Left wing fascists think their opinion gives them the right to disrupt the freedoms enjoyed by the rest of us!

Hard to believe this took place at the hotel hosting the White House Correspondents Dinner. Do you think the Secret Service would let these loons close to President Obama?

Geez, Mike….I just now left their blogsite after seeing their vid.

Kind of a shocker to come straight here, and find you posting on it.

You snooze you lose Wordsmith.

I sat on it for a whole hour waiting to see if one of you guys would post it. I went back down stairs and watched an old rerun of South Park “Sea People.”

How are the Circus Freaks these days? Did they say why they weren’t at the Dinner to protest Obama? Isn’t he the one air-raiding villages in Afghanistan and killing civilians now a days?

You could have waited until swine grew wings and flu; I wasn’t going to post on it; but I was thinking of adding it as a side diversion in the comments section of your Syke-Co rrespondents Dinner post.

Shame – what nutters. How does that help anything? Who care about Rumsfeld these days anyway? He did the right thing and ignored them.

These women need therapy, long-term, with plenty of calming drugs.

I don’t understand, why’d they harass Rumsfeld? It’s not going to accomplish anything because he doesn’t run things anymore. He hasn’t for 3yrs. It’s Democrats’ war now. It’s Obama’s war, and he’s going to keep it going indefinitely. Why not protest Obama?

Ohhhhh, ’cause they’re gripe was never really about the war, but rather about Repubs. If it was about the war…they’d be protesting today as strongly as they did years ago.

Curious, are we supposed to support the indefinite was now that Obama’s President, or should we still oppose it like he did in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008?

I just had a happy thought… When BO brings the terrorists, er, guests from Gitmo, and puts them up in some spiffy place, all of Code Pink should sign up to be the housekeepers and maids… wouldn’t that be splendid???

Do people on the left have any manners. This President and his supports have no clue about tact, order, respect, and an laundry list of twenty other things that allow us to have a sane functioning country.

It gets scarery by the day.

To think our brave men and women of the Armed Forces offer their service (and sometimes, even their lives) to protect these women’s right to free speech in America. What would happen to them if they protested the great “O?”

Oh, and while I am at it, there is no comparable comparison to anything any Republican has done. No phony moral equivalence possible this time.

My question is did these “people” get arressted and charged for disturbing the peace, harrassment, or attempt to incite a riot?

@Aleric: Doubtful they were arrested or charged. This is the same bunch who have done this and worse at Congressional hearings without any sanction at all.

The same harpie that was shouting the loudest in the video also did this little number at a Congressional hearing when Condi Rice was testifying as Sec of State:

Now, had this been two grandmothers from the Tea Parties asking a polite question the Dept. of Homeland Security would have shipped them to Guantanamo Bay by now.

These women ARE on calming drugs – and apparently the therapy they’re getting from a lefttard shrink is working perfectly. Otherwise they’d demonstate some REALLY bizzare behavior!

Rumsfeld should get a restraining order against these people. One of those where you have to stay 500 feet away, etc. They are obviously deranged and stalking him; they may be dangerous.

I would think that this video would present to a court sufficient evidence to get one. Then if they ever pull a stunt like this again, they can be arrested on the spot for violating the order.

That woman reminds me of when I was in first grade. There were two bullies, much bigger than I in the neighborhood that picked on me. Mom got tired of me whining and told me that the next time they bothered me I needed to yank them down by their braids and drag them as far as I could. Thank goodness the next time there was only one, I did it, I believed in my mom and, it worked. Wish I was there for Rummy.

@GaffaUK: If only the misdeeds of those on the left were treated to the same level of meida attention that is directed at Republicans the voters would hold Dems accountable.

In case you were not aware, there was very little, if any, reporting of the firestorm surrounding Nancy Pelosi. Meanwhile, you knew every little rumor and smear about Sarah Palin. You didn’t know the facts about Palin but that’s not the point.

Do you understand the point?

@Wordsmith: What do you want to bet those same moonbats who revel in their disruptive “activism” will be the first to condemn the anti-abortion protesters at Notre Dame when Obama speaks?

P.S. When did “confoozled” become a word?

Well I’m not responsible for the media & also people from both side tend to view the media as bias aganist their views.

With Pelosi I notice an item was posted about that from The Daily Show which accurately summed her up and mocked her position.

May 16th, 2009 at 3:50 am
 24Reply to this comment

@GaffaUk: You cite the Daily Show as an example of news balance?

Are you aware how few people watch that show? 871,000 average viewers for primetime Comedy Central broadcasts out of a potential evening television audience of 70 million or more.

The bias on the Pelosi story is one of omission. If the major networks don’t report it, it didn’t happen. Some major networks did finally carry the Pelosi news conference, but stressed her accusation that the CIA lied to congress. People watching those broadcasts might be totally unaware that she had already said several versions of the story of what she knew and did.

Most of the networkds did NOT cover the revelation from Obama’s CIA Director which said they did NOT lie.

It’s a very serious, criminal matter to mislead congress. Unfortunately, the mainstream news organizations are ignoring the story as it tends to show that it is PELOSI who is lying to Congress.

@GaffaUK: Did you miss this?

“Some major networks did finally carry the Pelosi news conference, but stressed her accusation that the CIA lied to congress.”

I notice you cite fox news. THEY covered this story from the beginning.

And as for the other links you provided, they are mostly AP reports.

Other than ABC, did you find a major network (CNN doesn’t count. Have you seen their viewer numbers) that BROADCAST this story and not just the Pelosi accusation?

You do understand the difference between an AP report on a web site and a broadcast report don’t you?

@Mike

So out of the Big Four TV networks we know at least Fox and ABC carried it – so that’s 50% of the main channels. As I don’t have access to 24 hr access to US TV and I doubt you watch it around the clock either – we can’t be sure on NBC and CBS. And I wouldn’t trust such a blatant resource as newsbusters who only report so called ‘liberal’ bias.

You mention 70 million potential viewers but it seems individual news programmes are lucky to get one-tenth of that out of a population of 300 million. The Pelosi story has been reported on Daily Show, CNN and MSNBC – and by the chart you linked a large slice of viewing is now cable. Add the millions who used the internet or newspapers for news then this story is hardly buried.

Plus you seem to make out that the gatekeepers of news at US networks are people like me. So how do I as an individual go about holding the left accountable?

May 18th, 2009 at 2:57 am
 28Reply to this comment

@GaffaUK: Sorry, but Fox News is a CABLE network and is not considered one of the “Big Three” with traditional evening newscasts.

And ABC only arrived at the story late. If this had been a Republican each of the majors CBS, ABC, NBC would cover it nightly with breaking news reports throughout the day.

The bias here is undeniable.

And if you stopped spinning long enough you would realize it.

P.S. The Daily Show, CNN and MSNBC usually don’t even get the audience COMBINED that Fox News gets and it is a very small slice of the overall pie.

I gave you links to all the information you may have needed to form an intelligent opinion on this issue and yet you continue to spin. What’s up with that? Can’t face the fact that you are WRONG and badly informed?

Oh well! We can’t all be perfect.

@Mike

Why does it matter if Fox is cable – seems that plenty of people have access to that now and Fox News is up there with ABC, CBS and NBC. I’m not denying there is a bias – but that the accusations are continous and bias in themselves.

Do the right ever point out bias in Fox? Do the right ever admit it if there are bias stories on ABC, CBS & NBC? It seems you want these channels to reflect your views as if your views are non-biased. All media gatekeep the news to what they feel is relevant.

And if you believe in the free market then what obligation should media have to report non-biased news (as if that was even possible).

btw – has FA reported the story about Rumsfeld placing Bible quotes on briefings? Haven’t seen that appear yet….

Gawd, Gaffa… you really need to get “out” more news wise.

The Biblical quotes was not a Rumsfeld thing. It was an Air Force Maj. Gen. Glen Shaffer thing who included them on the briefings back to Bush He retired in August 2003. As far as I can see, it’s only a story to dedicated conspiracists. Meaning what’s the story and why should anyone report on it without an agenda?

His bio is here. (translation, his briefings and biblical inclusions lasted a year)

So what’s your point? Or do you even have a point, and this is just your subtle suggestion meant to incite speculative frenzy far removed from a single fact?

@GaffaUK: “Why does it matter if Fox is cable”

It matters because so many Americans STILL get their primary news from one of the big three news outfits: ABC,NBC,CBS.

Those three reach approximately 20 million households each evening:

http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/evening_news_ratings/evening_news_ratings_week_of_may_11_116864.asp

If Fox News runs a story it gets viewed by many less viewers than the big three.

Do you understand now the not so subtle bias of not reporting a story like Pelosi?

Or do I need to explain it again?
