Speaking at a Ford Motor Co. plant in Missouri Friday, President Obama accused congressional Republicans of “trying to mess with me” by derailing basic government operations.
The sharply-personal remarks–made during a speech in which the president outlined his economic vision–came just hours after the House passed a continuing resolution on a largely party-line vote that would keep the government running while simultaneously defunding the Affordable Care Act. Because the Senate is expected to strip out the defunding plan when it considers the measure, the House action raises the prospect of a possible government shutdown at the end of the month.
“Unfortunately right now the debate is going on in Congress is not meeting the test of helping middle class families,” Obama said. “They’re not focused on you. They’re focused on politics. They’re focused on trying to mess with me. They’re not focused on you.”
What a narcissist! His big ego always has to make it personal. No, It’s not all about you Mr. Obama, its about poorly a planned, purely partisan train wreak legislation, which was steamrolled through Congress, (without following the rules for taxation bills,) without allowing any input from theopposing party, without allowing the public the promised three days of review, and without allowing Congress to read the bill before voting.
Except that the American people did not want Obamacare, and the tide has turned against it even amongst the base of the party that shoved it down America’s throat.
President Obama is a statesman and a diplomat. His line:

Surprised it took her this long to pick up on Obama’s blatant narcissism.

Scary fact is, we have a CHILD in the White House , calling the shots.
When the bill returns to the House it will go to a conference committee of Senate and House members to work out the difference Republicans must insist that (a) all exemptions from the coverage of the act, including House and Senate members and staff, favored donors, and other cronies be scrapped.
And (b) given the huge amounts of fraud already rampant within the Medicare, Medicaid, and food stamp entitlement programs, no subsidies will be given out absent proof of identity and income verification.
With those two demands we would have all the proof we’d need that Democrats only want ObamaCare as a slush fund for cronies.
Fact is Democrats are so committed to increase fraud and favoritism to their supporters and donors that THEY’D shut down the government to keep that graft and privilege alive.
