I was able to drop a bomb on an unsuspecting obamaton when he stopped me out of the blue to talk about obama. I simply said there is one reason above all others as to why I could never vote for the guy – he of course asked what it was, and I answered that I will never vote for a socialist in any government position. Then I reiterated my point using the term communist. The guy was just agape at my statements which allowed me the opportunity to lay out numerous facts about obama. It was wonderful. The guy thanked me politely and walked away. It made my day. (of couse, I go tlucky and was approached by a decent guy and not some emotional nut case that is the usual demokrat that I encounter).

If they show up at my home and get in my face the first phone call I make will be to 911 with the question, do you want to come and get these bodies or do you want me to put them in the manure pile where they belong? Fear for you safety, defend yourself. Hussein O and his backers are worse than ‘Chavez, thugs. That’s a fact of life.

Does this mean that in addition to speaking with them personally we get to play more “Whack-A-Moby” here on FA?

I sure hope so.

I fashioned a new improved hardwood mallet on my lathe last night so I am ready.

Game On!

well if people were afraid of an O.J. Simpson riot, lets get ready for an O.B. Ama riot. As always, its more about the idea than it is about the facts with these people.

I’m reminded of this classic from the 70’s by the O’Jays (no connection intended with the other O.J.):

“What they do… they shout in your face…”

i have had a few obama freaks get snappy at me. i always wonder why they are so angry, do any of us know why they are so angry? they get very loud, like they think if they get louder you will hear them better and step over to the dark side. it’s kinda creepy, they are really ignorant. i have friends with different political views than i do and i never try and shove them down their throat, but they feel the need to try and save me from the “right wing evil”. umm o.k., but i happen to like the “right wiong evil”.

Luva: If I were you I would keep a crucifix and silver bullets handy when the Obamatons are on the loose. Too bad you can’t wear a necklace of garlic too.

Luva,

There are a couple of people in town who have made the mistake of approaching me about the Obamunist.

The last one approached me while my best friend and I were together doing some errands.

I eviscerated this member of the Obamanation with just four questions and left him standing there wondering what had happened to him.

The author of this blog is so wrapped up in his own beliefs that he’ll never be able post anything rational. This blog is pointless.

Obama is telling his supporters to “get in their faces” because that’s one of the few ways to fight the Republican lying distraction machine. Tell the GOP to quit spreading grass root lies and maybe their won’t be democrats “in your face”.

Dan,

Do you care to enumerate the “grass root lies” that you allude to?

There’s a bunch more that I hear when I go visit my relatives out in the boonies, but here’s the main one:

http://www.usatoday.com/news/religion/2008-04-01-obama-muslim_N.htm

Tell the GOP to quit spreading grass root lies and maybe their won’t be democrats “in your face”.

Well, ain’t that priceless. It’s the DNC and their merry band of cyber hit squads that have assailed Palin on smut and perceived scandals, and demeaned McCain about his email useage.

The hypocriticial liberal/progressives are quick to scream about privacy rights and loss of civil rights, but when Palin’s email is hacked, they don’t blink an eye and suggest her private email account should be made available for perusal.

We’re still waiting for Obama medical records. They had to delay the CAC Obama-Ayers financial records for housecleaning before allowing the press to see those… a viable issue, as opposed to Palin’s daughter and her down syndrome baby.

And you say the GOP is spreading grass root lies?

The author of this blog is so wrapped up in his own beliefs that he’ll never be able post anything rational. This blog is pointless.

Well, we can see your reading and comprehensive skills are severely lacking. Otherwise, if you read anything other than this thread, you’d know there are seven authors. Plus the blog’s “founding father” Curt also allows guest reader posts as well.

Pointless? That would be you and your absurd accusations and perpetual whining. But I’m sure Daily KOs will welcome you with open arms. Those that hang there aren’t brain cell heavy, so you’d fit in well.

Let’s see…

Obama’s polygamist father was a Muslim.

Obama’s grandfather was a Muslim.

Obama’s step-father was a Muslim.

Obama’s grandmother says he is a Muslim.

Obama’s brother says he is a Muslim.

Obama has an Islamic name.

In Islam, the father’s religion transfers to the son.

Obama attended a Muslim school and received extensive training in the Qu’ran.

In Islam, the rule is “once a Muslim, always a Muslim”.

Obama may have had a conversion in his own heart and mind. He may consider himself to be a Christian and that’s great.

The Islamic world, however, would disagree. To them, he is either a Muslim or an apostate.

If Obama is indeed what he claims to be, then why did he post multiple, ever-changing nuanced positions about his faith on his website?

The question is are they has bad as Ron Paul Supporters? That gives me a great idea for my blog
http://www.thenewconservatives.blogspot.com/

The Islamic world, however, would disagree. To them, he is either a Muslim or an apostate.

Sorry, I missed the part of your statement that shows me how what someone else believes you to be makes you what they believe you to be.

I don’t care if Obama went to a Muslim school. I went to church for the first 15 years of my life and I don’t believe in god.

Well, ain’t that priceless. It’s the DNC and their merry band of cyber hit squads that have assailed Palin on smut and perceived scandals, and demeaned McCain about his email useage.

Please show me your proof the DNC had anything to do with the hacking of her mail. Then we’ll continue to talk.

Well, we can see your reading and comprehensive skills are severely lacking. Otherwise, if you read anything other than this thread, you’d know there are seven authors. Plus the blog’s “founding father” Curt also allows guest reader posts as well.

Before you get too carried away, I was referring to this blog post, not the entire site. Unlike a lot of you, I read all kinds of blogs from both sides to get different opinions.

And no, I’m not a democrat.

The Islamic world, however, would disagree. To them, he is either a Muslim or an apostate.

Sorry, I missed the part of your statement that shows me how what someone else believes you to be makes you what they believe you to be.

Here’s the part you missed:

In Islam, the rule is “once a Muslim, always a Muslim”.

Finally:

Well, ain’t that priceless. It’s the DNC and their merry band of cyber hit squads that have assailed Palin on smut and perceived scandals, and demeaned McCain about his email useage.

Please show me your proof the DNC had anything to do with the hacking of her mail. Then we’ll continue to talk.

Please show me where Mata accused the DNC of hacking Palin’s e-mail.

Please show me your proof the DNC had anything to do with the hacking of her mail. Then we’ll continue to talk.

Gawd… you are the DNC poster child for failed public education and those needs a helping hand, eh? Even if you aren’t a Dem, so you say. Because you’re sure no conservative if you’re happy to see someone’s email hacked.

Why don’t you show *me* where I said the DNC hacked into Palin’s email. I’ll repeat my paragraph so you can read it… slow. ADDED: I see Aye Chi caught that too… LOL

The hypocriticial liberal/progressives are quick to scream about privacy rights and loss of civil rights, but when Palin’s email is hacked, they don’t blink an eye and suggest her private email account should be made available for perusal.

Mata,

Off topic a bit.

I am having posting issues. Duplicate error message specifically.

I sent an e-mail.

Can you help?

Dan, if you are going to attack the poster of this blog then please direct your comments to me. Besides, your objections don’t make any sense.

As I said in my post you people have been in our “face” for years with your screaming and hysterical attempts to shout down or shut down ALL those who oppose your fascistic view of how America should be run.

A good example today was the liberal fascist who disrupted the McCain Palin rally in Iowa. So much for free speech rights of anyone who disagrees with you.

Funny how we just don’t see that kind of stunt directed at Democrats by Republicans.

I go on and on and on with examples, but you probably don’t care.

As for “Unlike a lot of you, I read all kinds of blogs from both sides to get different opinions” I’ll be happy to compare my internet reading history to yours anyday. And might I recommend that before you start trolling the opinion sites, you actually spend some time reading first hand sources like government reports and whole speeches rather than some biased opinion or “news” site.

I’m only able to be confident in offering my opinion because I have done my homework and not taken my opinions on loan from some other web site, group or individual.

I would recommend you do the same.

How comes Dems never gives a shit about facts? What’s wrong with them? It seems they don’t want to KNOW, they just want to keep BELIEVING what they already falsely believe. There hopless!

Craig,

You hit the nail on the head.

The Dems don’t care about the truth and the facts because they cannot be honest about who they are.

If they were truly honest about what they believe and what they want to do, then they would be resoundingly rejected and thrown into the dust bin of history.

You’ll also notice that from time to time we’ll get these swarms from the fever swamps here on FA.

Once confronted and buffeted a few times by the truth they generally flee like a bunch of seven year old girls.

Here’s the part you missed:
In Islam, the rule is “once a Muslim, always a Muslim”.
Finally:

Ok, here’s my rule.

DELETED BY MODERATOR MH – CROSSED THE LINE

Check it out guys, I made up a rule so it has be true. No matter what you really believe, I’ve just condemned you to a life of being what I prescribed for you.

You’re so pathetic it hurts me to think you’re allowed to vote.

You’re right, I read it wrong the first time I read it. I apologize for the unnecessary tangent. Though, I believe the original statement goes both ways with both parties.

Because you’re sure no conservative if you’re happy to see someone’s email hacked.

Believing that civil disobedience can sometimes be a good thing doesn’t make me a non-conservative. This country was founded by people who took matters into their own hands. I’m not saying that the hacking was the same thing as forming the US, that’d be crazy. I saying it’s the same concept. Sometimes you have to break the rules to make a point. In fact, the only reason I don’t vote for Republicans more often is because I disagree with them on Social issues (gay marriage, separation of church and state, etc). I live in Washington and am seriously considering voting for Rossi over the incumbent Gregoire, but Rossi has yet to prove to me how he’s going to do what he says he will. But, that’s a topic for another time.

As I said in my post you people have been in our “face” for years with your screaming and hysterical attempts to shout down or shut down ALL those who oppose your fascistic view of how America should be run.

Really? I’ve never had a democrat in my face. What do you mean when you say “you people”, surely you don’t know my political affiliation because I disagreed with your conclusions. I also don’t see in your quotes of Obama’s speech showing that he said to stop discussion. It seems to me he was suggesting that the message wasn’t getting through and that you might have to make a scene to get people to listen.

I’m not interested in your e-news e-peen contest. I was just stating why I was at the site so people wouldn’t think I was here to troll.

However, based on the response, I can see why all the comments on the blog posts are all a giant circle jerk. I do read first hand sources.

Dan,

Let me get this straight now.

You’re whining and griping with your panties in a wad about lies being spread but yet in the same exact thread you make things up about people you know nothing about.

Is that right?

Is that the way it works?

You cannot present any facts whatsoever to refute anything I have posted so you just make up something.

I can back up my comments regarding Islam.

I was very clear about those rules/teachings being a part of Islamic belief.

If you would like to fact check me and attempt to prove me wrong feel free to do so.

Dan,
I can back up my comments regarding Islam.
I was very clear about those rules/teachings being a part of Islamic belief.
If you would like to fact check me and attempt to prove me wrong feel free to do so.

So, are you suggesting that someone cannot change beliefs? I’m pretty sure your fact doesn’t mean anything in terms of what someone believes.

If there was a rule that said “once a Christian, always a Christian” in the Bible and I stopped going to church because I figured out religion is huge scam, am I still a Christian? No. I’m not. Maybe the church thinks I am, but I’m not the church and neither is the world.

If Obama drops the religion and changes to a different one, I believe he then drops all the rules that applied.

It’s not a fact that Obama is a Muslim, I’m sorry. But until Obama tells you he’s a Muslim, he’s not. Not that any of that matters anyway. I’d prefer him to be atheist or at least agnostic.

Dan,

You rode the short bus to school didn’t you?

Go back to my original post and you will discover what I wrote the first time.

Go back and read it slowly. I’ll wait.

***

Back with me now?

As you can see I made it really, really clear so that even an intellectually challenged dullard such as yourself could understand it.

In the eyes of Islam, Obama is what he is.

Obama’s obfuscation and constantly changing positions on this very simple, very personal issue has created the controversy that is still swirling about.

Again, if you care to fact check me and attempt to prove me wrong on anything I posted, feel free to do so.

The facts are very clear.

Believing that civil disobedience can sometimes be a good thing doesn’t make me a non-conservative.

Well now, that all depends on what civil laws you are choosing to disobey in the attempt to throw them out. As a m’cycle rider, I have plenty of civil disobedience in my personal history, thank you.

However “civil disobedience” for invasion of privacy? Wrongo, chucko.

So perhaps you may want to rethink your position before I get you in my cyber sights again. Like maybe you really don’t believe that it was justified to invade someone’s privacy, and equate that with civil disobedience.

But if you persist that’s your actual believes, that *does* most certainly make you a non-conservative. And even libertarians would put the big no no on that. So what’s left? Liberal progressive who have a dual standard for nanny laws? Or perhaps more like a “big brother is watching” kind of guy… as long as Big Bro’s not watching you, that is.

Which one is it Dan? Or did you just not think about this from all angles before speaking?

And your apology for the tangent is accepted. Thank you. Also, I also believe that both campaigns run ads filled with half truths, or not enough truths.

However this year, the DNC and their non-profits and cyber grass roots are genuinely running “the sleaziest campaign” in history…. hands down. From trying to set back women’s rights a century, to assailing her daughter and the birth circumstance of her down baby. The DNC has sunken to lows even I couldn’t imagine they’d do.

Dan missed the part where Hussein O admitted his Muslem faith on national TV and only alibi’d himself after a ‘Hussein O’ supporter, playing newsman, pointed out his statement. He is Muslem and he is Islamic. Get used to the fact about 5 seconds before some ‘peace loving’ Islamist chops off your head. If his lies of the past few months (hundreds of outright lies) haven’t shown you where he stands and what a slime ball he is there is no hope for you. Start getting on your knees a dozen times a day and kissing the a** of the child rapist they call their god.

In the eyes of Islam, Obama is what he is.

The facts are very clear.

Ahhh, here comes the famous Republican ad hominem style of illogical statements. Insult me in an effort to disprove what I said.

Here’s the facts:

I said there was a spreading of lies at a grass roots level. I mentioned a specific one when asked. You then tried to tell me that a religion believed Obama to be a Muslim because he once was a Muslim (note to Republicans: belief != fact).

Ok, so at this point, you’ve done nothing to prove to me that Obama is actively a Muslim. You’ve only said that the Muslim religion still identifies him as a Muslim. Who the cares? That doesn’t make Obama a Muslim, no matter what they BELIEVE. The only way Obama can identify himself as following a certain religion is if HE says so. If you believe otherwise, that’s your own belief. But it is definitely not fact and no rational person will agree with you.

My set of beliefs indicates that you’re a diabetes retard. Is the “fact” that my belief system identifies you as a diabetes retard really important to how you really are or how you identify yourself? It’s not.

Ahhh, here comes the famous Republican ad hominem style of illogical statements. Insult me in an effort to disprove what I said.

I beg your pardon?

You’re really going to complain about someone insulting you after the feces you’ve squeezed out all over this thread since your arrival?

Really? You must be kidding me!

All of the facts line up to point in one direction.

Obama may or may not have had an internal change of heart. I made that point in #13 as well.

Neither of us know that one way or the other. That’s a matter that’s between Obama and God.

What we do know, at least I do, is what all of the provable facts point to.

Have you ever heard of Occam’s Razor?

Now that we’ve hashed this one out and you’ve failed miserably in attempting to refute the facts presented let’s move on to the next lie you contend is being spread about.

Your mistake is trying to pigeon hole me into a certain political organization.

I consider myself fiscally conservative. I’m also conservative when it comes to the amount of government we have. I don’t think my belief in civil disobedience makes me “less” conservative in those areas.

I beg your pardon?
You’re really going to complain about someone insulting you after the feces you’ve squeezed out all over this thread since your arrival?

Listen to me when I say this, listen very carefully.

IF YOU THINK YOU JUST WON AN ARGUMENT, YOU ARE FUCKING RETARDED.

I’m done with this zealot blog. You kids have fun. Maybe some day you’ll pull your head out of your ass. I’ll keep my posts to blogs that have a chance of a rational discussion. Sorry I interrupted your circle jerk, have a good day.

I’m done with this zealot blog.

That’s right Dan.

Run away like a seven year old girl.

Yep, you fit the pattern precisely.

IF YOU THINK YOU JUST WON AN ARGUMENT, YOU ARE FUCKING RETARDED.

I lost the debate because you say I lost? Where are your facts to support that?

That’s a classic example of a conclusory statement.

I’ll keep my posts to blogs that have a chance of a rational discussion.

Promise not to return?

We promise not to miss you.

Golllleeee! Isn’t it funny that I write a teensy weensy little post about angry in your face Dems and voila! One pops out of the woodwork.

Oh well. Come back sometime Dan when you think you can make a rational, positive contribution. We only gang up on people who behave like liberal fascist jumping beans.

Mike,

I’m kinda sorry to see him go.

I was really hoping that we could work our way down the list of “grass roots lies” that this non-Democrat Democrat hack was claiming he has.

In some ways I feel sorry for him.

He’s watching his Messiah suffer from electile dysfunction and there’s nothing he can do to help.

He did sort of flame out quickly hunh? Oh well, as I often say:

NEXT!

I am trying so hard to figure out whom you are, Dan. But, you don’t seem to know yourself who you really are. Let’s try to figure it out:

– You say you are not a republican.

– But then again you say: “I consider myself fiscally conservative. I’m also conservative when it comes to the amount of government we have”.

– You do not believe in God.

– You also pretend that you are not a Democrat.

– You do not see yourself as a liberal/progressive

– You approve Palin’s email hacking. You see non problem with that.

– You think the author of this article is so wrapped up in his own beliefs that he’ll never be able to post anything rational.

– Then you complain that YOU are being insulted. WOW!

– You do not believe in facts.

– You have no argument whatsoever.

– You argue about Obama’s religion, regardless of all his Muslim friends and Muslim countries supporting him. It doesn’t worry you one bit.

So tell me? Who the hell are you? Where do you stand? Not on the truth side, that’s for sure. Neither on the side of democraty and rights. So what his your motivation, and finally, what is your point?

And what do you have against McCain/Palin? What do you like so much about Obamarafat? I think you are a lost soul completely disconnected from reality. You do not seem to be able to understand the difference between right and left and good and evil. I sure do hope there is not too many Americans like you out there, because if so, USA is in real danger. Inside enemies are the worst enemies a country can have.

Obama is telling his supporters to “get in their faces” because that’s one of the few ways to fight the Republican lying distraction machine. Tell the GOP to quit spreading grass root lies and maybe their won’t be democrats “in your face”.

Do you not see the lies and dishonesty coming from the left as well? Do you not think that most journalists are in the tank, cheerleading for Obama? Maybe McCain should ask Republican voters to “get in their faces” as well?

The reason why I think this is a bit of a “big deal”, Dan, is that it totally undermines Obama’s facade as a “new kind of candidate” who will rise above divisive partisan politics and the “way things are done in Washington”. He’s essentially abandoned all pretense of running a clean, respectful campaign and has resorted to the kind of politics that he said he was above. He can no longer lay claim to taking the high road.

While he constantly claimed McCain was running a dirty campaign, in the same breath, he was doing the same thing, from day one, offering insults, distorting facts, perpetuating the 100 years myth even after he should have known better.

Really? I’ve never had a democrat in my face.

To elaborate upon Mike’s examples, it’s when Code Pink and IVAW crash the RNC and draw attention to themselves; it’s when protesters make public nuisances of themselves by lying in the streets, tying up traffic, getting arrested, getting belligerent with police, in a sense, forcing their politics upon others who just want to get about their business. It’s “getting in our faces” when you go up to the checkout counter to pay for your grocery, and the clerk assumes it’s alright to start bashing Bush. Conservatives might have pro-Bush and pro-troop bumperstickers; but it is the left, in general, who have anti-conservative, anti-Bush, anti-Republican bumperstickers, and hippie mobiles will sport them, en masse. I’ve even seen stickers plastered to the front-end of cars. T-shirts that read “Buck Fush”; conservatives getting shouted down from speaking at universities. I’ve had some stranger start shouting at me in disbelief, simply because I picked up a pro-Bush book to read the jacket cover (this was before the 2004 election), while at Barnes & Noble.

It’s when that Brit felt it was an appropriate forum at the MTV music awards to make derogatory comments about Palin, Bristol, and Bush. When other Hollywood celebs use the Oscars and Emmy’s as a platform to push their politics as well.

For the record, I don’t think Obama’s a Muslim, although I understand Aye Chihuahua’s original point. I think you might have ticked everyone off with your first comment, which kind of set the tone. Everything just went down hill from there.

Anyway, I think people should just calm down and quit turning into pitbulls upon the first slight.

Just my two cents.

A Chicago Democrat that believes in the 2nd Amendment??? NOW I’ve heard everything….

Really? I’ve never had a democrat in my face.

I’ve had an unhinged dem yelling in my face while at work on several occasions.

To be fair, I’ve had Ron Paul supporters do the same, only with slightly more rationality.

Thank God we have the Second Amendment… 🙂

Nuts, Meth users, crackheads, and crazy folks have one thing in common. All are susceptible to lead poisoning. 🙂

http://www.gpoaccess.gov/constitution/html/amdt2.html

Isn’t he also saying, ” If I don’t get elected, I want you to go into the streets and raise hell and do whatever to avenge the injustice done to me?”

Yeah, get in my face alright, but you gotta ask yourself, “Is this my lucky day?”

Obama is asking his followers, the young and the dumb, to get in people’s face and argue on his behalf.

For those lefties that wish to have tips on how to promote Barack Obama when you get in their faces:

Throw Obama away.
