Why progressives and media ignore twelve dead, at least 66 injured in Chicago

“Gun violence must stop,” they say.

“White supremacy is rampant,” they say.

“We need gun control now,” they say.

Reactions to this weekends two mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, plus one last week in Gilroy, are sucking all the air out of the newsrooms as three young Caucasian males almost certainly perpetrated three heinous acts. At least one was the result of frustration over border security as the alleged El Paso shooter posted a racist manifesto on 8Chan before committing his crime. The Gilroy shooter’s ideology remains unclear. The Dayton shooter appears to be an Antifa- and Satan-loving Democrat.

But it’s all being labeled as white supremacy.

Meanwhile, crickets are coming from the media following a bloody weekend in Chicago in which somewhere between 50-70 people were shot and at least 12 have been killed as a result of gun violence. I say “50-70” because there were so many instances and the reports are so ambiguous, it’s hard to get an accurate tally.

“The individuals are carrying illegal guns to settle disputes and to prey on rivals because there are no consequences for carrying guns in the city of Chicago,” Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said.

What’s the difference between Chicago’s shootings and the shootings in the other three cities? It’s all about narrative. The three non-Chicago mass shootings can be loosely attached to white supremacy even though only one seems to have racism as a true motive. The three non-Chicago mass shootings were perpetrated with scary “military-style weapons.” Most importantly, the three non-Chicago mass shootings are in areas that haven’t fallen victim to the same level of obtuse gun control they have in Chicago, though one can argue the gun laws in California make the Gilroy shooting an example that goes against the leftist narrative as well.

But at the end of the day, the real racism of the left and the media shines through as they willfully pretend Chicago’s violence isn’t as important to talk about as the other three incidents. After all, the victims and the shooters were almost entirely African-America. The left’s and the media’s narrative is much more important to them than the lives of African-Americans who should already be perfectly safe in gun-control utopias like Chicago.

I work in a hospital which deals with most of the trauma events in Montgomery, AL. Been here around 15 years. The interesting observation is that in 15 years while I see gunshot victims close to every day (it varies, but one can count on at least 3-4 every weekend day and one or so every other day), I have only seen 3 people shot who happen to be white. Two were a couple of old men who shot each other with shotguns in an argument over ownership of a house, and one lady who was shot during a bank robbery. Her assailant was a black man.

This is not a judgement about race. Not a comment about white versus black. This is a simple statement of fact. And it is damn sad. Black folks are shooting and often killing each other.

Why?

But at the end of the day, the real racism of the left and the media shines through as they willfully pretend Chicago’s violence isn’t as important to talk about as the other three incidents. After all, the victims and the shooters were almost entirely African-America.

The problem there the left has created is the dilemma of in order to protect black lives, they have to arrest black criminals. Their stupid, idiotic gun bans do nothing to impede the impulses of those living in poverty who have to have superior fire power to survive against their opponents. The left’s ideology has maintained poverty in these cities, creating this environment of turf battles, drug trade and crime and the instant they move to take out the criminal problem, the victim culture they have created shames law enforcement and the judiciary into backing off. It’s what happens when you apply laws and rules based on skin color.

Meme showing a hooded, masked male pointing a gun at the camera reads:

I am a criminal.
I don’t buy guns at stores.
I don’t care about your stupid gun laws.
Background checks won’t stop me.
Keep focusing on the good people.
THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT I WANT.

recall that the mayor of chi. is a black gay liberal female, so does on ever think that the news of her poor performance, similar to cummings in Baltimore will be reported. the idiot, former mayor, rahm emanuel has a lot to do with the current status of chi. recall that a judge allowed his name on the ballet, demort judge, after they had found an empty box with his name on it in his vacated-sold house.

Are we supposed to ignore the growing danger of violent white nationalists—who are evidence of nothing less than a form of metastasizing domestic terrorism—just because random gun violence is also occurring elsewhere?

Both are serious issues, but only one is growing around an un-American racist ideology, which is organizing and being active promoted. We are less alert to the danger because it can often look and sound so much like ourselves. It can often escape notice while being right in front of our faces.

There is, in fact, a borderline populace rhetoric that can be argued to be marginally acceptable, while giving these people both encouragement and cover. It comes of exploiting the resentments, angers, and prejudices that are present to some degree in most of us, but are raging fires in those prone to violent extremism.

So there’s my criticism of Trump, on that score. He’s not paying enough attention to the potentially dangerous side effects of his crowd manipulation. I’m not sure he cares, unless it negatively impacts his ratings. As evidence I submit Teleprompter Trump’s red flag law comments. I doubt such laws are his own idea. I suspect someone made a political calculation and convinced him he needed to look at a camera and read the words.

We’ll see which Trump appears at his next stadium rally. If it’s the Trump speaking here, I might reappraise my attitude about him.

@Greg: Your entire premise is fake, made up out of whole cloth. Its a democrat ploy to demonize those that reject the socialist agenda. So much like when the Nazis demonized the jewish population, it is you who do not recognize what is un-American, you who ignore the Antifa movement that is truly violent. Mentally ill we will have with us always, the pills they push on children to alter behavior. Your premise is that 2 highly mentally disturbed youngsters (under 25) each having differing political ideologies represent a group of people, that premise is false.
In H.S. the Dayton killer was feared he had a kill or rape list, was reported and evaluated (a known wolf).

@Greg: We’ve been warning: there WILL be a reaction to the violence the left has been promoting and employing. Perhaps we are seeing the first aspects of it.

If anyone believes the El Paso shooter (the Dayton shooter is the typical left wing nut job) went on his rampage because of all the attention illegal immigration is getting now, then they must realize that if the Democrats had not been ENCOURAGING as much illegal immigration as is possible, denying any border crisis exists and blocking any and all attempts to deal with that crisis, this shooting would never have happened. Even a white supremacist is going to need a provocation to go off on a shooting spree.

Just as there have always been racists, there have always been white supremacists and the left has been provoking them into action. For instance, the internet was carrying a video of Buzz Aldrin punching some loudmouth in the face. The loudmouth was calling Aldrin a liar and a fraud. Yeah, it was wrong for Aldrin to resort to violence, but had the loudmouth not provoked it, there woudl have been no punch.

Again, if the left actually wants civility, they should tone it down. ANNOUNCE they are toning it down and condemn those who won’t. Provide an example… a GOOD one for a change. For, by all indications, we ARE reaching the flash point.

Personally, I think this is exactly what the left wants.

@kitt, #6:

Your entire premise is fake, made up out of whole cloth.

I believe there’s plenty of evidence that the white nationalist movement is entirely real, organized, and growing, both here and overseas. Have a look at the Stormfront forum and website. It presently has over 300,000 registered users. What you see there is only a public face of movement. It’s a mask covering even more extreme views. This is nothing new, either. The ideology has very deep roots.

We’ve been warning: there WILL be a reaction to the violence the left has been promoting and employing. Perhaps we are seeing the first aspects of it.

That this is “a reaction to the violence of the left” is a standard propaganda meme from the rising days of Adolph Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

@Greg:

I believe there’s plenty of evidence that the white nationalist movement is entirely real, organized, and growing, both here and overseas.

Again fake there is a Nationalist movement growing and in Europe, its called backlash to failed and dangerous NWO policies. Nationalist doesnt have color or religious affiliation, that was totally a liberal demonizing and attempt on division.
One doesnt have to go to Stormfront, there is Brexit and the French protests the elections in Europe are very telling.
Asking for orderly legal immigration isnt racist or violent. Requesting our elected officials adhere to the laws they passed isnt violent nor is it extremist. We cannot control how the MSM twists the narrative tries to gin up fear in their shrinking audience.
Brother honestly things are not as they are painting them, yes there are those that hate based on fear, we cannot control who the vote for, as much as a movie star is not in control who would stalk them. When have you seen a conservative gathering if left alone by Antifa freaks become violent, or even leave a mess?
Its all about the NWO losing power, they have not delivered the promises they made, and the tax slaves are no longer believing their lies and tire of the theft.
I dont hate you because you still think they are good people, I simply disagree with you.
This is Nationalism:

@Greg:

Are we supposed to ignore the growing danger of violent white nationalists—who are evidence of nothing less than a form of metastasizing domestic terrorism—just because random gun violence is also occurring elsewhere?

Yes. Most “white nationalism” is either manufactured or exaggerated to produce a false crisis allowing the Dems/Left to label any enemy they want as racist and white nationalist.

This “threat” is neither growing nor a significant threat. It’s on the same level as violent communists or other violent organizations. Good to monitor them, but not use them as a reason for me to vote for your pathetic party and their growing list of hoaxes only used for fearmongering and gaining irrational, misinformed votes.

Next.

That this is “a reaction to the violence of the left” is a standard propaganda meme from the rising days of Adolph Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

Not even close. The Left is using Nazi Fascism to promote a new form of Nazi fascism flowing from them and their followers.

Are we supposed to ignore the growing danger of violent liberals and leftists—who are evidence of nothing less than a form of metastasizing domestic terrorism—just because random gun violence is also occurring elsewhere?

Given the numbers of leftist violence far outstrips white nationalists (who are neither conservative, republican, or right-wing), I think not.

@kitt: You are absolutely correct about this, Kitt.

Way back when the gathering at Charlottesville was going to happen groups were forming around the idea of keeping historic statues.
Some FBI plants took the roles of heads of a few supposedly white supremacist organizations (that didn’t even exist long before the Charlottesville demonstrations.)
Of the three supposedly white supremacist leaders, two turned out to be FBI plants.
These was no vetting done of these men.
They were accepted by a small rabble of white separatists who bothered to show up, never having seen them before.
The org these men (FBI men) headed was phony, even their props and flags were right out of the package, crisp fold marks on their flags and uniforms.
Their main purpose was to conflate the so-called “alt-right,” with racists as “white supremacists.”

The entire premise that these men headed and trained a large group is bogus.
There were no more than those who bothered to show up in Charlottesville and march with the new tiki torches behind these men.

As I’ve said before, the Dem idea of who are white supremacists differs from the Trump’s view.
Dems think all whites who don’t support their agenda are white supremacists.
We know they do the same with blacks who think for themselves (Uncle Toms),
gays who think for themselves (self-hating gays), women who think for themselves (can’t be feminists), Hispanics who think for themselves (not really Hispanics) and so on.

We should not and must not allow Dem,Leftists to frame the debate.
That’s their only chance of winning it.
And they are willing to tar everyone who is to the right of Stalin as one bad thing after another if we allow it.

@Nan G: Thnx for the thumbs up. We all need to roll up our sleeves and solve problems waiting for the likes of Elijah Cummings or any other politician is just wasting time.
BTW love that you are here on this site.

@Greg:

That this is “a reaction to the violence of the left” is a standard propaganda meme from the rising days of Adolph Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

Perhaps the left should not have made political violence their normal practice, as Hitler and Mussolini did. Then you might have some credibility left.

This is an example of the left wing media trying to be “civil” and “calm fears”.

@Nathan Blue, #11:

Yes. Most “white nationalism” is either manufactured or exaggerated to produce a false crisis allowing the Dems/Left to label any enemy they want as racist and white nationalist.

Ah. Then I guess Donald Trump is telling us that we must condemn and unite against non-existent things, and that on Stormfront it’s only 300,000 totally imaginary registered users that are openly networking. (Donald’s it pains me to say this delivery falls a bit short of convincing.)

Who do you think these people are?

@Greg:

Who do you think these people are?

Well I guess there were tons of mosquitos and these fine volunteers took their own private patio accessories filled with citronella oil out to the park to clear the pests out.
Nan has told us time and again about the stalkers.
Who do you think these people are?

@Greg:

Who do you think these people are?

Do you happen to recall exactly WHEN the violence erupted? In case your memory fails you, it was when leftist groups ATTACKED them.

But, it’s the white supremacists we should worry about… right?

And this bit of exceptionally pathetic spin, from FOX News:

Twitter feed, suspected of being Dayton, Ohio, shooter’s, points to possible leftist leanings

“The account @iamthespookster didn’t bear the killer’s’ name, but did show selfies that resembled known photos of him.”

Seriously? They’ve plumbed the depths of the well of gullibility, and have yet to find the bottom…

@kitt: @Deplorable Me:

Don’t fall for Greggie Goebbels’ click bait.

@Greg:

And from your beloved CNN:

“In addition, a Twitter account that appears to belong to Betts retweeted extreme left-wing and anti-police posts, as well as tweets supporting Antifa, or anti-fascist, protesters.

The most recent tweet on the @iamthespookster account was on August 3, the day of the shooting, when he retweeted a post saying, “Millenials have a message for the Joe Biden generation: hurry up and die.”

The user’s Twitter bio reads: “he/him / anime fan / metalhead / leftist / I’m going to hell and I’m not coming back.” One tweet used the hashtag #HailSatan”

So when are you going to slam your beloved CNN because “They’ve plumbed the depths of the well of gullibility, and have yet to find the bottom…”

What a pathetic loser you are, Greggie Goebbels.

@Greg: Are you a member of Flopping Aces, Greg?
Do you walk in lockstep with everything they post?
Didn’t think so.
Checking out original sources requires going to those sources, including the once easily accessed site, Stormfront.
I accessed Stormfront and confronted them after Charlottesville with their putting two FBI plants into their leadership positions without even the slightest vetting.
(Even a google search on each name showed they had vast records but no jail time, as they were both confidential informants as well as undercover instigators for the FBI.)
The old leader of Stormfront thanked me for the research BUT that doesn’r mean I joined his group.
Far from it.
I had been open with Stormfront about my Jewish bloodline.
They wouldn’t have allowed me to join even if I had wanted to. (Which I didn’t.)
How many others of their 300,000 are simply registering to respond to a story they posted and NOT members?

Think back to Daily Kos.
Markos used to set up a computer simply to click on his site’s stories all day & night just to look popular.
Who knows if Stormfront does that.
Wouldn’t surprise me.

A call from them to concentrate in Charlottesville led to only a couple dozen showing up.
I bet that’s all of them.

@Greg: His Twitter feeds DO show he was a left wing wacko (redundant, I know). So?

While the left wing media takes the El Paso “manifesto” and tries to use it to make the shooter Trump’s son, some “journalists” actually COMPLAINED about the revelations about the Dayton idiot’s political beliefs. The left is only upset they can’t blame a connection to Trump for THIS one as well.

The decrepit nature of the liberal mind cannot always be suppressed, Greg. It’s open knowledge.

@Greg:

Who do you think these people are?

They are a small minority of people that are useful, nay, vital to you and your party’s fearmongering.

Leftists committing violence and harassment far far outnumber any others. The videos, police reports, and “registered users” make that very clear. Not even an argument.

The whole “White Supremacy” is stale and cliche myth that comes out whenever a Republican wins. The Democratic party has to make this look like it’s the sixties. To admit non-whites are more free and more wealthy than ever would destroy their party.

Witness the death throes of this madness. Looking forward to people like Tusli Gabbard to rebuild the Dem party into something I can trust again. The Left is now more white than the Republican party, and they know it.

By the way, I support everyone’s right to believe and say what they want. That includes the vile, the ignorant, and the insane.

There will always be antifa, communists who want to bomb people, etc.

White supremacy is a false crisis being exploited by the Left for purely political reasons. It’s dangerous. Labeling people as “one of them”.

Sounds like fascism to me.

Because it is.

@Greg:

I doubt such laws are his own idea. I suspect someone made a political calculation and convinced him he needed to look at a camera and read the words.

I’ve been waiting SOOOO long for someone to sum up Obama’s Presidency in a concise statement like this.

Thank you.

The reason Trump is winning so big is because he finds and the supports the best ideas from the most competent people.
