Obama ___ Before The One You Serve

Loading

bow

200+ Years ago, a man was elected our first President after successfully fighting the first democratic revolution against the world’s greatest superpower at the time. President George Washington, the first American soldiers, sailors, Marines, Rangers, and people….
refused to bow down before the one they were told to serve. Once President, Washington never bowed or asked anyone to bow.

What was the point of the revolution if not to say,
‘no man needs to bow before another-especially a King’

UPDATE:
Rather than admit a simple mistake of protocol, or an err in judgement, the White House tells us that we did not see what we saw.

It’s the “kowtow bow”.

I have to agree with Oliver North. B. Hussein didn’t bow to the King of Saudi Arabia. He CURTSIED.
Obama revealed his true self in that one motion of subservience.
Perhaps B Hussein would be better off living in the King’s Hareem rather than being President of the U.S.A.?

I have to agree with Oliver North. B. Hussein didn’t bow to the King of Saudi Arabia. He CURTSIED.

That’s what passed through my mind when I finally saw what everyone was making a big deal about. It looked more like an awkward curtsy.

I still think more is being made out of it than is warranted; but I think it puts to rest Democrat partisans who love drumming up Bush shaking hands with the Saudis.

Ollie might have said it first on national airwaves, but I thought it first…in private….like a tree falling in the forest. 😉

Well why not? After all, who’s to say it DID happen! Certainly not ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC….

Don’t flame me, but I saw the vid where W did the same.
Call me funny, but he should be bowing to us!

@Hard Right:

I’m not going to flame you but I will question you about that claim.

The video that I saw of Bush “bowing” was one in which he simply leaned over so that the King could place a chain and medallion around his neck. What I saw in that video was hardly a bow.

Did you see something different than that?

You do know that Washington was an officer in the British Army, via his being lieutenant colonel in the Virginia Regiment. His main claim to fame at this time was his triggering of the French and Indian War, by attacking a French diplomatic/armed escort party as they were getting up and preparing breakfast.
Technically, he was a traitor, having once sworn an oath to the king.

AC, perhaps I am the victim of clever editing. It WAS from CNN after all.

@Hard Right:

It’s easy to fall for something when the person(s) presenting a clip or quote have deceptive intentions in mind.

Here’s the entire CNN clip that I saw.

There is no embed code that I could find. Perhaps someone here who is smarter than I am can find a way to embed it.

Is this the same video that you were referencing?
