North Korea to Launch ICBM-AGAIN

Loading

Ahhhh, you know it’s that time of year again. Kim Il Jong’s birthday is around the corner, political change in Washington DC, the Groundhog’s seen his shadow, and North Korea’s got to do some sabre rattling/mettle testing. Yes boys and girls, it’s time to show everyone that North Korea is a threat to the United States

North Korea is preparing to test fire a long range missile capable of striking the United States, according to media reports in South Korea and Japan this morning.

The Yonhap News Agency in Seoul quoted South Korean officials who described satellite image showing a long cylindrical object being transported on a train through the North Korean countryside. The sinister object has been identified as a Taepodong-2, an intercontinental missile with a range of more than 4000 miles, capable of crossing the Pacific and striking targets in Hawaii or Alaska.

Capable of hitting Alaska huh? What do those people know about foreign affairs? North Korean missiles aimed at your cities, Russian bombers buzzing the mountains, Russian ships and subs off the coast…Alaskans are oblivious to it all.

They probably won’t hit Alaska since Gov can see them with her missile defense system. Hawaii?? Well,,they have hope.

I hadn’t thought about the Hawaiian President aspect of this. Good point.

Quick Odummer, head on over and talk to them

No DON’T talk to them. He’ll probably give them a piece of TARP.

I am in Alaska and ‘NO’ we are not oblivious to it, although Washington D.C. politicians are. We Alaskans are very aware that the might of the Air Force in the Pacific Rim is in Alaska. While we know that we are also aware that North Korea has pointed out the ‘Alaska strike ability’, while we also know that Putin in Russia has been making claims since he was in charge of the KGB that ‘he will take Alaska back by force’.

Alaska has been and will remain the North America’s front line. The command of all Pacific Rim Forces is headquartered in Alaska. Also, with our stratigic location, military presence, and natural resources (that we are not allowed access to, but an invading nation would develope) , Alaska would also provide invading nation a foothold on the North American Continent…..we are very aware of these threats.

We routinely engage the Russian airforce testing our radars on the water and the air, we see them testing our response time. We also routinely engage North Korean, Malaysian, and Indonesian vessels testing our ‘water response’ and procedures.

We are not oblivious to the threats. And remember the comment ‘I can see Russia’ did not come from Gov. Palin but instead Tina Fey.

Gov. Palin takes our States security and our Nations security very seriously, and Gov. Palin is very aware of the fact that we are on the front line.

And Iran just launched a satellite.

Dangerous world.

I noticed that too Larry. Interesting that they share missile technology, and both prepare to launch the pinnacles of that technology at nearly the same time.

It’d be interesting to see if they did that same timing pattern back in July 06 when DPRK launched a bunch of missiles-including some at Hawaii-and each and every one had a “malfunction.”

re the Iranian one…man, I’d REALLY like to know what their first satellite is. Weather? A single communications sat? Perhaps a little Sputnik that beeps, or what? Scary. I know I’ll be looking up at the sky tonight and wondering…what IS up there now?

Why don’t we ask the space station group to attempt to maneuver and have a closer look…. :0)

Satellite is in low orbit. Station in very high orbit

What… no powerful scopes aboard??? LOL I love seeing that very bright space station in the sky on those nights it’s viewable. Just boggles the mind as to the view they have of things.

Oh I KNOW!!! At our big 4th of July party (one of em) last year, it flew over w the shuttle a minute behind. We all looked up and watched in absolute awe. The view here is great, and it was a perfect night for it. Wonderful. Just wonderful. I’m TOLD that you can actually see it w binocs, but never had luck. I do have a telesscope, and will try sometime with that, but usually too cold.

To those not bright enough to notice….

Satellite today….nuclear warhead tomarrow.

I’ll put my bets on Israel and Bibi, Timothy….. We shall see how Israel’s election goes next.
