Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 27% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. These figures mark the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President. The previous low of -12 was reached on July 30 (see trends).
Prior to today, the number who Strongly Approved of the President’s performance had never fallen below 29%. Some of the decline has come from within the President’s own party. Just 49% of Democrats offer such a positive assessment of the President at this time.
Unemployment continues to rise:
…the Labor Department report Friday showed that joblessness remains widespread as 26 states reported higher unemployment rates. Many economists expect jobs to remain scarce nationwide and the unemployment rate to top 10 percent by the end of the year, up from 9.4 percent in July.
Fifteen states and the District of Columbia are suffering from unemployment rates above 10 percent. Michigan’s rate was 15 percent in July, down from 15.2 percent in June — the first time any state’s jobless rate had topped 15 percent since 1984.
The states with the next highest jobless rates in July were: Rhode Island, at 12.7 percent; Nevada, 12.5 percent; California, 11.9 percent; and Oregon, also at 11.9 percent. Four reached state record highs: Rhode Island, Nevada, California and Georgia.
And the spending goes out of control:
The Obama administration will raise its 10-year budget deficit projection to approximately $9 trillion from $7.108 trillion in a report next week, a senior administration official told Reuters on Friday.
The higher deficit figure, based on updated economic data, brings the White House budget office into line with outside estimates and gives further fuel to President Barack Obama’s opponents, who say his spending plans are too expensive in light of budget shortfalls.
The White House took heat for sticking with its $7.108 trillion forecast earlier this year after the Congressional Budget Office forecast that deficits between 2010 and 2019 would total $9.1 trillion.
Is anyone really surprised that the man who can’t keep a promise is tumbling back down to earth while Sarah Palin is continuing to take control of the debate from…..facebook! Of course she is just a stupid hick from Alaska right?

What really bothers me is his audacity to ask the press to respect his daughters’ privacy; however, He and his press have destroyed the privacy of Sarah Palin’s children!. What the liberals and the press have done to Mrs. Palin and her family is out of this world.
By the way, the BBC had an article yesterday describing who is taking care of them during their vacation…a large group of” Brazilian inmigrants”. Aren’t these “Brazilians” all members of Acorn… the private army that he mentioned during his campaign.
