I still think Condi should have shot that raving moonbat in the face.

One good thing about the anti-ObamaCare protests, the town-hall meeting protests and the already deeper national deficits throughout the U.S. this year and next year is that people, citizens, are creating a ground-swell of support for more conservative representatives in Congress.

The Pelosi’s, the Harry Reid’s and Obama types in this country should be afforded a generous reading of the riot act. They are on their way out. Senior citizens, and many wealthy Americans have already decided against increased taxes and the ugly experiment with Obama and his socialism. It is dead. Obama’s perverse health care reform is dead.

“*A year from now when the 2010 congressional elections are ramping up, let’s remind our friends and family of just what the Democrats think of them!”

We need fresh, honest, moral, law abiding, freedom loving, country loving people representing us in Washington and I do believe that some of the lifers presently running our country for the benefit of themselves and their cronies will be joining President Obama’s growing unemployed come 2010…..

….(unfortunately I forget where I read/heard this so I am blindly repeating)
“*If Republicans take control in 2010 roll back Democrats disasterous programs and things turn around for our country it could help Obama get elcted to a second term in 2012”

But if he’s a lame duck that wouldn’t be so bad…right ?
.

It is dead. Obama’s perverse health care reform is dead.

Not so fast my friend. While we (70% of the general public) would prefer that this legislation—in its present form— “is dead”, I would remind my conservative friends that the House and the Senate needs not one vote from the Republican side to PASS anything the Democrats care to put into law. It should also be noted that while public opinion is strongly against this legislation in its current form, our liberal “friends” along with their media lemmings have the ability to change just enough of the “wording” in this to have their media lapdogs “make the claim” that the government has no intention of controlling the health care insurance and primary care industries—-which would be a total lie.

In my lifetime of observing the politics of government, (from Eisenhower to present), there has never been so much deliberate deception, cunning subterfuge, and yes, arrogant display at the attempt to change this nation so radically into a country that will be so dependent on its government, the final ramifications may become irreversible. Without a tremendous groundswell of grassroots public outcry that must remain continuous, (and with all due respect, the nonsense of claiming anything this current liberal ideology presents—“is dead”), would be not only presumptuous on our part, but also a gross miscalculation at this juncture.

This political and ideological battle is far from over or dead. Our future and our children’s future depends on swinging this socialist government controlled pendulum back in the direction where individual responsibility, and the liberty’s that our founding fathers were so profoundly protecting, remain intact. Any reclusion or assumption that “the other side” has come to their collective senses could become a historically desolate chapter in the life of this still great nation.

I can’t believe it, this guy is comparing us to zombies and telling the Democrats to bring guns to Town Hall meetings:

Where will they stop??? Isn’t there anything we can DO???

“*It is dead. Obama’s perverse health care reform is dead.”

I don’t believe that. President Obama doesn’t have a health care plan, just like he didn’t have a ‘recovery plan’ or a ‘bank/insurance/Wall Street saving plan’ or an ‘auto business plan’.
IMO Obama will sign anything that says “health care plan” on the cover… its the strong arm mafia/community organizer way get a foot in the door, muscle your way in and take over.

Had it been Darth Cheney (awesomeness be upon him), your wish might’ve been granted.

Hillary was a big fan of protesting too, protesting Bush that is.

I believe that Rovin is quite correct. I live in New Jersey, and I have to say that both of my democratic senators absolutely disregard anything that conservatives say or do. They are so completely arrogant, that if one sends them a letter protesting something – anything – they will send a response that begins with an explanation of the subject or the bill (as if you know nothing about it and ignoring what you previously wrote), proceed with their reasons why they will do what they will do (often unsubstantiated by any facts or a complete set thereof), and then – this is the kicker – they will end with “I am sure that you agree with me…”.

If there were riots in New Jersey over health care – in fact, if the LEFT began assaulting people regularly over health care issues at any meetings, it would not affect Menendez’ or Lautenberg’s votes FOR the obamanation of a healthcare plan that is being touted. Instead, the conservatives would be blamed. I feel confident that NO MATTER WHAT we conservatives do between now and the Autumn session of Congress, these two have already committed to anything that obama wants. Just look at their voting records. I pray that not all states are in such sad shape as we are.

I’m watching Specter getting grilled right now and his constituents are well read and handing him his ass politely. Specter is lying through his teeth on not increasing the deficit. His constituents have struggled with the draft bill and amendments but know more than Specter.

The Senate bill is still in draft form and not on the table yet for discussion or distribution yet.
Is it Un-American to question these Political Hacks and Whores, Nope. It is the duty of All Citizens to question and expect straight answers from their Elected Reps. It its the duty of the Elected to be honest and truthful to Those they Serve, the Voters. Not Unions, Lobbyists, ACORN or other special interest groups.

May I point out that there is No Constitutional Mandate for Health Care. The Government needs to either make Social Security and Medicare solvent or stay the hell out of it. The 10th Amendment applies here in spades. No Tort Reform in any proposals. No restriction on limiting taxpayer funded care for those not here legally. A thousand pages of ambiguous crap that have no specifics but leave the door open for mischief, waste fraud & abuse. The Government has no Right under any clause to impose Health Care of dubious quality on Citizens.

I like My TRICARE for Life and it does not need to be fooled with. I pay premiums and copays and cannot support a loss of choice for anyone.

Pelosi, Hoyer & Reid need their heads thumped for their outrageous comments regarding the Right of Citizens to question Government.

@Rovin: Your correct that the Dems will pass a bill with the title “health care reform.” We may beat back the worst of that bill, but my fear is that we will be so relieved that we defeated some of the worst that we let slip by another massive exapansion of medicaid which is already in deep trouble.

There is only one way to really put the brakes on this nonsense and that is to take back control of the House and Senate and hope our leaders have learned their lesson about compromising with the devil.

Regarding President Obama’s ‘Town Hall Meeting’ this afternoon:

Obama has NEVER attended a town hall meeting where the participants weren’t screened in advance and given a list of questions to ask him. How else would his TelePrompTer know how to answer? This will probably be just another parade of sob stories…But I wouldn’t put it past him to stage some pre-arranged violence, either, as a way of discrediting the Tea Party movement.

The news stories about the upcoming Town Hall are predictably hilarious. Samples:

Will GOP Mobs Disrupt Obama’s Town Hall Today? (Huffington Post)

Will there be disruptions at President Barack Obama’s town hall meeting in Portsmouth, NH, this afternoon? (NPR)

Republicans Resorting to Death Threats, Lies and Violence at Town Hall Meetings (American Chronicle)

WH: Obama Prepared For Disruptions At Today’s Town Hall (Talking Points Memo)

The left is getting desperate, and the more I think about it, the more I think they might resort to desperate measures. Obama might well have some agents provocateur in there with bald heads and swastika tattoos. They’ll claim they’re Republicans. They’ll be loud and disruptive and the police will haul them off so Obama can say, “See, I told you so those Republicans are all a bunch of Nazis!”

I hope I’m wrong about this.

Ok. Pelosi called some of Us Nazis and some dipweed Congressman from Michigan compares dissenters to Obama’s Health Care plan to members of the the KKK.

They need to go talk to Robert C. Byrd about the KKK. He knows it first hand.

John Dingell (D-MI), made an irresponsible statement. Know your Enemy. Anyone that has been in Office too long with a (D) behind their names. More fuel for 2010.

John Cooper, You got it nailed. It appears to be very well choreographed and the guest list was groomed to stack the deck obviously. The Dems must have rounded up half of the bootlicking lackies in New England for this dog and pony show. So far the questions bear all of the resemblance of planted inquires.

Some clown just whined about the lack of “bipartisanship” because those Evil Republicans are not participating. When everything is done in closed meetings and Amendments are not allowed it cannot be bipartisan in any shape or form. It is Bull crap. Not one word about Tort reform. This is a sham.

The latest Rasmussen Poll Numbers do not reflect confidence in Obama’s pipe dream Health Care.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

The audience was screened, no tough questions and if anyone believes that this plan will not load up the deficit they need their heads examined. No SEIU purple shirted thugs in the crowd but maybe they are going “plainclothes”.

Without Tort Reform this is all going into the weeds and not focused. Without an accurate cost attached to it it is a scam like TARP and Cash for Clunkers. Not sustainable. Period.
