Yep. Tashfeen Malik was talking jihad on social media for years

Loading

they vetted Tashfeen Malik three times before allowing her to come to the United States with her “fiancee” and settle in San Bernardino. Unfortunately, as the New York Times was forced to report last night, they missed a few things, such as the fact that she’d apparently been going on social media for years and talking about how she was in favor of violent jihad and wanted to be a part of the movement.

Tashfeen Malik, who with her husband carried out the massacre in San Bernardino, Calif., passed three background checks by American immigration officials as she moved to the United States from Pakistan. None uncovered what Ms. Malik had made little effort to hide — that she talked openly on social media about her views on violent jihad.

She said she supported it. And she said she wanted to be a part of it.

American law enforcement officials said they recently discovered those old — and previously unreported — postings as they pieced together the lives of Ms. Malik and her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, trying to understand how they pulled off the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil since Sept. 11, 2001.

So how did that happen? They’re looking at a lot of people every year, so if there’s one needle in a haystack you may very well miss it I suppose. But that’s not the situation at all. The Department of Homeland Security told the Times that, immigration officials do not routinely review social media as part of their background checks. If that’s not bad enough, they followed up by saying that the department is still debating whether it is even appropriate to do so.

So we’re not yet at the point of asking whether we’re even capable of going through the social media posts of visitors looking to come to us from terrorist infested places like Pakistan. We’re still arguing about whether we even should? Our extraordinarily thorough and comprehensive vetting process doesn’t include checking Twitter to see if the girl was recently chatting with her friends about how cool it would be to blow up a football stadium. But at the very same time, you’re an Islamophobe if you don’t want the refugees settled in your community or if you think we should slow down the flow of new visas being issued to applicants from the most sketchy regions. Yeah… that makes a lot of sense.

Obama:
We MUST ban all assault weapons because federal background checks simply don’t work.

Obama:
Don’t worry about 100,000 Muslim refugees – they’re all getting federal background checks.

What more needs to be said?

Background check:

Are you a terrorist?

Nope.

Come on in!

They didn’t even check that the address she used on her application was real, this whole process needs to be halted and kept on hold til they get a dictionary and read the definition of background check. The visa system needs an entry and exit
with tracking seems 6000 students are “missing”. (did ET go Home?)

To hell with bringing more in; they need to be checking those they already let in.

The 15 terrorists of 911 came in on Visas those that reviewed them saw they were not completely filled out or could not be read at all. The application does ask:
“Do you seek to engage in terrorist activities while in the United States or have you ever engaged in terrorist activities?”

“Are you a member or representative of a terrorist organization?” (Applicants are asked to check a box for “yes” or “no.”)

“Have you ever or do you intend to provide financial assistance or other support to terrorists or terrorist organizations?”
And Mrs Jihad and the fun 15 lied on the application WTF
The actions of the Immigration dept border on criminal negligence. Something tells me it wont be fixed on Obamas watch.

The DHS would not allow scrutinization of her social media

There is no proof of what you claim. You did not see any posts from Tashfeen Malik. Its absurd to believe that Tashfeen and Syed did the shootings when there is no video from the Inland Regional Center showing any shooters let alone a 90 lb 5 ft tall one. Have you seen video of Enrique Marquez actually admitting his own involvement let alone Syed Farook’s? NO. This is not journalism, you have done no thinking or investigation. Your a Parrot.

@Michael E. Ott: So nobody got killed? oh good the families will be sooo relieved.
The New York Times reports U.S. law enforcement officials discovered old and previously unreported postings as they investigated Malik and her husband Syed Rizwan Farook. Immigration officials don’t usually check social media posts as part of their background checks, according to the newspaper.
Nothing you post, or email ect is ever really gone it is out there forever.
Even you can Post/parrot an article here for discussion.

@Michael E. Ott: ia ABC News:

Fearing a civil liberties backlash and “bad public relations” for the Obama administration, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson refused in early 2014 to end a secret U.S. policy that prohibited immigration officials from reviewing the social media messages of all foreign citizens applying for U.S. visas, a former senior department official said.
[…]
The revelation comes as members of Congress question why U.S. officials failed to review the social media posts of San Bernardino terrorist Tashfeen Malik. She received a U.S. visa in May 2014, despite what the FBI said were extensive social media messages about jihad and martyrdom.

Unreal.

Wow!
Even the ”family lawyers,” quit touting that ”90-pound girl-couldn’t even lift that great big gun” after finding out that guns like that only weigh 5.5 to 7.5 pounds each!
Poor thing!
She couldn’t have bought that bag of potatoes, either!

@Nanny G: She was working out, lifting bags of gun powder and pipes. I would like Otts theory as to who blasted the christmas party up.

@kitt: Kitt, This event is a psy op. ITs not really worth talking to someone like you that believes 15 terrorist did 911 and that building 7 just fell down. You live in a simple world. So you spout a lot of official views, that’s easy, and does not take much effort. But since your basic assumptions are all wrong you can’t see what’s really happening. You willingly give up you freedom, privacy and self responsibility and cheer on the killing and warring. Good for you. Maybe this will help you. There were several paragraphs appended to the original NY Times article early today, December 18th. As it turns out, there were no public comments suggestive of terrorist support made on social media.

This later information has already appeared elsewhere. It’s not the first time the NY Times has had to revise a story because they ran too quickly with reports from unreliable sources. It’s also not the first time that they’ve been slow to acknowledge their error, and reluctant to admit how it was made: through journalistic negligence.

Editors’ Note: December 18, 2015

The original version of this article, based on accounts from law enforcement officials, reported that Tashfeen Malik had “talked openly on social media” about her support for violent jihad.

On Wednesday, however, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said that online communications about jihad by Ms. Malik and her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, involved “direct, private messages.” His remarks indicated that the comments about jihad were not made in widely accessible social media posts.

Law enforcement officials subsequently told The Times that Ms. Malik communicated with her husband in emails and private messages, and on a dating site. Ms. Malik’s comments to Mr. Farook about violent jihad were made on a messaging platform, officials said. Neither Mr. Comey nor other officials identified the specific platforms that were used. (This article and headline have been revised to reflect the new information.)

Hey guys what did I miss?

@kitt: It is engineering. Any way Kitt if there really were shooting at the Inland Regional Center, then I believe paid mercenaries did the shooting. Without the security videos from the center its hard to say. Did you ssee footage of Tashfeen at the center? Kind of like the Boston Bombing where Craft International guys put down their black backpacks and then framed the tsarnaev brothers. At San Bernardino you have 3 patsies, Syed, Tashfeen and Enrique. Hey tell me what have you seen Enrique Marquez say? And tell me if you saw how the body got from the Black SUV to the other curb. What do you know KITT?

I know the video on NWO the guy trying to blow the whistle is dead, if digging into these theories and exposing these people gets a person killed it may not be a great idea. I really like listening to C2C AM. the proof if you can get your hands on it will only get you dead. With age comes a tiny bit of wisdom, the more I see the less I know. I have heard the biggest obstacle to a One world government is America, seems the precious gift of freedom that so many have fought and died for, isn’t important to many of the younger generation, they will get to it as soon as their video game is over. My belief in a theory isn’t going to stop the coming horror. But hint hoarding gold wont help, WTSHTF the best precious metal will be lead and plenty of it. And maybe a good recipe for rat.

@kitt: Kitt wake up. 911 was done by criminal elements in the US government. These criminals blew up part of the Pentagon to hide missing trillions. The Criminals used controlled demolition to take down building & because of the records that were in it. Silverstein made billions on the demolition of the twin towers that were designed to withstand the impact of fully fuel Boeing jets and remain standing. That’s engineering. coward. I know the video on NWO the guy trying to blow the whistle is dead, if digging into these theories and exposing these people gets a person killed it may not be a great idea.
