberg.

Mike’s America – I saw that video, and if it were white kids kicking the sh*t out of a black kid, the good Rev Al, Jesse, Wright, etc would be screaming for their lives. Total silence out of them on this one. Just goes to show ya – a low-life in infancy will remain there until taught better. Obviously these guys were not. Their actions have proven it over and over again. Too bad their parents did not stress to them the importance of integrity, class, morals, etc. Poor lesson to be showing for future generations.
I pity anyone who has the misfortune to come under the attack of these ignorant a**holes (I’m referring to the Revs here).
Madalyn

I wonder if there are statistics on black violence against whites? I had a friend during the Prop 187 fight who had been a Lefty Dem Lib right up until being shot by a black “brother”. He was convinced it was the dirty little secret in race relations.

Mike: And the arrogance of Serena Williams agaisnt an Asian woman who is half her size( but with twice the brain). And Kenya West? As Al Gore used to tell us..” You ain’t see’ng nothing yet”.

If Obamacare does not pass, you will see Van Jones and Acorn whipping us!

PS: Pelosi just went on TV crying to express her deepest fears..but she continously humiliates half of the American people by calling them un-American and astroturf.

@URI: I think the violence Nancy is talking about during the late 70’s was when the gays rioted in SF…when Harvey Milk was killed? Or when Dan White got a slap on the wrist? Yep, they are a very angry, nasty group having been entitled by many SF administrations. Speak against them to your peril.

Ann: Do you remember Miami and Tampa. Of course you will not find “statitstics” on that, it would be like they say “racial profiling”. Now we could focus on Brasil because they also had slavery. Most Brasilians would tell you that they see themselves as Brasilians and not as African-Brasilians or German-Brasilians or Italian-Brasilians. These racial classification has been done and implemented by ‘Liberals with an agenda to create cultural divisions.

@URI: You are right about that. I read a quote in the Marin Independent Journal from a former political ally who made that much repeated and ridiculous statement made by by black Americans “For the first time I feel like this is my country” or “I feel like an American for the first time.” Well, I always knew they were Americans and always flinched when someone said “African-American”, even when I was a Dem. But then, I was an oddity back then too, an independent thinking Democrat working to pass Prop 187.

One thing I know for sure is that many minorities have been relying on being professional victims in order to justify their own lack of initiative. Victimization doesn’t appeal to me. If you are facing daunting circumstances, there’s a recognizable path of growth. Victim grows into Survivor who eventually grows into Victor and Successful Human and sometimes even Hero. As most here know, no one can do this for you…though there are usually mentors along the way who can recognize someone reaching for new beginnings.

@Ann

Victim grows into Survivor who eventually grows into Victor and Successful Human and sometimes even Hero.

Now THAT is a great statement.

*Tips hat*
