Here Come The Documents!

Dammit all to hell. I was at work today, which happened to be the first day after the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released some of the Saddam documents. This should be a HUGE story right? It will be except to the liberal MSM and the liberal blogs. Anything that exonerates Bush is quickly dismissed by the moonbats:

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has created a website where it will post documents captured in postwar Afghanistan and Iraq. The website is hosted by the Foreign Military Studies Office Joint Reserve Intelligence Center at Fort Leavenworth and will be updated continuously with new documents.

First translation provided by the Freepers:

The documents of pre-war Iraq were published this morning on the Pentagon website, I did a quick search and I found a very interesting document written in Arabic and not yet translated to English. I did the translation and I found the following:

This document is a letter written by a member of Saddam Intelligence apparatus (Al Mukabarat) on 9/15/2001 (shortly after 9/11/2001) where he addressed it to someone higher up and he wrote about a conversation between an Iraqi intelligence source and a Taliban Afghani Consul.

In the conversation the Afghani Consul spoke of a relationship between Iraq and Osama Bin Laden prior to 9/11/2001, and that the United States was aware of such a relationship and that there is a potential of US strikes against Iraq and Afghanistan if the destructive operations in the US (most probably he is referring to 9/11 attacks) were proven to be connected to Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban.

Below is a translation from Arabic to English of CMPC-2003-001488 document that was posted on Pentagon Website regarding the pre-war Iraq documents.

Text of the document in English translated from Arabic:

In the Name of God the Merciful

Presidency of the Republic
Intelligence Apparatus

To the respectful Mr. M.A.M

Subject: Information

Our source in Afghanistan No 11002 (for information about him see attachment 1) provided us with information that that Afghani Consul Ahmad Dahestani (for information about him see attachment 2) told him the following:

1. That Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban in Afghanistan are in contact with Iraq and it that previously a group from Taliban and Osama Bin Laden group visited Iraq.

2. That America has proof that the government of Iraq and Osama Bin Laden group have shown cooperation to hit target within America.

3. That in case it is proven the involvement of Osama Bin Laden group and the Taliban in these destructive operations it is possible that American will conduct strikes in Iraq and Afghanistan.

4. That the Afghani Consul heard about the subject of Iraq relation with Osama Bin Laden group during his stay in Iran.

5. In light of this we suggest to write to the Commission of the above information.

Please view? Yours? With regards

Wha wha wha what! Could it be? Was Saddam connected to Al-Qaeda? Are moonbats heads exploding everywhere?

I wish.

Of course this comes to no surprise to anyone with a little common sense, but will be completely ignored by the left. Take a look at the NYT’s, the Post, and the LAT’s websites at 1930hrs today. Not a word on the front page. (click picture to get a better look)

This is just the first day and a document has come out showing the cooperation between Iraq and Al-Qaeda…So far on the first day we have gathered that Al-Qaeda was in Iraq long before we invaded and they had been recruiting fighters to fight us in Afghanistan. That in itself would warrant our invasion.

The left is probably going crazy trying to discredit the documents, and they will more then likely continue to do so for a loooong time since it will blow their belief system to pieces, namely the Bush lied People died.

Hell, imagine what the next batch of documents will bring us?

Well thats all fine and dandy but it doesn’t mention anything about WMD’s. Of course al-queda was in bed with Iraq, doesn’t mean we knew anything about WMD’s. And that certainly doesn’t relieve Bush of the fact he lied to start a war. I’d rather he called it like it is, “hey, Iraq is aligning with al-queda, let’s invade them”. You seem to look for things to better justify Bush’s actions without addressing the fact he was flat out wrong and so was his administration.

What’s this “she” crap?

Was that Moonbat crack directed at me?? Uh… NEWSFLASH!!! Mr(s). LeatherPenguine: It was a satirical spin on what a typical Moonbat would say under the circumstances, and not my actual take or opinion on the recently released documents. Lighten up, dude. Like Carol said, “Have a Guiness”.

Yea hun those papers have more important things to report on like um..March Madness…sheesh!
