Hate America First

Loading

Classic!  Want to see what life would be like with our resident traitors, the left, if they had been around during WWII?  Then check out Redstates version of the MoveOn WWII ad:

Hell, even during those days I think the only time the lefties supported the war effort was after Hitler invaded Russia.  They hated the United States as much as they do now, but nowadays they have billionaire financiers to put out their Hate America First propaganda.

Then we have the isolationists, ala Paul, who want to stick their heads in the sand and believe once this is done America will suddenly be loved throughout the world.

What a sad pathetic bunch, but they are made for each other.

UPDATE

Great comment left at Redstate:

What if FDR had told the Germans oh about 1935, it’s time for you to have regime change – this Adolf guy has got to go. And what if they hadn’t listened to FDR so FDR sent in American troops and changed their regime for them. And maybe some of the Germans didn’t like that "occupation" so they shot at Americans and killed some American troops with booby traps, and maybe 3,000, 4,000, or even 10,000 American troops would end up getting killed in that occupation of Germany in the 1930’s.

Now if FDR had done that, would he have done a good thing and saved millions of lives?

Great ad! That’s exactly what the hate America left of today was around in WW2.

And of course they were around in another form as you suggest.

Winston Churchill pointed out in his history of the 2nd World War how the Communists in both Britain and France worked to weaken and undermine any support for a strong deterrent to the Nazis. It was the same “no capitalist/imperialist war” crap we hear from Code Pink today.

And as soon as the Soviet Union was attacked, Churchill describes how the very same people who were demanding Britain stay out of it turned on a dime and demanded they go full bore to save their ideological masters.

“When You See a Rattlesnake Poised to Strike, You Do Not Wait Until He Has Struck Before You Crush Him”
-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt Fireside Chat to the Nation, September 11, 1941

In this speech, months before Japan attacked the US, FDR authorized military action against Germany.
