What is it with all these cartoons with Abraham Lincoln happy about an Obama win.

Sure Lincoln freed the slaves but he was also a founder of the Republican Party would not at all be happy to see them defeated by the Democrats who incidentally did every thing they could to deny blacks civil rights.

LOL he’s the great emancipator

Some should also note that he said “If freeing the slaves would save the union, i would do it, if not freeing the slaves ment saving the union i would do that.” (More or less)

Noticed alot of “Lincoln” praising and whats up with that pot shot on Nancy Reagan from Obama. Its a fact that Hillary was the seance holder. Nancy to my knowledge only consulted a psychic/Taro card reader the night her husband was shot.

Pookie: Thanks for omitting the Lincoln cartoons from your roundup. The last thing I need to see are Democrats trying to usurp the images of great GOP President’s past.

MLK was also a Republican. I’ld have pulled those ones as well as. They endorsed false imagery and the Democrat Liberal mythology/rewriting of history. Although he would have supported minorities running for president, I doubt he would have voted Obama-Biden to put a socialist in the office. The Republicans were the Civil Rights party, no matter how much the Dems love to label us as racists.

Beats the heck out of me, Mike.

Maybe it’s just a hat tip from conservative cartoonists acknowledging the symbolic breaking of the proverbial glass ceiling? Maybe it wasn’t about making a partisan political point, but a statement about America?

For some reason, I knew some would get bent out of shape over them…..yet included them anyway.

Regarding the first of the cartoons (about the 51% of the vote and the “country divided”):

I believe that the President’s statement in 2004 was quite the opposite; he declared something like “I have capital, and I intend to use it.”

Or does my memory not serve me?

Once again you are confused. It isn’t Mata that gives donuts; it is Obama redistributing the wealth. Have you forgotten already or maybe you never listen to the empty words he was saying all the times? Some Obamatrons idiots thought Sarah Palin was his VP… lol
