Ukraine – Drones Turn Off Electricity

In early September Gallup did a survey in Ukraine:

More than six months into a war that many around the world (including Russia) thought Ukraine would lose quickly, most Ukrainians are resolved to keep fighting.A clear majority — 70% of all Ukrainians interviewed in early September — say their country should continue fighting until it wins the war with Russia. Just over one in four (26%) favor negotiating to end it as soon as possible.

That 70% poll number is likely the high point as it came at a time that promised Ukrainian successes.

The situation for Ukraine has since gotten worse. Much worse.

Since mid September the Ukrainian counter offensive east of Kharkov has come to a halt. Despite serious Ukrainian losses the counter offensive in the southern Kherson direction has likewise not moved a lot. Both of these front lines are now stable. On the Donbas front the central Ukrainian position in Bakhmut (Artyomovsk in Russian) is in danger of being overrun.

Russia has mobilized some 220,000 reservists and some 70,000 volunteers. These are now in training and by next month most of them will be able to join the fight. The weather in recent weeks has become more rainy. Tanks and trucks can no longer move over open fields without risking to get stuck. In late November/December frost will set in. The ground will freeze and Russia will be able to launch large attacks.

Russia has also changed the war’s rhythm. While it had so far refrained from hitting civilian infrastructure, aside from electrical transformer stations serving the railroad network, it has now launched attacks on thermal power stations and Ukraine’s 330 kilovolt long range electrical distribution network.

bigger

In Ukraine, as in Russia, thermal power stations are also used as district heating sources. Hot water is distributed to houses over large pipe networks. When the power stations are out people’s homes will freeze. There will also be no drinking water. The freezing lines will experience serious damage.

The Russian attacks are effective:

From towns near frontline battlefields to high-rises in the capital, Ukrainians were trying to conserve energy as President Volodymyr Zelensky warned on Tuesday that Russian attacks over the past eight days had destroyed 30 percent of Ukraine’s power stations and caused “massive blackouts across the country.”The latest strikes have increased the likelihood of a miserable winter, with residents having to do without basic services such as heat and water.

…Mr. Zelensky urged Ukrainians in his nightly address on Monday to reduce their electricity use during peak hours to “enable the whole country to go through this period more stably,” and many residents and businesses have been doing their part.

In his statement on Tuesday, he did not specify which power stations had sustained significant damage. On Tuesday, blasts hit a district on the eastern shore of the Dnipro River in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, according to the mayor, along with cities in the north and center of the country.

The attack on Kyiv killed three people and knocked out electricity and water in parts of the city, officials said, and came one day after Russia struck the city with exploding Iranian-made drones, apparently targeting electricity and heating facilities.

In Kyiv, lights flickered just after 9 a.m., and residents living in the city’s eastern reaches said they had heard an explosion. The mayor, Vitaly Klitschko, said that an “object of critical infrastructure” had been struck. Kyrylo Tymoshenko, a senior official in Mr. Zelensky’s office, said that at least three strikes had hit an energy site, resulting in “serious damage,” without elaborating.

The USSR left Ukraine with a very decent electricity network and substantial generation capacities.

bigger

The backbone of Ukraine’s network are the 13,000+ kilometer of 330 kV lines and the 88 330kV transformers which connect the regions and allow capacity to be moved around. It could move enough electricity even to the eastern frontline when, due to the war, the power plants in the east were turned off.

bigger

The Russian attacks seem to have two focal points:

  1. To turn off all thermal (coal, gas) power plants in Ukraine.
  2. To destroy those switching station where more than two 330k lines connect.

This will cut the generation capacity in Ukraine by half and totally disconnect some regions, especially in the east, from any generation capacity.

It will thereby darken the cities in eastern Ukraine which will make waging war more difficult for the Ukrainian military. It will also make it more difficult for material support like weapons and ammunition to reach the front lines. (The regions that were integrated into Russia receive electricity from Russia.)

The attacks on the Ukrainian electricity network will have some external effects. Throughout the last years Ukraine supplied surplus electricity to some of its neighbors. Moldavia and Hungary were the two biggest buyers of Ukrainian electricity. While Hungary is connected to the wider European network Moldova is not. It also has only 350 megawatt of generation capacity. In 2017 some 20% of its energy came from Ukraine. Should one of its own power plants fail or need maintenance  it will likely see blackouts.

bigger

Partying in Kiev had continued throughout the war. It will now end. The misery of war will now come to its capital and to the rabidly nationalist cities and towns in its west.

Putin is terrorizing the civilian population of Ukraine as his military forces continue to be driven back. He’s methodically setting up the people of an entire nation for extreme deprivation and death by cold and starvation in the coming winter—all for daring to resist his invasion of their homeland. It’s a war crime, plain and simple. It’s state terrorism. Putin has become a worse terrorist than bin Laden or Saddam ever were. He’s become nothing less than a calculating mass murderer.

The evil little bastard’s lunatic actions are going to throw all of Europe into chaos, send the US economy into a terminal tailspin, and ultimately lead us into a Third World War that will leave everything—including Russia—in ruins. Nobody will benefit but the rats and cockroaches.

Killing this guy before that happens is probably the only way left to prevent it. Hopefully some Kremlin insider will redeem himself and his nation in that fashion before it’s too late.

Russia is winning the war.

What was left of Berlin, after allied bombing? What was left of Nagasaki, its a war you dolt. But never enough blood for serious negotiations to start.
Now after giving Ukraine internet through Starlink Ukraine wants Musk dead, why? He suggested a peace plan while Biden pours billions into a black hole.

Russian warplane takes out Russian apartment building, killing 13

It looks like the parachuting pilot narrowly missed the resultant fireball. Several residents who jumped trying to escape weren’t so fortunate.

Russia is winning the war. (And no one clicks on your links, btw).

Russia is winning the war.

I don’t understand why that makes you so gleeful.

(And no one clicks on your links, btw).

At least he provides them for anybody who wants to see where he got his info.

Since they’ve been caught lying, generating false war scenes hollywood-style, we are under no obligation to treat these as anything more than they are:

Hoaxes.

Latest UK Defence Intelligence update on the situation in Ukraine – 19 October 2022

Eight months into the invasion, major elements of Russia’s military leadership are increasingly dysfunctional. At the tactical level, there is almost certainly a worsening shortage of capable Russian junior officers to organise and lead newly mobilised reservists.

Eyewitness testimony suggests that the shooting of 11 Russian soldiers near Belgorod by a fellow recruit on 15 October 2022 occurred after an officer’s abusive comments towards ethnic minority recruits.

Poor lower-level leadership is likely worsening the low morale and poor unit cohesion in many parts of the Russian force.

Four of the five generals with direct operational command of elements of the invasion in February 2022 have now been dismissed. Their replacements have so far done little to improve Russia’s battlefield performance.

The lack of command continuity will likely be more disruptive than in a Western military because under Russian doctrine the development of plans sits largely with the commander personally, rather than as a collective effort across a broader staff.

01/19/2022 – Russian commander says Kherson situation “difficult” as Ukraine advances

“Our further plans and actions regarding the city of Kherson itself will depend on the emerging military-tactical situation. … it is already very difficult today.”

Kherson is the only Ukrainian regional capital Russia has managed to take since Putin launched his disastrous invasion back in February.

Russia is winning the war.

The Western Propaganda machine, who has no support or relation to the free peoples of the West, are desperate. They have caused this war, and seem to be leading us deeper into it.

France is leaving NATO. Thunberg wants nuclear. Musk is calling for Peace, as is Trump. The WEF/Deep State/Leftist War Machine is completely out of their minds and calling for more death.

Resist these fools and check them when they spout off like this idiot greg does. His serial posting is proof enough.

They are losing and they know it.

All propaganda. All lies.

Maybe the huge NATO operation Polaris 21 before the invasion, ending just as Zelenskyy announced Ukraine was going to invade recapture Crimea, was a bad idea?

Or they WANT this war.

Last edited 1 year ago by Nathan Blue

Zelenskyy as the false “hero” in a green t-shirt was generated by US and British propaganda forces, using actual test groups to see what plays better.

Green screens, lies, and propaganda.

They laid out this plan to bait Russia into a war on purpose.

THIS WAR, LIKE COVID, WAS PLANNED AND UNLEASHED…ON PURPOSE.

Anyone else get those spam emails about how you can get paid to post and link and retweet pro-NATO, anti-Russian propaganda?

It’s probably coming from your government.

Our tax dollars are paying for idiots like greg.

The Military Industrial Complex has a rich history of lying and creating propaganda to get normal citizens onboard with their needless wars.

You need an enemy – Putin, as we see idiot greg double-down on “It’s just Putin and he’s evil and he’s going to be killed, etc”

Rejected.

You need a hero – Green-shirt Zelenskyy, an actual actor-puppet installed by the US and NATO for just this purpose.

Rejected.

You need “war atrocities” – Film crews and sets have been used to give the false pretense Russia is losing. From the US sinking the destroyer (Ukraine didn’t) to every other gamed story, the myth of the “noble Ukrainians fighting for their homeland” isn’t real.

Rejected.

You need people to keep thinking the paid, owned press is “independent.” – All media sources that the trolls and others link to are compromised, owned, and complete mouthpieces for the regimes in question.

Rejected.

If anyone links to the AP, Reuters, Politico, NBC, FOX, CNN, etc…you are a responsible citizen in merely REJECTING their link as any form of proof. It’s actually proof they are lying.

10/19/22 – McCarthy signals GOP-led House likely to oppose more aid to Ukraine

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is signaling that if Republicans win the House majority in next month’s midterm elections, the GOP is likely to oppose more aid to Ukraine in its war with Russia.

Since the invasion in February the majority of congressional Republicans and Democrats have united in authorizing billions of dollars in U.S. military and humanitarian assistance to Kyiv as a geopolitical and moral stand against Vladimir Putin’s aggression.

McCarthy, who could be House speaker if Republicans triumph, indicated that that could end in a GOP-led House.

“I think people are gonna be sitting in a recession and they’re not going to write a blank check to Ukraine,” he recently told Punchbowl News. “They just won’t do it.”

McCarthy suggested that Americans want Congress to focus on issues closer to home.

“There’s the things [the Biden administration] is not doing domestically,” he said. “Not doing the border, and people begin to weigh that. Ukraine is important, but at the same time, it can’t be the only thing they do, and it can’t be a blank check.”

The United States has authorized upward of $60 billion in aid to Ukraine, with more than $18.2 billion in security assistance given since January 2021. The Senate voted to finalize more than $40 billion in new military and humanitarian assistance in May, with Republicans being the only lawmakers voting against that package — the largest investment in Ukraine thus far.

Eleven Republican senators and 57 House GOP members opposed the legislation, arguing that more needs to be done to account for how the money is spent and to trace weapons and equipment sent to the battlefield.

On Friday, the United States announced an additional $725 million in security assistance for Ukraine, including more ammunition for high mobility rocket systems, or HIMARS, as well as precision-guided artillery rounds, antitank weapons and Humvees, according to a Pentagon statement.

Although most of the congressional leadership, most notably Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), have been steadfast in support for Ukraine, voters in several states in January could send Republicans to Washington who are eager to oppose aid. The number of those wary of foreign aid and adherents of former president Donald Trump’s “America First” agenda are expected to grow in the next Congress.

In September, J.D. Vance, the venture capitalist and author who is locked in a close race for a U.S. Senate seat representing Ohio, said he wants “the Ukrainians to be successful” but not because of continued U.S. funding.

“I do think that we have to get to a point, and this is where we do disagree, we’ve got to stop the money spigot to Ukraine eventually,” he told the ABC affiliate in Toledo. “We cannot fund a long-term military conflict that I think ultimately has diminishing returns for our own country.”

Vance added, “I think we’re at the point where we’ve given enough money in Ukraine, I really do. … The Europeans need to step up. And frankly, if the Ukrainians and the Europeans, more importantly, knew that America wasn’t going to foot the bill, they might actually step up.”

Europe has provided a significant amount of military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

In Arizona, Republican Senate nominee Blake Masters criticized the additional funding for Ukraine in May, claiming that the money should be used instead to build a wall at the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Under Joe Biden, it’s always America last,” he said in a video he tweeted. “Let’s be clear about what this means. It means no cease-fire. It means another foreign war where we pay for everything. Many more thousands of people will die. There’s no resolution, no end in sight. The risk of course is that a proxy war can escalate into an all-out nuclear war between nuclear powers.”

In New Hampshire, Republican Senate candidate Don Bolduc said last week that more spending is not the answer to improving conditions in Ukraine.

“We must hold the administration accountable,” he told New Hampshire’s ABC affiliate. “We just can’t print this money. It’s money we don’t have, and it’s equipment that’s being thrown at a problem without any strategy, without any policy, and it’s not going to get the job done.”

These Republicans could join Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who in May temporarily held up $40 billion of aid to Ukraine, saying, “you can’t save Ukraine by dooming the U.S. economy.”

Nevada Republican Senate nominee Adam Laxalt tweeted in May that the $40 billion U.S. aid to Ukraine was a “shockingly abhorrent proposal.”

The loudest voices on the right on the issue, such as Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, have been outspoken in questioning aid to Ukraine.

The Conservative Political Action Conference in September posted, then deleted, a tweet that echoed Kremlin language and called for a halt to “gift-giving to Ukraine.” It later issued a statement reaffirming its stance on U.S. assistance. “We must oppose Putin, but American taxpayers should not be shouldering the vast majority of the cost,” it said.

A September Pew Research poll found that most Republicans and Democrats say that the U.S. is providing “about right” or “not enough” support to Ukraine, though 32 percent of Republicans said the U.S. is providing “too much,” a figure that has more than tripled since March (9 percent).

Relatedly, Americans’ concern about Ukraine being defeated and taken over by Russia dropped from 55 percent in May to 38 percent in September.

McCarthy’s comments to Punch Bowl News drew an incredulous response from Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), who tweeted at McCarthy, “What in the absolute bloody hell is happening to @GOPLeader.”

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has warned that if the GOP wins the House, help for Ukraine would be in jeopardy.

“I just see a freight train coming, and that is Trump and his operation turning against aid for Ukraine,” he said on MSNBC. “House Republicans, if they were to take the majority, being preternaturally against anything Joe Biden is for — including the war in Ukraine — and there being a real crisis where the House Republican majority would refuse to support additional aid to Ukraine.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday that she did not want to engage in hypotheticals about what could happen if Republicans gained control of the House, but she said the president would continue to support the Ukrainian people’s efforts to defend themselves.

“We will continue to work with Congress and continue to monitor those conversations on these efforts and support Ukraine as long as it takes,” she said. “We are going to keep that promise that we’re making to the brave Ukrainians who are fighting every day to fight for their freedom and their democracy.”

At least McCarthy is making the GOP’s intentions clear.

This article likely made Vladimir Putin’s day.

Enough money has been wasted, period.

The GOP will abandon Ukraine and then blame Democrats, just like Trump abandoned Afghanistan and then blamed Biden.

It’s their Standard Operating Procedure. You’ve seen them do it again and again.

Remember in November: The authoritarian and repressive GOP has now become the puppet of Donald Trump, who thinks Putin is very smart.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

The better solution is negotiations for a peace, Zelensky has called for preemptive nuclear strikes thus he cant be involved. Putin has always contended going nuclear would be reactive action, dont nuke me I wont nuke you.

Where is the diplomacy? I thought democrats were all about diplomacy.

Putin doesn’t do ‘diplomacy’. He only wanted Crimea. Now look.

If the GOP prevails Ukraine falls, Putin remains in power, and he eventually dominates all Europe, because he’ll also have stolen Ukraine’s massive offshore oil and gas reserves. McCarthy sent a message about Ukraine, just like Rick Scott sent a message about Social Security. I suggest everyone look at those messages very closely.

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

Putin…and Zelenskyy…BEGGED for diplomacy.

That was rejected by Biden and his masters.

Europe’s problems are Europe’s problems. It should be Germany in there wasting their money.

Not the US.

And in your idiot propaganda tirade, you linked Putin to Social Security…

Rejected.

because he’ll also have stolen Ukraine’s massive offshore oil and gas reserves.

Um, you didn’t know that’s why he’s invading? Wow.

The fool Biden is getting us into WWIII, and going to get the USA wiped off the mat.

Americans soundly reject this, and no one supports Biden and the regime.

No one.

Their diplomacy is to coup, When it begins a civil war as it did in Ukraine sit back and laugh and laugh until some other country steps in to stop the slaughter of innocents. Then arm the aggressor to the teeth for the puppet government they installed.

Zelensky said no such thing. Zelensky called for preventive strikes inside Russia to prevent nuclear escalation. The bridge to Crimea was one such. The Russian fuel depot in Belgorod was another. Both were military targets. There should be plenty more. Ukraine should not be expected to fight a war against an aggressive tyrant with its hands tied by the invader’s “rules”.

I think ALL Russian supply lines feeding Putin’s war should be targeted. He started this. He can stop it—or the Russians can stop him. They need more incentive to do so.

Abandonment is the hallmark of democrats. First, in post WWII, democrats abandoned the Chinese fighting mao and today we have the CCP. democrats adandoned south Vietnam and today Vietnam is communist. Then, idiot biden abandoned Afghanistan and now the taliban rule again.

You’re doing exactly what I just observed Republicans do.

They crashed the economy in 2007-2008, and then blamed Democrats. Trump killed the Obama recovery in a 4-year binge, running up more debt than any modern president, and then blamed Biden. In both cases, the GOP actively resisted all Democratic efforts to restore public confidence, while doing the same stupid song-and-dance tune that goes “All will be better, if only we cut taxes, cut regulation, disassemble the social safety net, oppress women, and put an assault rifle in every closet.”

A vote for the GOP is a vote for the appeasement of Putin, and a vote for the Texas Taliban. It’s a vote to give the 1% that already own 1/3 of everything additional money and power. It’s a vote to let the GOP “reform” Social Security and Medicare. It’s a vote to let Republican state legislatures overrule the outcome of national presidential elections, because they “have a feeling something must be wrong.” It’s a vote to pretend that climate change isn’t real, and that our supplies of oil and gas will go on forever. It’s a vote to deprive gay people of their rights, and a vote for the book banners and burners.

President Trump has gotten under your skin today. Have you called the suicide hotline yet?

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is now: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. While some areas may be currently able to connect to the Lifeline by dialing 988, this dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022.

Will you leave the country, presumably you are here, when MAGA republicans win both the House and Senate?

And when President Trump is re-elected in 2024, “your” country will no longer exist as you would prefer.

When Trump wins in 2024, he…and the rest of us…will put this right.

The globalists and their puppets such as Trudeau and Biden have failed.

We don’t want them.

Pence will probably win the GOP’s 2024 presidential nomination. Unlike Trump, he isn’t a criminal or traitorous lunatic. America is ready for a return to integrity and sanity.

Pence will probably win the GOP’s 2024 presidential nomination.

No, he won’t.

Trump has done nothing wrong. You’ve never given any evidence of anything.

America is indeed ready for a return to integrity and sanity. We miss Trump, and he’ll win easily in 2024…knowing that we will arrest any vote riggers this time.

This isn’t sane, you stupid fuck.

Yeah, you sure have an ear to the ground when it comes to MAGA politics. It is laughable that any one with a modicum of intellect would think the traitor pence has even a remote chance of winning the nomination for the GOP

The only support for traitor pence will come from the pedophiliac group known as the lincoln project.

Pence was the guy who refused to leave with a lynch mob in the Capitol, upholding his oath of office and stymying Trump’s coup attempt. Pence is a national hero. Like Cheney, he’s a Republican who hasn’t abandoned his personal integrity. I can disagree with him while still respecting him.

Pence could actually win in 2024. Trump would doom the GOP to another election disaster.

Where is the evidence that pence was requested to leave with a group of rioters? Did the media miss that tidbit?

Was he held at gunpoint?

Where’s the evidence that English is your native language?

Pence bwahahahahahaha

The gays can have their porn books just not in our schools they are not being burned, we would be just as upset if straight porn was pushed into schools.
Gays should not have extra rights just the ones everyone has.

Have you ever looked at the most-banned book lists? The Texas Taliban should get the hell out of our schools and libraries. Maybe migrate to Russia or Iran, where they’d feel right at home.

I’ve had it with the GOP’s crap. They mollycoddle such extremist fanatics in return for votes. It’s how the GOP has become so debased that they’re methodically purging patriotic people of integrity, principle, and conscience.
Trump is only a catalyst.

Uh, the “Texas Taliban” myth had been dead for awhile, you cuck.

We’re not allowing your sex-addled death cult to infect our children’s education.

No books were banned. We were just intentional with what our kids learn.

Piss off.

You’ll be pleased to know that Iranian troops are now in Crimea, supporting Putin’s efforts to destroy Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure. ‘Birds of a feather,’ I suppose.

The democrats underestimate mama bears.

Just out of curiosity…why do you believe that anything these people are saying is true?

Why do you suppose their presentations were conveniently videoed for viral social media distribution, but you can’t find a trace of the story on any legitimate news outlets?

Why can’t you find the books named on any ELA recommended reading list, or any evidence that the school is actually ‘promoting’ them?

Last edited 1 year ago by Greg

What you consider legitimate is MSM, Yes these parents come to the school-boards prepared, there is no one, not one board member denying the books are in the childrens libraries.
but this is not the subject of the thread…as usual.

They are video taped by the school board, not someone with a I-Phone. And there is no “legitimate” news source you would accept. You only rely only the left wing media and it would be a cold day in hell when they reported on Moms Against Molestation.

Just out of curiosity…why do you believe that anything these people are saying is true?

Please ask that to yourself every time you post your lies and propaganda media links that are also lies.

The books in question are meant to make more gays, because they can’t make themselves (and they don’t really exist, in the first place).

It’s indoctrination. The belief that everything is a social construction, which is patently absurd…and very un-scientific.

So don’t effin’ read them. None of the schools mentioned are actually promoting them, putting them on reading lists, or making them available in school libraries. That’s all overblown bullshit, presented and videoed at school board meetings to be pasted all over right-wing social media sites. The point is stir up outrage against their favorite targets, because stirring up mindless outrage is easier than intelligent, factual discussion. It’s a low-brow gutter politics propaganda technique that has poisoned the GOP and will eventually poison the nation.

Nobody questions how these frothing-at-the-mouth zealots come to mysteriously “find things” in classrooms and school libraries, or how the sordid material they use as stage props actually got there. They probably find it on Amazon. Then it becomes their excuse for banning many other books that don’t meet with their approval—just like their widely-promoted horror fantasies about late-term abortion became their excuse for denying women all choice under all circumstances.

Meanwhile, in the world of real and verifiable news: Parent threw bleach at Charlotte elementary school bus driver’s face, district says

The books in question are meant to make more gays, because they can’t make themselves (and they don’t really exist, in the first place).

A sheep-dog does not merely “ignore” obvious threats to the flock, greg.

The wolf is always, always prowling…usually under the guise of “this isn’t really happening.”

But we know it is, don’t we.

I can assume you never had children.

Q: What are your thoughts about Vladimir Putin? A Ukrainian grandmother answers, in Russian.

My thoughts are that he was pushed into a war by NATO expansion, and those same puppet-masters who installed a fake regime in Ukraine (Zelenskyy’s regime) are now playing games on the world stage and risking all our lives.

Or out to take them, which seems very plausible.

Europe is breaking apart and many countries seem on the verge of a civil war.
Dutch Farmers being pushed off their land.
France leaving NATO.
UK scripting everything, and losing their PM in 44 days.
Polish troops in Ukraine.
The US blowing up Nordstream, and sending MORE “money” to Ukraine.
Israel sending systems to Ukraine.

It’s literally WWIII, and DAMN sure wasn’t caused by one crazy russian leader who came out of nowhere.

This is your war, greg.

Own it.

If these stories are true, it should not surprise anyone with any knowledge of Russian history.
The soviets gleefully destroyed their own crops just to prevent the Germans from benefitting from them as the Russians retreated.
Millions of Russians died.
When the USSR tried to impose a socialist system on an agrarian people they destroyed incentive (because everyone got paid the same so no one worked very hard and all the crops failed) so, again, millions of their own people died.
The Russian pattern is that their own people don’t matter to them.
Why should the lives of their neighbors?
The median age in Russia is over 40!
They are a dying country that refuses to invite migrants, preferring to annex neighbors who share their heritage.
Here’s their own population pyramid……they are dying.comment image
They have refused to have babies and now must import workers to support their own older people.
