That’s it. That’s what all the hysteria is about: A president talked to a foreign leader about a problem/shared interest. Like all presidents do.

But Trump isn’t a president in the eyes of the left and the NeverTrump rump (but I repeat myself), so things other presidents are allowed to do without question are impeachable offenses if he does them.

It’s “sickening” to ask about the origins of the Russia Hoax endlessly pushed by NeverTrump fey urban liberals, says a NeverTrump fey urban liberal:

One analyst says this of the NeverTrump rump:

Russia hoax made them look stupid.

Ukraine hoax exposes them as complicit.

Meanwhile, the “whistleblower complaint” the left and NeverTrump rump (but I repeat myself) have been saying is where the real action is will be a dud as well:

I thought preventing foreign interference in our elections was something Democrats were pretty emphatic about (well, except when Obama shuts down the efforts to combat it). I guess it’s only when the interference is not supporting THEM they worry about it. At any rate, Democrats are despicable liars that cannot be trusted to tell the truth about anything.

The President: Congratulations on a great victory. We all watched from the United States and you did a terrific job. The way you came from behind, somebody who wasn’t given much of a chance, and you ended up winning easily. It’s a fantastic achievement. Congratulations.

President Zelenskyy: You are absolutely right Mr. President. We did win big and we worked hard for this. We worked a lot but I would like to confess to you that I had an opportunity to learn from you. We used quite a few of your skills and knowledge and were able to use it as an example for our elections and yes it is true that these were unique elections. We were in a unique situation that we were able to achieve a unique success. I’m able to tell you the following; the first time you called me to congratulate me when I won my presidential election, and the second time you are now calling me when my party won the parliamentary election. I think I should run more often so you can call me more often and we can talk over the phone more often.

What a wonderful bonding moment.

Uh, you do realize the transcript is far from nothing, right?

You should also carefully read the CAUTION that has been inserted into the middle of Zelensky’s first comment. This is a White House reconstruction of the conversation, not the transcript of a recorded conversation.

@Greg: Oh, we fully realize the transcript is far from nothing. It is supremely significant. It proves that, once again, Democrats lie. They lie on a regular basis as a matter of habit. They lie because they see few options to get their far left agenda in place. They’ve been installing deep state useful idiots for years and were almost there… until they overreached and tried to pawn of the most despicable, lying, corrupt, incompetent criminal they could have dredged up as their Presidential candidate.

Now, Trump is not only restoring the nation to a healthy, strong honorable condition Obama worked so hard to weaken but he is wrecking the deep state. He may not orchestrate these amazing victories, but every time he senses the Democrats sprinting out to the end of their rotten limb, he manages to get them to fully expose themselves before the limb is sawed off under them. Then their abject hatred-driven agenda to destroy President for the single, solitary “crime” of winning against Hillary.

Hillary was YOUR fault, not Trump’s. Now, Ukraine is going to provide whatever evidence exists of Obama and Hillary enlisting Ukraine in providing political dirt to use against Trump. They were already using dirt provided by Russians to a British spy as an excuse to investigate and spy on Trump. Ukraine is also going to complete the investigation Biden held $1.2 billion from Ukraine until they killed it and shielded his little boy from scrutiny. It is simply an unfortunate coincidence that Biden happens to be the front-running Democrat candidate; perhaps they should vett their candidates, right? Isn’t that what you always complained about Trump? Maybe they should have ASKED Biden about his and his son’s business dealings in China and Ukraine; then they wouldn’t HAVE a candidate being investigated.

Might I remind you that Democrats have been investigating Trump from the moment he showed an interest in running for President. NOW you don’t think it’s PROPER? You’ve already gotten one great, big, fat pass on one candidate; the free pass has expired.

I hope in the future you wear safety glasses whenever future “bombshells” come forth; you could lose an eye when they, predictably, blow up in your naive, impressionable, easily led face. You could lose an eye… not that you use them to see the TRUTH.

@Deplorable Me, #3:

Did you read the transcript? Here’s a much better copy, with relevant passages highlighted. Trump is reminding Zelensky of the many things the United States has done for and provided to Ukraine, noting that this hasn’t necessarily been reciprocated. And then with the next breath Trump asks him to provide dirt on Joe Biden and his son. “Whatever you can do, it’s very important that you do it if that’s possible.”

What is Trump suggesting about U.S. Ambassador Yovanovitch, with whom Zelensky has a problem?

Well, she’s going to go through some things. I will have Mr. Giuliani give you a call and I am also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom of it. I’m sure you will figure it out…

Yeah, read between the lines, Zel. You know what I’m saying here.

The entire conversation smells like week old fish. And that’s after it was packaged for public presentation by the White House.

As a side note…

September 25, 2019 – White House mistakenly sends Trump-Ukraine talking points to Democrats

Uh, thanks guys. Please feel free to keep us on your mailing list.

@Greg:

So you are under the impression that the phone conversations between the President and a foreign power are all recorded?

Great! Now, let’s release ALL the recordings of Obama and or Biden, and all foreign powers like the ones in Ukraine and the one he told to inform Putin he (Obama) would be more “flexible” after he was reelected. ALL OF THEM.

Then, let’s expose all the dirty dealings of he Obama administration. Maybe we could finally get ALL the documents on “Fast and Furious” and finally be able to tell Brian Terry’s mom why an illegal was allowed a F & F gun. Or maybe we will finally get the missing Benghazi transcripts, ya think?

@Greg:

Your Democrat handlers are now saying no quid pro quo was necessary for the President to have broken the law. Since Biden DID offer a quid pro quo, does that mean the Dems are definitely going to have hearings on arresting Joe Biden and prosecuting him for breaking the law?

@Greg: Did you happen to notice what he was asking the President to look into? Interference in our elections. I thought that was important to liberals? You damn sure PRETENDED like it did, but like all things, it only matters when it is politically beneficial.

Exposing the real interference is important to hold those involved accountable and prevent future interference. YOU only worry about Democrats being exposed; that why you only want US propaganda outlets reporting on it. No, here we will get an official inquiry.

You HAVE to get way down in between the lines to imagine anything harmful to Trump. However, Biden did not leave ANY ambiguity. He was pretty jocular about using HIS authority to protect his son to withhold $1.2 billion in loan guarantees. He laughed how the “son of a bitch” folded under his extortion. Ha, ha… right? Neither did Menendez, Durbin and Leahy mince words or put anything “between the lines”. There’s was “feed us dirt we can use against Trump, or else.”

Sorry, Greg. Maybe you should stop jumping on all these band wagons; they seem to break down with frequency. It only took the collapse of the “golden showers” bombshell to teach me how the left operates and to wait until the FACTS come out before believing ANY of the fiction coming from the Democrat/media liberal cabal. They ALL lie first, lie next and cover up their lies with lies.

September 25, 2019 – White House mistakenly sends Trump-Ukraine talking points to Democrats

They are just trying to see if Democrats would use facts if someone gave them to them. I guess not.

@retire05: We don’t HAVE to release the secret conversation of Obama promising to do whatever Putin tells him to do after his ignorant lemming followers reelect him; we have a TAPE of that!

Let’s see if Hillary promised to sell US uranium to a Russian front company… OH! That’s right… she was allowed to delete THOSE emails and Comey allowed her and her gang to destroy all the evidence. Because… you know. Honesty.

@Greg: Seriously a link to WAPO, you must be kidding. I wont subscribe nor take my computer out of private mode for that propaganda site.
1 The president knew the phone call was “populated”, at least 2 intelligence agents were transcribing the call, afterwards they compare to check accuracy.
I know your media does not advise you how things are done.
We knew the notes from the call released with the permission of the Ukrainian President when released would be interpreted in the worst possible light by the propagandist conspiracy theorist of the Democrat media.
Will Plugs Biden release his phone call transcripts with China and the Ukraine?
Im sure the Republican propagandists would find much more in them than this fart in a high wind call.
BTW I linked to the transcript this morning so we all most likely have read it. We saw page 3 that sent the whistle blower into his fit, Something about Crowdstrike and server was mentioned.
We know what has the co-conspirators thong in a knot.

“Well, she’s going to go through some things. I will have Mr. Giuliani give you a call and I am also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom of it. I’m sure you will figure it out…”

I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody…

@Greg: Again its connected to the server not Biden. Barr is not investigating Bidens dirty political dealings, he is investigating the origins of FISA warrants and Russian Democrat conspiracies that leads to spying on a candidate for President.
Paying a former Brittish Spy to collude with Russians for dirt.
I guess it would depend on who Trump shot. 😉

@Greg: That was after the Ukrainian President asked to meet with Giuliani. Kind of an important detail.

@kitt: It’s all going to lead to Biden, Obama, Hillary, Brennan, Comey and McCabe. It’s going to bust the whole nasty plot wide open. That’s why Democrats are so damned desperate now; people are about to find, once again, that Trump was right and Democrats were not only lying but involved in a plot to HELP a foreign governments interfere in a US election.

@Deplorable Me: Dont we need to know how a person is privy to a classified call out of the WhiteHouse? This is a national security issue.
Everyone that was populating that call is a suspect, When found who was chatting it up with the Democrat op they need to get reassigned and security clearance yanked.

@Deplorable Me, #12:

That was after the Ukrainian President asked to meet with Giuliani. Kind of an important detail.

The transcript is of a telephone conversation that took place on July 25, 2019.

At that point, Giuliani had already traveled to Ukraine as Trump’s personal attorney—quite recently, according to Zelensky. He had spoken to one of Zelensky’s people to promote the opening of an official investigation of Joe Biden and his son. So, Trump’s telephone conversation was a follow up.

The military aid package to Ukraine had already been approved by Congress and was ready for release as of February 28, 2019. The Trump Administration did not do so, however. Instead—against the wishes of both the Pentagon and Congress—it withheld the allocated funds until September 2019, when it was finally released.

Consider the conversation in that context: Zelensky’s approved military assistance was being withheld by the White House, and the President of the United States was on the phone asking for a very specific favor, after noting a lack of reciprocity. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Giuliani and other assorted Trump tools were on a talking heads campaign building up the tale of Biden having derailed an investigation of his son and the company he worked for that had never actually existed. The dismissed Ukrainian prosecutor asserted that it was something he might have gotten around to—had he not been turned out as a major swamp denizen.

All of this was coincidence? Nah. It seems pretty obvious what was going on there.

Ever notice how Deep State Democrats embedded in the Trump Administration TIME their outrage?
This phone call took place in JULY.
But Deep State’s Democrat spy wasn’t outraged at first.
There was other stuff going on.
*Jeffery Epstein was still alive and in trouble that might have pulled down many others with him.
*Mueller’s Report was out.
*House lawmakers took a stand against the Squad for it’s BDS on Israel.
*And, on the Joe Biden front, Joe was taking credit for his part in the mass incarceration of minorities via the 1994 Crime Bill.

So, this spy sat on his outrage until it would be better timed to hurt Trump.
Pres Trump met with more than 5 world leaders today at the UN.
But the press was busy covering “impeachment.”
Elizabeth Warren had finally overtaken Joe Biden in some polls this week.
So, how to hurt both Trump and Biden at the same time?
Deep State is fiercely loyal to Hillary.
Hillary has begun to support Elizabeth Warren.
Boom!
Alter the outrage into an “impeachable event” and leak, leak, leak.
Once Trump put out the CIA transcript of his call with Ukraine’s president Selinsky the bottom fell out of the impeachment plan.
BUT, Biden has been fatally wounded.
And, somehow, this is Trump’s fault, not Deep State’s who was really the dirty actor.
Biden has been a placeholder for whoever Hillary felt she could trust.
(Or Hillary, if she were well enough.)
He had to go.
And he is gone.
Odds on how many days from now?
Anyone?

@Nan G, #15:

This phone call took place in JULY.

Refer to post #14. The phone call took place shortly after Giuliani’s visit to promote an investigation of Biden with the Ukrainian government. The military aid package that was ready for release in February was still being withheld. A whistleblower with knowledge of the July 25 telephone call put 2 and 2 together and came up with 4. He or she filed the complaint with the IG in August, apparently following all the rules and advising no one else.

Upon review, the IG found it a credible matter of urgent concern and passed it on to the Director of National Intelligence. This guy then had 7 days to pass it on to the congressional intelligence communities, as required by law. So, add another week. Sometime after that, the IG realized no such action was being taken. Figure on at least a few more days of back-and-forths between the IG and the Director’s office, and we’re already into September, when Congress was made aware of the problem.

The only delay on the part of congressional democrats resulted from everybody but the Director following the rules.

@Greg: How horrible the DNI didnt think hearsay was important or urgent enough to place before congress. I hope this guy testifies I want to know how he was privy to classified calls.

@Greg: Whether Giuliani had already been there or not was not the issue; the issue was if, in this conversation, Trump or Zelensky brought it up in this conversation. It was Zelensky.

The overriding point of it all is that the whistle blower lied. He didn’t have any idea what he was talking about but that didn’t matter one minute bit to Democrats, just like the veracity of the Steele dossier didn’t matter; all that matters is the accusation and the hype. All that matters is having an excuse to LIE.

They are screwing themselves and we all get to watch. It’s a marvelous sight. You’re committed now to extremism and false accusations to try and destroy Trump. Winning an election is now out of the question.

Make no mistake; we are ENJOYING this. Just like you wrecking yourselves on the rocks of your Kavanaugh false accusations, you keep trying to outdo your last lie with another bigger lie that will be THE one. Instead, you just look less and less credible, responsible and honorable. And you can’t stop.

Upon review, the IG found it a credible matter of urgent concern and passed it on to the Director of National Intelligence.

Actually, that’s not true. Further, WaPo reported the DNI threatened to resign if he was not allowed to testify. The DNI called WaPo a liar. Because they are lying.

@Nan G: Wouldn’t you think being associated with a corrupt, lying loser that put national security at risk would be a detriment? Well, not for liberals; that’s just the kind of thing they LOVE. If it damages the nation, they LOVE it all the more. They now need something to distract from the upcoming FISA abuse IG report which, again, is going to expose other aspects of the treacherous coup attempted against Trump.

@kitt:

I want to know how he was privy to classified calls.

The report has to have originally come from inside the Trump administration—unless it came from somebody in Ukraine who wasn’t happy with what they heard on their end.

@Greg: Yet we know, thanks to the transcripts, that they didn’t hear what they said they heard. So, at this point, what does the lying whistle blower’s testimony matter? He should consider that one day, SOMEONE committing perjury is going to be prosecuted.

@Deplorable Me, #19:

The whistleblower might know more than what has been revealed in the transcript. Zelensky might know more. There might even be a recording on the Ukrainian end.

@Greg: Oh, you mean the parts he made up? Again, that perjury thing.

@Deplorable Me, #20:

Without seeing the whistleblower’s complaint we can’t really judge the extent to which it corresponds to the telephone notes. We don’t even know that the telephone call is the only matter covered in the complaint.

The complaint has been made available for Congressional review. The prevailing opinion on the Democratic Party side of the aisle seems to be that it should be declassified.

It’s going to be hard to simultaneously argue that it doesn’t rise to the level of a matter of urgent concern, but at the same time must be kept from public view in the interest of national security.

@Greg: We’ve seen the transcript of the conversation the “whistle blower” (actually, nothing of a kind) made his accusations about. The accusations were false. Grasping even harder at the already proven false straws won’t make them suddenly factual.

It’s easy to argue it doesn’t rise to the level of even requiring interest. It is nothing but what desperate liberals WISH was true. For example, WHERE did all that MOUNTAIN of evidence you Democrats HAD right in the palms of your hands PROVING Trump colluded with Russians to win his election in 2016? LIES, Greg. All LIES. You should stop believing them and stop spreading them.

There have been reports that the urgent matter complaint involved more than the telephone conversation, which to my mind is bad enough on its own. Somebody thought it was important enough to put their career and possibly even their personal safety on the line. The Inspector General doesn’t consider it trivial. And somebody tried to keep it from going to Congress.

I don’t discount the possibility that the original source might have been Ukraine. They might have considered it a matter of their own national security. They’ve got Russian tanks on their border, Russia has already invaded and annexed Ukrainian territory, and a president who seems too close to Putin was withholding military assistance while asking a compromising favor. It could certainly be read that way. Consider Trump’s former campaign manager’s part in recent Ukrainian history, and his former National Security Advisor’s relationship with the Putin government.

@Greg:

Consider Trump’s former campaign manager’s part in recent Ukrainian history, and his former National Security Advisor’s relationship with the Putin government.

Consider Hillarys campaign manager also had history in the Ukraine also did not file paperwork with the government, something Honorable Mueller didnt seem to GAF about.

Sorry for the fake news network link.
Only you have the attention span of a gnat, some of us remember the history of the attempted coup.

@Greg:

There have been reports that the urgent matter complaint involved more than the telephone conversation, which to my mind is bad enough on its own.

Is it as bad as Russian collusion?

Somebody thought it was important enough to put their career and possibly even their personal safety on the line.

Show me an example where any left wing leaker has suffered for their impropriety. This guy risks NOTHING and, depending on the scale of the lie, knows he will be hailed as a hero and make all the late night comedy shows. Give me a break. “On the line” my ass.

Consider Trump’s former campaign manager’s part in recent Ukrainian history, and his former National Security Advisor’s relationship with the Putin government.

Consider that the “black ledger” was used to incriminate Manafort, evidence that has been discounted as phony.

The “whistle blower” has released his complaint. He heard something from some people. He’s not a whistle blower, he’s a gossip columnist.

@Deplorable Me: They need to find out exactly who populated the call in question and find out who had contact with the gossip. Those agents must be relieved from duty until discovery of the national security leak.
Continue the investigation into the origins of Spying on Trumps campaign, and weaponizing the IC and foreign IC (Italy has an investigation) We hope Ukraine, Australia and the UK will follow suit.

In questioning, it appears Schiff doesn’t know the answers, but he knows the answers he wants to hear. Obviously, he doesn’t understand people who follow laws, rules and procedures.

Various “never-Trumpers” have various reasons for opposing Trump in wanting the “swamp drained” in DC.
Dems might be scared into diversionary “impeach!” action over the mention by Trump of CrowdStrike in his call with Ukraine’s leader.
CrowdStrike is, of course, the means by which Hillary’s emails were garnered off the DNC computers after (maybe?) Seth Rich leaked then to Wikileaks.
Get to the bottom of CrowdStrike and you get to the bottom of Deep State.

BUT, Never-Trumpers have other reasons for fighting against cleaning corruption out.
Take Mitt Romney……please.
Mitt Romney has been for impeachment based on THIS phone call since the very first.
Why?
Because he has a close friend and adviser on the board of directors of Burisma!!!
Look up Joseph Cofer Black.
Deep State has players from the entire UNIParty.
Mitt refused to vote for Trump.
He wrote in Ann Romney instead.

@Nan G: Since Trump won, Democrats have been scrambling to cover their tracks. Now it appears their tracks lead overseas, which makes covering them up more difficult. Biden, of course, was trying to cover his own PERSONAL tracks.

The key parts of the complaint (quid pro quo and 8 instances of military aid being used) that were supposed to have been in the phone conversation that was the alleged impetus for the impeachment inquiry weren’t in there The president of the Ukraine also confirmed this. The “whistleblower” lied. Perhaps his/her “source” lied to him/her and he/she passed the lies on to do his/her part for the coup. Then again, perhaps the “source” who leaked this was really a plant and this was a sting operation to out the “whistleblower” and get the demokrats and DS to expose themselves. PT did say the more the MSM and dems push this the bigger their fall would be. Guilliani also boasted of “traps” that were set. The “whistleblower” has some company though. Schiffhead lied to Congress and the American people quoting things PT never said.

Once again, the Bolsehviks are putting the country through another witch hunt and show trial by accusing PT of what they are guilty of. BTW, PT asking for Ukraine’s assistance in weeding out corruption and getting to the bottom of the real interference in our elections is what we should expect POTUS to do. And getting to the real truth terrifies the demokrats and their DS allies, hence this charade. Remember how “important” that was to the dems when the last time they tried to frame PT for something they were guilty of? It was so important they were beating the war drums with Russia.

Something else the MSM conveniently left out. This is from the last DS/dem witch hunt/show trial. Pretty significant I’d say.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2019/09/24/stunning-rebuke-federal-judge-throws-out-guilty-verdict-for-flynn-partner-and-acquits/

Read it and weep! This is “The Treaty Between the United States of America and Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters” that was signed under Bill Clinton.

https://www.congress.gov/treaty-document/106th-congress/16/document-text?r=316

Per Article 1:

Article 1 sets forth a non-exclusive list of the major
types of assistance to be provided under the Treaty, including
taking the testimony or statements of persons; providing
documents, records and other items of evidence

; locating or
identifying persons or items; serving documents; transferring
persons in custody for testimony or other purposes; executing
requests for searches and seizures; assisting in proceedings
related to immobilization and forfeiture of assets,
restitution, and collection of fines; and, rendering any other
form of assistance not prohibited by the laws of the Requested
State. The scope of the Treaty includes not only criminal
offenses, but also proceedings related to criminal matters,
which may be civil or administrative in nature.

None of this was addressed by the dems or their MSM flunkies. Why? Looks like PT and his team were well aware of it.

@Greg:

It could certainly be read that way.

Only to advance partisan aims that are not congruent with reality.

These games have already costed your the election. Now they are going to cost you the House…

Trump thinks he’s going to get away with the same bullshit in 2020 that he was allowed to get away with in 2016, and a significant number of Americans seem stupid enough to let him do it. They don’t even seem to recognize the pattern.

Trump has attempted to pressure the President of Ukraine to aid in the character assassination of his most likely 2020 election opponent. He did this by withholding from Ukraine approved military aid needed to resist the territorial ambitions of Vladimir Putin, while simultaneously requesting the “favor”. He sent Giuliani as his personal representative to deliver the proposition, and followed up on that with a telephone call that made the nature of the proposition perfectly clear.

He then attempted to improperly use his powers of office to bury a report of this that was correctly filed by a CIA officer assigned to the White House.

Trump, earlier today:

“I want to know who’s the person, who’s the person who gave the whistleblower the information? Because that’s close to a spy. You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart? Right? The spies and treason, we used to handle it a little differently than we do now.”

This sort of presidential behavior is totally off the charts and totally unacceptable. What the hell do people not get about this?

@Greg: Your remarks don’t reflect reality.

They don’t reflect the Trump administration’s reality television program.

@Greg: You don’t reflect what was in the transcript or any of the real evidence. You’ve relied on NONE of the facts.

@another vet:

Fred Fleitz writes:

1/ As a former CIA analyst and former NSC official who edited transcripts of POTUS phone calls with foreign leaders, here are my thoughts on the whistleblower complaint which was just released. . . https://intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/20190812_-
2/ This is not an intelligence matter. It is a policy matter and a complaint about differences over policy. Presidential phone calls are not an intelligence concern. The fact that IC officers transcribe these calls does not give the IC IG jusrisdiction over these calls.

3/ It appears that rules restricting access and knowledge of these sensitive calls was breached. This official was not on this call, not on the approved dissem list and should not have been briefed on the call.

3/ The way this complaint was written suggested the author had a lot of help. I know from my work on the House Intel Commitee staff that many whistleblowers go directly to the intel oversight committees. Did this whistleblower first meet with House Intel committee members?

.4/ It is therefore important that Congress find out where this complaint came from. What did House and Senate intel committee dem members and staff know about it and when? Did they help orchestrate this complaint?

5/ My view is that this whistleblower complaint is too convenient and too perfect to come from a typical whistleblower. Were other IC officers involved? Where outside groups opposed to the president involved?

6/ This complaint will further damage IC relations with the White House for many years to come because IC officers appear to be politicizing presidential phone calls with foreign officials and their access to the president and his activities in the White House.

7/ Worst of all, this IC officer — and probably others — have blatantly crossed the line into policy. This violates a core responsibility of IC officers is to inform, but not make policy.

8/ This is such a grevious violation of trust between the IC and the White House that it would not surprise me if IC officers are barred from all access to POTUS phone calls with foreign officials.

Trump relied on personal attacks and character assassination in 2016, first working his way through each of his republican opponents and then focusing his avalanche of b.s. accusations entirely on Hillary Clinton. He had the support of Putin’s social media disinformation apparatus and Wikileaks to assist him.

He’s now trashing Joe Biden, assuming him to be his most likely 2020 opponent, and has attempted to coerce the government of Ukraine into helping him blow up a scandal by withholding needed military aid and using it as leverage. His intentions should be obvious to any reasonable person.

He’s not going to get away with it twice. Democrats aren’t going to play nicely with the playground bully. They’ve seen how he operates, and understand what he thinks he can get away with. Trump has always thought anything he does is OK, so long as he doesn’t get caught. Now he thinks he’s in a position to avoid serious repercussions even if he is. He’s going to find out that isn’t so.

@Greg:

Trump thinks he’s going to get away with the same bullshit in 2020 that he was allowed to get away with in 2016, and a significant number of Americans seem stupid enough to let him do it. They don’t even seem to recognize the pattern.

You mean like laundering campaign money through a law firm to pay an op research company to hire a foreign agent to dig up dirt from the Russians on a campaign opponent? That kind of bullshit? Frankly, I am proud of you if it is that you are so upset with, but I doubt it is.

How much involvement do you think Schiff had in the creation of the “whistleblower” document?

@Greg:

Democrats aren’t going to play nicely

When have they ever played nice?

@retire05, #42:

How much involvement do you think Schiff had in the creation of the “whistleblower” document?

None whatsoever. The proposition to Ukraine made by Trump’s personal attorney and the followup telephone call from the White House are 100 percent pure and unadulterated Donald Trump.

Neither Schiff nor the whistleblower arranged any of the things that were the subject of the telephone call or of the whistleblower’s complaint. They’re the entire issue, not the complaint itself.

@Greg:

He had the support of Putin’s social media disinformation apparatus and Wikileaks to assist him.

The support of Putin? Where did the peepee story come from…let me help you Russian Disinformation bought by a Clinton employee.
Wikileaks well the truth hurts? Nothing released by wikileaks has been denied every bit of it was released the same as it was received by Assange.
Podesta thinks Hillary smells like a combination of urine, cabbage and farts. What a treat it would have been for foreign dignitaries to sit at a State dinner with that!
They want to keep the identity of the whistle blower secret, So now its confidential gossip they will try to impeach Trump with.

@kitt, #45:

They want to keep the identity of the whistle blower secret, So now its confidential gossip they will try to impeach Trump with.

Why would the whistleblower want his or her name to remain secret? Trump, earlier today:

“I want to know who’s the person, who’s the person who gave the whistleblower the information? Because that’s close to a spy. You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart? Right? The spies and treason, we used to handle it a little differently than we do now.”

Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?

At this point, the players are playing for keeps. This is not a reality TV show. Jeffrey Epstein really is sleeping with the fishes.

@Greg: It is a national security issue, our President cant have a diplomatic phone call without some spy getting his thong in a knot? I also want to know how classifed conversations get blabbed about.

@retire05: Another seditious deep stater.

Uh, oh. Check out the sworn statement. The more the demokrats push this, the deeper the hole gets for Uncle Pervy and Barack. Speaking of Barack, it’s kind of strange he didn’t immediately jump to his VP’s defense.

BREAKING: Solomon Bombshell — Ukrainian Prosecutor Shokin Details BIDEN’S SHAKEDOWN — WILL LIKELY END BIDEN CAMPAIGN!

@another vet:

Here is the deal; Schiff, et al, thought they could go after Trump over an event that was really all about Joe Biden and his wayward son. It backfired and now Joe Biden’s campaign is dead and all but buried. Say hello to faux Native American Elizabeth Warren.

I have no doubt Schiff is in this up to his creepy neck.

@Greg:

Trump relied on personal attacks and character assassination in 2016

No he didn’t. He described his opponents. If you will note, he did NOT go to foreign agents and governments and PAY them to collect false information to use. He also did not engage in illegal surveillance of campaigns or install spies in the opponent’s campaigns… like the Democrats did.

He’s now trashing Joe Biden, assuming him to be his most likely 2020 opponent, and has attempted to coerce the government of Ukraine into helping him blow up a scandal by withholding needed military aid and using it as leverage.

Like Hillary, Biden brought this all upon himself by being corrupt. The DNC brought this upon themselves by supporting corrupt candidates.

Trump hasn’t gotten away with anything… because he hasn’t DONE anything. Notice how Schiff didn’t read from the transcript of the call? Instead, he made up his own dialogue because the TRUTH destroyed his accusations. Nothing but lies; but why do they lie, Greg? Why was collusion, obstruction and now THIS all driven totally by lies? Because you are DESPERATE and FRIGHTENED.

Why would the whistleblower want his or her name to remain secret? Trump, earlier today:

Yet another case whre you believe that just because someone makes accusations against Trump or a liberal commits fraud or extortion, they should not face justice. Whoever the whistle blower is, they LIED; we know this by the transcript and President Zelensky. Schiff himself should be prosecuted for LYING during the hearings today. You and the Democrats completely ignore ALL the facts and evidence and simply create the narrative that fits your desperate needs. Well, it’s going to turn out badly for you.

@retire05:

When have they ever played nice?

They’ve always lied, cheated, stolen, extorted and committed fraud. They are now forcing their coup against Trump to a critical mass; it is going to overheat and melt them down. If they don’t vote to impeach, their base will rebel against them. If they DO vote to impeach, Trump will win in a massive landslide. Pushing this game without ANY credible evidence of ANY crimes is ruination. I hate to see a once venerable party destroyed, but that is going to be the result.
