Yet another key detail of the shameless Covington Catholic smear job has been clarified.
The Washington Post issued a correction to their coverage of the story.

That correction reads:
Correction: Earlier versions of this story incorrectly said that Native American activist Nathan Phillips fought in the Vietnam War. Phillips served in the U.S. Marines from 1972 to 1976 but was never deployed to Vietnam.
In an interview with CNN, Phillips claimed he was a Vietnam Vet:

According to Cincinatti.com, Phillips refused an offer by a restaurateur to sit down with Covington Catholic High School students to “break bread and make amends.”
Nathan Phillips has turned down Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby’s invitation to “break bread and make amends” with Covington Catholic High School students.
On Monday, Ruby offered to fly Phillips first class to have dinner with the CovCath students at one of his high-end restaurants.
But after a little thought and consideration, Phillips reconsidered and is willing to stretch his 15 minutes of shame by offering to lecture Covington Catholic High School students on racism and cultural appropriation. Cincy ctd:

My advice to Covington: NO. Absolutely not. The video proof shows those kids did nothing wrong. They don’t need to give Phillips the opportunity to look like a credible human being and they don’t deserve to be subjected to sanctimonious preaching for something they did not do by the person who caused the incident and lied about it. That is about as wrong as wrong can get.
The only part Phillips needs to play is this; he needs to go on all the liberal propaganda outlets that have been spreading his lies and publicly state he was the aggressor and lied about the part the kids played. He should plead with liberals to stop their persecution for the things HE did. THEN he should go before the Covington student body and beg their forgiveness for bringing such negative attention and crisis to their school.

The Washington Post reported what Phillips said in the past. When this was discovered not to be true, they acknowledged this information and publicly corrected their report. When was the last time any right-leaning media outlet publicly acknowledged being wrong? Did Fox News ever retract any of the bullshit stories they reported about Benghazi?
Phillips’ lies are pretty much irrelevant. He’s a nobody. When have you ever once acknowledged that Donald Trump lies constantly? A lying, untrustworthy president can become a matter of grave national consequence.

The consequences for the students could be pretty grave; perhaps leading TO the grave. Phillip’s lies (and promotion by people like YOURSELF) has led to death threats and threats of doxxing young kids. But, hey, they wore MAGA hats, so f**k them, right? If any of them get hurt or killed, well, they had it coming, didn’t they? Can’t acknowledge that Trump “lies constantly” because he doesn’t. The LEFT lies.
